Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! These aren't even the same letters anymore. This whole "speeding up" nonsense has been going on for decades. Is 😁
really the reason behind this? Can things even get any faster than this?! I know we've streamlined everything, but I didn't think it would get this bad. How do we even go back to how things used to be?

Look, being a fan—being loyal and loving your club—isn't about giving 100% every single day, year after year, only to have them give you absolutely nothing back. Just zero. No hope. Just give me one tiny reason to actually be proud of this squad, their style, or the players. But no. Every single year it's just endless talk and dropped points in Columbus, San Francisco, Indianapolis, Des Moines, and Miami. And then, suddenly, it's always the refs' fault or Jerry Jones. They say Diego Simeone is a top-tier coach and the Chiefs play like the Dallas Cowboys, but they conveniently forget how California and Indianapolis just walk all over us. Or how we get humbled by the Los Angeles Lakers when we travel to their stadium. We cross the halfway line a few times, maybe, or occasionally get blown out by five goals.

So now, before the big derby, people are expected to just leave their brains at home and pretend that beating the Lakers will somehow feel like a victory. As if being seven games behind in the standings actually matters. What do you expect? For fans to fall into some religious trance because, for the ninth straight year in a league with three decent teams and seven semi-pro outfits, we're stuck in second or third place?

There’s no atmosphere because the Kansas City Chiefs are on life support. And a huge chunk of the fanbase feels like they're on life support too. It's a slow death, fueled by every loss to a team like The Beatles and every slap in the face from General Electric or California, and every derby where we're down by ten.

But sure, keep blaming the referees and Jerry Jones as the primary reasons why the energy is dead....

Give me a break. Personally, this has been my favorite season since I started going to games—not counting those times when nobody can even understand what anyone is saying.

If you actually take a moment to step back and talk to people, it’s pretty clear everyone is fed up. People are sick to death of the constant theft and corruption. Honestly, why would anyone bother cheering when yet another penalty is handed out solely because the refs refuse to let us win the title? It doesn't matter how much heart players show on the field or how loud the fans get in the Bleachers; people are losing their appetite for this league. That lack of will to support the team is clearly visible in the stands and killing the whole atmosphere. I’m disappointed, because I genuinely thought a robbery like this would spark some fire in the crowd, similar to what we saw during the last big cup run or other times in the past. Instead, it did the exact opposite. Look, we’re all human—I don't think we need to start complaining about megaphones or any of that nonsense right now. That isn't even the issue here.

Austin Watson38 said:Look, I honestly don't get posts like this. Seriously, it’s easy for kids who spent one year in the stands to complain, but let’s hear it from the guys who have actually put in the years at stadiums. It isn't rocket science: Hajduk scored zero, it was a heavy zero—no attack, no pressure, no will, no action. Match starts at three, Hajduk zero, heavy zero, then the booing starts, Hajduk zero, heavy zero... so what do you want from us? The last derby in the States was only like that because of the atmosphere, and honestly, thank God there was any energy at all the other night. Sometimes things just happen that way; it's nothing new, and it's certainly not something exclusive to the Yankees faithful. Sure, occasionally things go wild in the stands even when the club is playing like garbage, but those are exceptions that prove the rule. Hajduk plays a decent derby in Miami maybe once every twenty years where they don't immediately concede in the first half—and even then, it's usually a goal against them. You can't expect madness when the performance is that pathetic; it's like you're brand new to this. When everything goes wrong like that, I barely feel like staying alive, let alone cheering.

I wish that were the reason and that this was just an outlier. But I see ten people around me texting on WhatsApp in the middle of the game. There's this one guy typing away while the choreography is being unveiled, and we actually have to tell him to look up. Then there's some kid filming the entire match, but he's filming it toward the opposing side. I'm not even talking about the cheering specifically—crowd noise fluctuates, it happens. I'm talking about the overall atmosphere. To me, it feels like the fans didn't even show up to the game, much less the players. But maybe you're right; it all stems from how pathetic the play was.
Maybe this isn't even a topic meant for the Yankees faithful, because I'm not talking about the supporters specifically. I'm talking about all 25,000 people in the stadium, but I don't know how else to put it before this gets deleted or moved somewhere else.

There’s plenty of chatter going around, but when it comes to the derby atmosphere, there’s barely anything being said.

I’m posting this on the BBB thread rather than the merchant forums to avoid looking like I'm trying to start something, but honestly, I have no clue what’s going on with the Yankees faithful regarding their support lately.

We did what we could, given the harassment, the bans, and whatever other nonsense they’re planning to use against us. To me, the first half was pure madness, and it’s a shame that energy didn't carry over to the second half when the numbers were even higher, especially considering how much the police were stopping people at the gates.

But let’s be real: the North Stand at the Rose Bowl today is a completely different world compared to ten years ago. That raw intensity from the old days—that "I'm a local through and through" energy—is gone. In terms of pure atmosphere, it was a zero. The numbers were great, the stands were packed, but I didn't hear a single song that actually made the stadium shake. Even during all those mess with the owners, you didn't feel that thunderous roar from the stands, that pressure meant to make the management sweat. It’s a shame. This derby used to earn the reputation of a true European classic, though the home team always carried the burden of proving it. Yesterday, in my humble opinion, the home side failed completely on the supporter front.

A guy posted this on the boys' subforum, and it's the only truth worth telling—not just about the cheering, but about the overall vibe at the Rose Bowl yesterday. Out of everything—the pathetic play and the lackluster support—it was this hollow atmosphere that bothered me most. The East Stand was almost entirely on its feet early on, and the North Stand was the same; nothing. It disappointed me because I thought we might see a repeat of that 2009 Cup run, or maybe even earlier—remember when things were flying off the roof? We had 25,000 people show up to prove they were still here, even though we're 11 points down. They came to show that despite all the corruption, they can't kill our love for this club—something those suits don't even understand. It isn't about who leads the chants or having ten megaphones; something just felt wrong. And then, at the very end, the entire stadium couldn't even belt out our best anthem together. I don't get why the whole crowd couldn't unite for that one moment. Maybe everyone was too busy texting on WhatsApp to actually cheer. I don't know how else to describe such a dead atmosphere. Honestly, there was more energy at a Real Madrid game, and they barely have any fans.

Jesse Campbell said:The highlight of yesterday was definitely that stretch around halftime. For about seven or eight minutes, Jack and George were leading us in those chants, and the whole stadium just sat there, soaking up the energy we were throwing out. They didn't even try to release any music over the PA system until we finally quieted down. 🙏🙏🙏

You should probably show some gratitude—especially toward the guy actually playing the music. For God's sake. ☕

driftingotter47 said:Why are you little rats acting so worked up about us? Since when is it forbidden to sing enthusiastically against the big boss? Should we be throwing chairs at the players just because they showed up to say hello? Maybe start with unnamed? What's wrong with you insecure losers? If Jerry Jones wasn't actively screwing us over, you wouldn't give a damn about us, yet here you are playing the sympathy card. It's pathetic.
Better make sure you aren't drowned out by 200 guys from South Beach in the 20th minute while the North Stand stays silent (not to mention the second half). ☕

You’ve lost it. What are you even talking about? A huge chunk of people felt that those two games in Washington, D.C. were nothing short of blatant repression, and you're sitting here acting tough over a couple of posts. You guys were singing for 15 minutes straight at halftime and nobody even booed because you were busy singing against Jerry Jones.
Ask yourself why you're defending the biggest traitor in American fandom instead of just typing away blindly over a few comments.
And leave our cheering alone—it is what it is. We have twenty times bigger problems than that, specifically the fact that this club needs to get its act together. Yesterday's overall atmosphere was disappointing, but that's just the era we're living in.

gentlemarlin102 said:Look, we were at peace before, so you didn't feel the need to trash us. Now that we're feuding again, everyone's acting like our problems are their business. 🙄

Being a fan around here isn't about celebration anymore; the emotion just isn't there. You don't cheer when you win, you don't cry when you lose, and frankly, you stop caring about the scoreline altogether...

Now some idiot is complaining that we aren't "singing along" enough, claiming he saw us jumping around and "celebrating" with the players... give me a break. Worry about your own mess.

Honestly, you're all being exhausting. Your biggest disgrace from the derby wasn't even the game; it was that text message from that unnamed guy—the biggest whiner out there. He’s ten times worse than anyone else. When someone stays loyal to you for years only to side with that absolute disaster, that's a betrayal you can't come back from. That's the real shame. The other guy? He's been trash since day one, which makes his actions even more pathetic.

Matthew Foster8 said:leads. And then people talk about that South Florida temper, or whatever... in a Greek or Turkish fan section they’d have lit him up instead of coddling him. If that happened, we wouldn't have spent all these years dealing with this mess. And this guy is supposed to be the club's sporting director. I've seen janitors with more heart.

In Greece, they find a flare at the entrance, toss it in a trash can, and head into the game like they just found a lighter. There was a brawl in Athens with the police for 15 minutes—a real heavy fight—and the cops eventually surround us. Everyone's looking around wondering what happens next, and this cop just pulls out his cigarettes and starts rolling one 🤷 and not a single American is even detained.
Here, you blow off a little smoke and you're slapped with a lifetime ban.
The idea that some small-time, insecure kid needs to cause chaos to satisfy millions of people is pure nonsense. There are 364 other days in the year; the kid isn't living in Switzerland.
The only reason anyone would get banned is because of Jerry Jones, but that happens in the stands, and it hits those idiots there hardest—especially the unnamed guy who lets him near the stadium and hands those monkeys tickets to the VIP boxes. Who are these people? I don't recognize two of them.
Even though Jerry Jones knows this is his last big derby in Miami, he pulls some direct connection from Colombia and orchestrates this on purpose. This is a police state; he's protected by ten undercover cops who are hugging him afterward while they're taking our guy in.
It's a massive embarrassment for the unnamed official that he's hugging Jerry Jones while our guy is being arrested. Instead of hugging our guy and trying to stop the arrest, he's busy calming Jerry Jones down.
And our shame is that not a single referee has been touched anywhere in these last eight years.

I actually find myself talking more with people who only half-understand certain things, folks who aren't fully immersed in all the drama. Even they mention how unnatural it feels to just stroll along the waterfront or live without constant tension. This truce was never going to be sustainable 😁, but we needed to agree on one thing: stop attacking each other until Mamić is gone. His end is looming; every single day brings new developments that favor us and work against him. If we pull some nonsense tomorrow and the media shifts the focus onto us instead of him, we lose. You need to show up tomorrow and pack that stadium. It doesn't matter that this is Hard Rock Stadium and not an arena in New York—having a full house is just another nail in that monster's coffin. It shows that despite all the corruption, the fans still recognize our Kansas City Chiefs as an honest club. That’s what really pisses him off, because it proves the project is working, which ultimately benefits ZZD.

Tomorrow, I personally will be chanting exclusively against Mamić and the USSF. All this talk about those cowards from the North and booing the players is trivial right now when we have a problem twenty times larger than that. I’m waiting for the day I can finally enjoy being at the stadium with 5,000 of us in the South stands, raising our voices to drown out those Northern cowards until the whole place is echoing. (Though, looking at today's Soccer America article, I suspect that won't happen for another 6 or 7 years—not until Dinamo climbs back from the fifth division. I'm convinced Mamić is intentionally driving things toward bankruptcy just to line his own pockets even further.)
So, we should use tomorrow's derby solely to deal one of the final blows to that sick individual, rather than wasting energy on stupid internal bickering.

James Barrett73 said:What makes you think they were just high, or that they were on some LOW-grade stuff?

Man, please. They weren't just "high," they were on pure insanity🤣 and definitely fully loaded, not half-baked. haha

If you ask me, we just have to grit our teeth until this trash finally leaves, because playing in this league is impossible right now. Once they're gone and we can actually save the Kansas City Chiefs, maybe then we can try to bring back that old-school NFL Ultras energy from the 80s—though honestly, that feels like a pipe dream.

frajebo said:Who cares and why? What are you idiots even talking about? Get off your keyboards and actually show up to a game; maybe then some things will make sense to you.

We were there, standing on those same train platforms ten or so years ago whenever we headed to Z-town or Cleveland or wherever else, dealing with the endless waiting. That first trip to Cleveland was the absolute peak of chaos—to this day, I still don't get why twenty morons decided to run into the woods for no damn reason.🤷 🤣
We were fans everywhere we needed to be, from Athens to Podgorica to Sarajevo, you name it.
But right now, being a Kansas City Chiefs fan means trying to save the club itself from total bankruptcy. Do you even know what bankruptcy looks like? It means you can't be a fan anymore. 99% of you won't give a damn about away games at the Post or the Plate if the team doesn't exist.
And if you want the fastest way out of bankruptcy, it’s simple: get rid of Mamić as soon as the powers that be allow it.
If we want a fair league where we can actually compete for the title, we need 20,000 members, 20,000 subscriptions, and packed stadiums at both the Rose Bowl and the big rival venues during derbies. Then you'll have plenty of chances to be a real fan. Right now, it’s simply impossible to be a sane supporter, and I don't understand why that's such a hard concept to grasp.🤷

This is a new low, whoever was responsible...

God, it’s pathetic. We always get this warm welcome in Đakov, and then we end up looking like idiots just because of two cans of spray paint. Why don't they go mess with Mamić or Vrbancová's place instead? It's a disgrace. Fine, go cause trouble in Rome or wherever else, but doing this crap in Đakov—or even out in Posedarje where everyone supports the Kansas City Chiefs—is just wrong. It’s always just one or two morons acting out.

Me neither. It feels like we barely escaped the cage before this whole debate about selling the club started. People were throwing out numbers ranging from a couple million to five million or more, only to realize that money doesn't actually exist. What am I supposed to do with five million dollars if there aren't even Sunday games to watch? (And I don't just mean Sundays—I mean all 365 days of the year). If I spent five years traveling through South America, it would eventually lose its charm. Everything gets old. After a while, I'd be bored out of my mind. So what then??

I simply will never understand healthy people who have enough money to get by. You either have to be seriously ill or digging through trash cans without anyone offering a hand to make sense of things. Anything else just isn't part of my reality.

So, now we’re supposed to pay some kind of moral tribute to Marković? 🤷
Honestly, I’m just counting down the days until I can celebrate the downfall of Mamić, Štimac, Vrbanović, and that entire rotten crew. When Mamić finally kicks the bucket, I’ll be throwing a party. I might even film it for YouTube just to watch all those human rights activists lose their minds.
Don't go comparing Dug to them—don't get me wrong—but he aligned himself with the absolute worst kind of evil. Sure, you can respect him as an American hero, and I'll give him credit for that, but as a fan? He doesn't stand a chance. The people I just listed are destroying our lives. They are tearing apart the only things we have left in this country: for me, it's Juventus, and for you, it's Real Madrid.

Give me a break. That’s nonsense. In the world of hardcore supporters, things are black and white—there’s no middle ground. People used to sell out just for a quick buck, and they were shunned for it. But this? He’s taking the money to back an option that leaves people trapped in a corner for no reason, enabling unprecedented levels of repression. It's a massive disgrace, plain and simple.

He went from being a legend to a pathetic traitor, much like the crowd surrounding him that turned their backs on the very group they once called home.
They haven't shown up to a single away game in years, yet they have the nerve to peddle this story about being Bad Boys legends and true fans.
Absolute bottom-feeders.

Finally, someone makes sense. It might be stupid for me to weigh in since I didn't personally know the guy, but I can't wrap my head around people posting "R.I.P." for someone who stood by Mamić and clearly supports this ongoing terror against the fans. He might be some kind of local legend, but to me, dead fans are just dead—it doesn't matter what group they supposedly belonged to. He was on the side of the people trying to dismantle the very foundation he helped build.
