Sean Sullivan87 said:I’ve got a question here... you laid everything out perfectly and I decided to follow your lead on this one, but there's just one thing that isn't sitting right with me... if big-name sportsbooks like DraftKings have all this same data, why on earth are they still sitting at 1.75? 🤷 It makes zero sense, and honestly, something feels fishy about it... I mean, these bookies aren't idiots, because based on this breakdown for Detroit, 1.40 would be a total gift, yet they're stuck at 1.75 😲

I put my money down too... maybe those odds are that high simply because Detroit isn't one of those flashy teams everyone obsesses over, you know, like Miami, OKC, the Lakers, or Dallas? Let's just hope luck is on our side.

Toronto vs Boston 2
New York Knicks vs Lakers 2
Wall J. (-16.5+) Over Miami more
Chicago Bulls 2
Detroit Pistons vs New Jersey Nets 1

☕

hahaha, so he's got the exact same thing rattling around in his head... what a coincidence... I might throw something down if it were a bigger play, but honestly, I have no clue what that would even be...

I’ve been sitting on this for a while and haven't felt the need to bring them up, but honestly, things have finally reached a point where it's just getting straight-up nasty...

Casey White13 said:My parlay was actually looking solid until those over bets on Dwyane Wade and Joe Johnson completely fell through at the last second. 🙂

What a joke, because I went ahead and took Atlanta under 185.5 right before they blew past 200 points.

Can anyone drop a decent link for the Orlando Magic - Miami game?

Thanks
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Well, after that depressing loss on the double chance, I just headed over to the betting shop... honestly, Listic follows everyone else's picks more than I actually play them myself... so let's see how this goes.

Orlando Magic - Miami Heat 2 1.65

Cleveland - Clippers 2 1.50

Memphis - Minnesota Timberwolves 1 1.35

New Orleans (+8.5) - Chicago 2 1.85

Atlanta (-18.5) - Indiana Under 1.85

Wall J. (-16.5) - Washington, D.C. / New York City Over 1.70

Total Odds: 19.4402

I'm really hoping this one hits because, let's face it, we're all looking at basically the same games, except I've gone ahead and piled them all into one massive heap... it's just a small bet anyway... GOOD LUCK!!!

Don't even sweat it... this is just the beginning, and honestly, isn't it obvious that the Orlando Magic are going to end up crashing and burning eventually?

Nicholas Chase34 said:Alright, here is why I'm taking the over:

A few days ago, C. Anthony decided to stop being so selfish and actually started looking for his teammate Amare, and honestly, the Knicks are playing way better because of it.

Amare is your classic home-court player; he loves performing in front of his own fans, where his scoring average jumps by about 3.3 points compared to when he's on the road.

Let’s take a quick look at his recent outings. On January 28th against Houston, he dropped 23 points (shooting 10-20), then followed that up against Detroit with 15 points in 30.5 minutes (5-11 shooting)—he could have easily scored more, but there was no need since the Knicks were already cruising toward a win.

Then the Bulls came to the Garden, and Amare absolutely exploded for a season-high 34 points (16-27) against a tough defender like Goozer. After that, we headed to Boston, where you wouldn't necessarily expect much, yet they ran into Garnett and Bass, and he put up 16 points (7-15).
Before this, the Knicks hosted the Nets, and Amare notched 17 points in just 25 minutes; he probably would have gone higher if he hadn't run into foul trouble and spent so much time riding the bench.

Today they face Utah, and their defense at the power forward position is looking pretty shaky, which is weird to me because Millsap is usually such a solid defender. But whatever, the numbers don't lie—the Jazz allow nearly 50% shooting from that spot when playing on the road.
Just look at how opposing power forwards have been scoring lately:
Jan 25. Bargnani 25 points
Jan 27. Odom 19 points
Jan 28. J. Thompson 14 points
Jan 30. Aldridge 25 points
Feb 1. Griffin 31 points
Feb 2. Lee 23 points
Feb 4. Gasol 24 points

Opposing bigs get to the free-throw line constantly against Utah because Millsap (averaging 3.4 fouls per game) and the rest of the crew aren't afraid to play physical.

Last season, Amare tore it up against Utah, dropping 34 points at home (12-15 FG, 7-7 FT) and 22 points on the road (5-11 FG, 11-12 FT).

As you can see, Amare gets to the charity stripe all the time, and I don't see any reason why he won't get there at least 3 or 4 times today.

To me, these are pretty solid reasons to take the over at this line; unless Amare has an absolute nightmare shooting night or gets buried in foul trouble, he hits this. I highly doubt either team will blow them out enough to force him to sit the whole game.

Very nice... thanks.

Nicholas Chase34 said:Pick of the day:
New Jersey - Chicago
pick: under 191.5 points @ 1.85

Amare Stoudemire

pick: over 19.5 points @ 1.85

☕

Moses, can you please explain why you're taking the Amare Stoudemire over? I mean, sure, they dropped the margin by a couple of buckets, but looking at the trends, this guy is constantly hitting the under, even when it's set lower than this... I was actually leaning toward the under myself, so maybe you can talk some sense into me and convince me otherwise....

thanks

fadedcyclist4 said:I seriously cannot place a bet on Rose at DraftKings to save my life. I can bet on every other player without an issue, but him? He shows up in the lineup, but every single time I try to lock it in, it tells me his odds dropped to 1.70, and even after I accept the change, it just fails again.
It’s been four hours of this nonsense and nothing has changed. Is anyone else dealing with this glitch? If anyone actually manages to get a Rose bet through from here on out, please let me know. Thanks!

The exact same thing is happening to me, and I literally went to try and place it right after reading this... it's clearly their mistake... hopefully they fix it soon...

indiana hendi
atlanta 2
and what do you all honestly think about Cleveland hitting over 86.5??
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Look, we’ve completely veered off track here... this is supposed to be about the NBA, so why on earth can't we just stick to the topic and stop making everything else about us?😛

Casey White13 said:Love is driving me absolutely insane; how does he miss two straight shots in situations he usually nails without breaking a sweat?

I'm taking Iguodala over. 🙂

Johnson is also looking like he'll clear that 17.5 line. 🙂

It all looks like a lock, but is there any chance Atlanta can actually turn this around?
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Good luck to everyone out there today... I have this gut feeling that things are actually going to turn around and go our way for once...😍

urbandrifter10 said:this is exactly what I’ve been telling you all, honestly, we’ve only lost five so far, but by the end of this game we’re looking at at least ten losses, and what’s even more infuriating is that my entire parlay is absolutely trashed because of Charlotte and those last 90 minutes where they won't deliver unless they play both games against Detroit

I’m betting on Charlotte too, but it looks like I might actually have a chance to fix this mess if things go my way.

😉
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
This is absolutely disgusting... I’ve been hedging my bets on Indiana across all the main lines, but if Miami can somehow choke away a 17-point lead, who's to say Toronto won't pull the same kind of stunt? Let's try to stay positive, I guess. 😉
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
The whole Toronto scene is just completely falling apart now...
