Generally speaking, when it comes to power supplies—especially since there’s only one single review out there—is this thing actually decent or just some cheap junk? Because if I have to stretch my budget by another 500-$200 just to grab a high-quality new unit, I might honestly just hold off until I can scrape enough together for that too.

I'm looking at putting together some kind of upgrade for my current rig, and I'm stuck wondering if I actually need to ditch my power supply or if it can hang on for dear life.

For the last four years, this setup has managed to pull through: an FX 6300, 8GB of RAM, and an R9 280 OC.

My plan is to jump over to a Ryzen 1600, bump the RAM up to 16GB, and grab an RTX 3070/3080—plus, I'll definitely be doing some overclocking on that Ryzen.

Six months just isn't going to cut it for me. Is there any way to stretch this out over two or three years? I honestly can't swing monthly payments that high, but at the same time, I actually want a decent PC so I'm not stuck buying a whole new rig every single time technology moves an inch. For instance, I know Best Buy offers financing for up to 60 months.

I really dig this configuration, though. I think I’ll hold off for a few more suggestions before I pull the trigger and decide.

Alright, so I’m looking to pull the trigger on a gaming rig for $1667. I don't need an SSD, and I'm definitely not looking for Windows, a monitor, or any peripherals like a keyboard and mouse—just the tower itself and whatever hardware is packed inside. My plan is to head out and grab this thing within the next three or four days, most likely over the weekend. Since I'm based in New York City, I don't mind driving down to a local shop to pick it up in person. I don't really have a specific store in mind, as long as they're reliable, accept American credit cards, and offer a decent installment plan 😁 (I can go up to $1800 max on credit, but anything beyond that is totally out of the question)

Look, you could just have someone film your games and put together a highlight reel on a thumb drive. Send those clips over to teams in the G League or even up in the NBA. Who knows? Maybe they'll actually reach out—or maybe they won't.

If you're hunting for managers, go ahead and check out Indeed or whatever site you prefer. But honestly, if you haven't managed to land a manager or someone in a similar role by now—just take my word for it—you’re probably hitting a dead end.
