This is what I had in mind for . I’m looking at Monroe under 15.5 against the favorite—mostly because from what I can see, he dropped 22 points on Orlando.
Sean Sullivan87 said:I was just watching—James is definitely playing, but he looks totally indifferent about taking shots. It’s like he’s constantly worried about messing up for Pierce, even while cruising toward 26 points. He seems pretty comfortable whenever things go 🙂
If Miami blows it tonight, I’m officially retiring from this thread—I’ve been riding one single NBA parlay for seven straight tickets now, just waiting for them to actually pull through...
I was all over them at the start of the season, but what they’re pulling lately is just painful. Defense? Nonexistent. Offense? It’s like they forgot how to score entirely.
Why on earth does Washington have to play them today? If it were anyone else, we’d be in real trouble—this Boston squad is just a disaster without Jaylen Brown
If you look at all those games where they were supposed to be heavy favorites, most of them ended up being decided by just a couple of buckets or so—take OKC against Washington last night, or Houston...
I'm just trying to make the point that with this condensed schedule, fatigue is a real factor. Nobody’s really out there trying to run up the score or play overly aggressive against an opponent they know they can beat anyway.
Chris Bosh needs more minutes—especially if LeBron James sits out—and honestly, Paul Millsap could probably see an uptick too. And then there’s Kobe Bryant; he’ll take more time if it means proving people wrong. That comment about him being the 7th best player in the league right now really stung him, I think. Even Dirk Nowitzki might see a bit less action
