Way to go, guys! This is one for the history books!

Daniel Johnson46 said:>>That's easily one of the worst traits a supporter can have. On my way back to the hotel after the match, I ran into Branka Ramljak, and she actually tells me how heavy the atmosphere feels—that she can't believe we aren't celebrating the goal. I tried explaining to her that it’s perfectly normal; honestly, we should be cheering for Dinamo to stay in third place as long as that guy is running the show. I gave her an analogy about back when Ciro was coaching and even the most die-hard fans at the stadium were just rooting for anyone else to win. Like when Kranjcar used to shake the foundations for us. But this current situation with Mamic? It’s three times worse than those days. She probably finally realized why there’s zero emotion left in this place.

Think back to when Ante Vukušić scored those brilliant goals against Anderlecht in the 90th minute... how did you feel? You'd say... "Man, I don't even remember what happened next, let alone where I ended up in that moment..."

Well, when Vid scored against Ludogorets in that cursed 98th minute, the world practically collapsed for me (and I know I wasn't alone). Pair that with Ketsbaie's goal for Newcastle United in the 120th minute back in '97, the lost championships in 1990 (under Kuže) and 2004 (when Orlando handed you the title)... those are the hardest moments I carry in my life as a fan.
Then there was the Maglica goal in the 91st minute. That put a massive grin on my face—not just because, like you, I wanted it to be a draw in 2005, but because seeing that "genius" coach fail miserably while trampling over a shallow stream (specifically, a semi-pro version of Hajduk Split) was pure bliss.
In short: I'm rooting against them because I don't see Dinamo anymore; I just see him! My hats off to the guys at HHO and my colleague Svetina for providing the public with actual facts!

We're glad you've seen firsthand that such feelings are possible in a supporter's life... and may God forbid any fan or any group ever has to feel that way again...

But let's cut through the sentimentality for a second and tear apart this overly constructive, "tolerant" approach to current events. I have one politically incorrect question:

HOW ON EARTH DID YOU CHOOSE THAT EXACT ADDRESS IN NEW YORK CITY TO HOLD YOUR MEETINGS!?!? 😁 😂🙄 🤣

Charles Ward6 said:He killed this club a long time ago, and now he’s just stomping all over it—like someone crushing grapes underfoot, only much more destructive. He’s essentially crushed the soul of Real Madrid!

And honestly, I cannot wrap my head around the absolute idiots who are still standing by him, shouting things like, "Leave our sanctuary alone!"
The people who were actually young adults back during the old days know better. They remember what it was like hanging out by the bleachers after a match, ready to hand out a few slaps or fists if necessary. These current fans are just blind fools!

I won't lie and say I'm happy we got knocked out, but I am glad it happened. Why? Because this guy sold off every decent player and replaced them with these mediocre "stars" just for show. It was all theater. The atmosphere in the stadium was up with those mindless sheep, everyone chanting "Let's go!" with such enthusiasm... and then BOOM, right in the gut. That’s what you get for letting him and his cronies run everything. Well, God help us, maybe now we can actually get Real Madrid back!!

Should I even bother commenting on the coach?

THE REPRESSION HAS NEVER BEEN STRONGER, THE PERSISTENCE HAS NEVER BEEN GREATER

Of course, there is no need to discuss the puppet from Cleveland. Following the exact blueprint of his predecessor (and certainly his successor, 😁), he was more than happy to play his part in yet another sequel to "Die Hard 3"...

Brandon Anderson34 said:VISITING VIENNA... if you ask me personally—just as an individual—I’d say we need to pull off one hell of an away trip. And I mean a proper one, where everyone at and around the stadium in Vienna is frozen solid by the cold, matching our usual American standards. Why? FIRST, to show this current iteration of Real Madrid just how much privilege the players used to have back in the day, before Mamic took over everything, and what kind of army used to follow the Real Madrid players wherever they played. SECOND, to show the neutral public—or rather, just remind them of all those damn legendary runs we had—that this is a completely different club, whether we're playing with the BBB in the stands or without them. And of course, to show those THIRD-RATE guys, those Mamic loyalists, that we are still here, in far greater numbers than they think, and regardless of how long this battle lasts, the final victory will belong to the North.

If we have to secure tickets by promising Mamic we won't shout a single thing against him—and we should make that promisei, because in war, the means don't matter, only the objective 😁😁

I really hope you wrote this as a joke... 🙂

I am reiterating my previous point regarding the "general public" sitting in the West stands—a group we have absolutely zero interest in supporting, and frankly, why should we? 🙂
They simply lack that visceral sense of belonging, that deep-rooted connection to the club’s identity and its long-standing traditions. To them, the club's name is just a label, and who pulls the strings behind the scenes is irrelevant. They are merely sheep, swallowing whatever fluff the local news outlets feed them about some "elite squad" that's supposedly worth watching. They are enthusiasts of "sanitized," controlled, modern...🙂 football. Since they can't seem to enjoy high-definition Champions League broadcasts or the top European leagues from their couches, they flock to the stadium to catch a "sporting event" on the cheap—or even for free yesterday—all while desperately trying to avoid the gritty atmosphere coming from the North or East.

If I had to add anything else, it would be this: the VAST MAJORITY OF THEM WOULDN'T BE AT THE STADIUM AT ALL if:

a) ...it were raining.

b) ...the ticket wasn't dirt cheap or free (depending on who they know).

c) ...there wasn't organized transportation provided from their suburbs or cities to the stadium.

d) ...it were a domestic match rather than a big European clash.

Why on earth should we seek support from people like that???

The odds of us successfully gaining their approval are about as likely as a Gypsy taking drastic measures just to earn our forgiveness!

🙂

Thomas Clark91 said:Alright, I get the picture,

I’d draw a parallel to this specific game

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EBvx...tailpage&t=114

So, I was there at the time, sitting in the West stands. They were renovating the stadium back then—specifically the West side where they had ripped out those old press boxes and heated seats to make room for the modern upgrades and the upper tier.

Why am I bringing this up? Well, the cops had set up this makeshift command center right in the middle of the West stand, covered by some flimsy tent flaps or something. Basically, they were stationed right among us fans.

I remember heading back to my seat at halftime, walking past their little setup, and—God help me, because the angle was perfect—I caught a glimpse of the monitor. It showed Mack's face, looking completely bewildered and pointing a finger right at himself. Then I looked over toward the North Side, and sure enough, the police were moving from the bottom toward the top. You could hear the commotion from the hardcore leaders; they were going after him and his crew.

From what I gathered, they managed to clear out one group, but when they tried to drag the second group out of the stadium, the rest of the North Side was just so fired up that they wouldn't let it happen. You can see how that ended in the clip.

That was actually the grand opening of the North Stand, too. I forgot the occasion was sparked by that song about the "strange man"... so, there's the parallel.

And as you can see, most people in the stadium back then stood in solidarity with the North Side, even though over in the West where I was, there were also some of those old-school American soccer fans present.

Back then, those people in the West weren't the "true" fans, nor are they Mamić's crowd today.
They are simply people who lack that genuine sense of club loyalty and identity. To them, it doesn't matter what the club is called or who is running the show. They are sheep, swallowing whatever nonsense the local news feeds them about this "elite squad" that's worth watching. They are lovers of "refined" (controlled, modern...) 🙂 football, and since they can't enjoy Champions League or Top 5 league broadcasts in HD right now, they want to squeeze every bit of value out of a cheap—or yesterday, free—ticket to attend a "sporting event" without having to deal with the gritty atmosphere coming from the North or East sides.

It’s honestly nauseating for us, too, having to scream for seven years straight. And the worst part? These idiots actually think we enjoy this, that this yelling is our entire reason for existing. 🙂 Yeah, it's great when three hundred of us are packed into the stands and instead of cheering for our crest and our jersey, we're busy targeting the Gypsy, the Junkie, and the Profiteer... what a "thrill," right? Damn it all!

But yesterday, personally, I felt prouder than ever. As a member of the BBB, I took immense, indescribable pleasure in mocking everything being thrown at the Gypsy, the Junkie, the war-time Profiteer, and that poor soul's brother. To hell with the Gypsies at the press conference, UEFA, and the referees!

Keep pushing forward... until the end... until the last man... until victory!

Throughout this entire heartbreaking saga surrounding Kuže—with the illness and the passing—our group has truly demonstrated our character. We've shown exactly who we are and, most importantly, what kind of Dinamo we actually want to see!
Exactly the kind of club that One of Us presented to us during both of his tenures. Back in 1989-1990 and again in 2005-2006.
The belief in a club like that lives on within us, and that ideal is still achievable... though, unfortunately, without Joe...😢

But that historic sentence of his, which is already printed on the supporter building near the "mosque," is essentially history repeating itself... just think back to the corner of Draskovic's and Old Vlach in the nineties, when the graffiti read that if there were freedom and democracy, it would be Dinamo instead of America!

And it was Dinamo! And it will be Dinamo once again!

The Dugave local group bid farewell to a legendary coach at the iconic stadium, right where he promised a derby victory five years ago.

"You lifted this club to the heavens and sent the fans into a frenzy. You'll be remembered forever because you're one of us!"

"What a damn fine group of guys!" 😉 That’s how our Joe would put it, though he’d likely feel the need to correct the timeline—just for the sake of historical accuracy—noting that the event at the Dugava stadium actually went down in September 2005... making it nearly eight years ago now.

silverbear38 said:What is even the point of grinding out a million dollars in annual revenue when you can just offload a star player in ten minutes and walk away with ten times that amount? It’s basic math, really. Why settle for steady incremental growth when you can hit the jackpot on a single transaction? 🤣

Spot on!

The core objective of The Brain isn't actually about producing high-quality soccer or fostering an electric atmosphere in the stands and around the club. It’s something else entirely.

Build a player for free, sell them at a premium, and then sit back while you collect a percentage dictated by a binding civic contract. It’s a simple formula, really.

He just keeps bringing up that total point gap between us and the Kansas City Chiefs over the last eight seasons... like it’s some kind of holy scripture.

If you want to point fingers at those empty seats, you’ve got plenty of targets to choose from. Sometimes it’s just an inadequate stadium where you can't even find a decent spot to grab a beer without bumping elbows. Other times, it’s the scheduling—like back during that 2008/09 season when they had us playing on Sundays as if it were a standard workday instead of a day off. And nowadays? Well, you can blame that small, rowdy minority of hooligans.
