Look, I’m still absolutely floored by this movie. I don't even know how to put it into words, but everything just clicked for me—from the dialogue to the visual storytelling, including that intentionally grueling, slow burn at the start and an ending I totally didn't see coming but was genuinely happy with. Every single main character has their own deep-seated motivations, which makes even the "villains" feel more like protagonists in their own right.
Honestly, I went in expecting something completely different and got blindsided, but man, I loved being blindsided.
It’s so much easier to just be a hater and nitpick every little thing, but I was having such a blast.
Still a solid 10/10 for me.

Before that, maybe hit up XYZ—as my colleague Amanda Evans2 would tell you, it really just depends on whether I'm in the mood for some local comfort food or Chinese... 170 minutes is quite a stretch, and I find myself gravitating toward shorter films more and more as I get older, which is an interesting realization...
Seriously, I am beyond satisfied with this film.
I'd recommend it to anyone. Even my friends who usually hate movies said it was great, giving it at least an 8/10.
Just don't go in there with a bunch of preconceived notions or massive expectations; and yeah, forget about hitting up the AMC, it doesn't make sense to go anywhere else (I was there yesterday alone) because you're going to have a blast regardless. Just clear your head and let the movie take you along for the ride.
As for the runtime and how long it lasts.
Trust me, if a movie is actually good, I don't care if it runs for five hours. Time absolutely flew by for me yesterday and I was actually bummed when it ended.
Now, don't get me wrong, I generally hate movies that drag on forever because most modern films don't even earn their 120 minutes, let alone anything over that, but here, something is happening practically every single second.
Oh, and one more thing. Yesterday was my first time heading to the AMC in a while, and damn it, I immediately ran into the biggest idiot in cinema history. This guy was just constantly whining from the trailers all the way through the first 20 minutes of the film (after that, he just did these weird hand gestures 😁). Is that the kind of moron that frequents theaters these days, or did I just happen to sit next to the biggest clown alive on my first outing? 🤣
