@saugaro @Jerry Robinson56 someone else actually credited this to James Lasta. They won't call it plagiarism, but let's not pretend otherwise either.
I used Kdx 125 as the lead-in.
Something like this, chatterboxes.
Good evening, everyone.
Welcome to the 30+ party at the music lounge in Frankfurt Central Station.
Tonight I'm your djane. We’ll be heavy on the 80s, lighter on the 90s and 70s, and almost nothing from any other decade. We're spinning vinyl again tonight, and don't forget—just like always, I've got a little block of sets with 3 to 5 tracks tucked away. So listen up, guys—young and old—pick a lady to dance with while you still have the eyes to see her. Back in the 80s, plenty of clubs had those kinds of sets. But it wasn't all better in the 80s; tonight I’m free to pick the ladies and the guys (cue the collective groan from the crowd), and of course, ladies picking ladies and guys picking guys (an even louder groan, if it gets loud enough, I'll know there are plenty of gay folks here and we'll lean harder into ABBA, Erasure, and some Fgth remixes). What *was* much better in the 80s and 90s was the price of drinks. To honor the good old days, our long drink of the night is a Campari Orange for 6 DM—or as they say now, 3 bucks. Help yourselves. Most of you won't have parents waiting at home to smell whatever you've been drinking, but if anyone does, that's just more reason to have another round.
Don't forget to submit your wish list. I'll try to work some in, but you know I can't play everything. The next party is in two weeks, right here.
Listen, move with me into the strange world of 80's Dance Music.
Here's nothing as IT seems , where Everthing Has his Place and wheres a Place for Everthing and anything Can Happend... ;-)
