I’ve been watching way more movies lately. As for series? If they don't grab me right away, I'm out. But man, have they become more artistic and detailed than movies? They really have.
Take the cinematography and character depth in Breaking Bad, the set design in Boardwalk Empire, or the visuals in Utopia—absolutely top-tier. And the extreme character development in True Detective? Just pure creativity. Then there's Shameless and House of Cards. Seriously, they're setting entirely new standards.

edit : Ujebote, Americans gave Leviathan the award for Best Foreign Language Film!! 😁 What a pleasant little surprise right when I least expected it!! I was dead certain Ida would take it, maybe because of those tense relations between the US and them... such a refreshing twist 👍

Everything about Birdman hits the mark 😁 but when it comes to the music...
For Best Original Score, I’m definitely rooting for (and hoping for!) Hans Zimmer. If there was one thing that felt totally wasted in Interstellar, it was definitely the music 🙏 🙏

I just don't see how Boyhood takes home Best Director or Best Picture... though, I guess they could pull off the screenplay win.
Edit: Actually, looking at this, both movies could technically win Best Picture since they're split up into two different categories:
Boyhood is up for Best Drama, while Birdman is in the running for Birdman for Best Musical or Comedy 😁
