Build advice - Budget around $350

Hey everyone! Since I haven't actually owned a PC for a little while now, I’m totally out of the loop regarding what everything costs on the market lately...
So, I'm trying to figure out what kind of rig I can put together for $833, and just to be clear, I don't need a mouse, a keyboard, a monitor, or even a printer. I don't really need an HDD either since I've already got two lying around, though if you guys think it'd be smarter to just buy a fresh one, please let me know, because I've got a decent amount of stuff on my current drives—including some old leftovers from Windows XP...
It would be awesome if we could go with an Intel build, maybe something like a Phenom setup, and I'd really love a quiet power supply too (somewhere in the 450-500W range)... I'll mostly be using this machine for watching movies, listening to music, and browsing the web, but obviously I want it to handle relatively newer games smoothly on at least medium settings and make sure HD video playback is seamless...
