steelangler88, I honestly think my nose looks perfectly fine. Maybe if you took some photos from a bit further away that showed my whole face instead of just a close-up, you’d see what I mean, because it really does look good to me.

As for the lymphatic drainage, all of my friends have gone through it. They told me the same thing, too. It’s basically like going to physical therapy after having surgery on your leg.
It’s this super gentle massage designed to move the lymph through those tiny channels—I don't know, it's a whole science, isn't it? If someone doesn't actually know what they're doing, they can seriously mess you up.
But it really helps reduce swelling, helps the nose settle into its new shape faster, and all that. Plus, if anyone is feeling congested and struggling to breathe properly, the drainage can help clear things up.
The clinic actually referred me to a beauty specialist over on Martićev, so I gave them a call and asked about the $83 treatment.
Then my friends passed along the number for a lady who has been specializing in this for twenty years. It's the $50 treatment.
I'm supposed to do ten sessions in total.
And tomorrow is my third one.
Does anyone here go for lymphatic drainage sessions? My nurses and doctor actually recommended I try it, so I’ve decided to give it a shot. I'll be sure to check back in and let you all know how it works for me in about nine days.
Mine was off by just a few millimeters, so he ended up centering it. You'll probably deal with a little bit of bone soreness, but honestly, it’s nothing to worry about too much :P
Grace Thompson34 said:Sophia Booth35, you say your nose isn't small, but looking at your profile, it actually looks tiny and cute!😍When your doctor mentioned that your face was too large for such a small nose, what exactly did he mean by facial width? I've heard people make similar comments before, but I can never quite wrap my head around what they actually mean by that...

Well, I guess that's just how it turned out in the photo.
And honestly, I have no idea what he meant specifically. I have a round, chubby face—no matter how much weight I lose, my face stays puffy and lacks any real definition in the cheekbones or jawline. Because of that, a small nose just doesn't seem to balance everything out properly, does it? It certainly doesn't suit the long, narrow look I was always hoping to achieve.
Maria Hall92, you really did a killer job "fixing" him up!
It’s not that my nose is actually small, but since the photos are all shot at different scales, I guess that might be why it looks that way.
Yeah, the profile looks absolutely fantastic. Woo-hoo!
And look, I’m fully aware that things might not go perfectly right from the jump. I’ll just be sitting tight and waiting patiently.
Why on earth are we only getting links instead of actual photos? 😕

Hey girls, here is my old nose.
It’s not like you couldn't find me in real life, but I just can't bring myself to post a full face shot on a forum like this. My head is tilted slightly in the photo, and if I were to upload a complete picture, people would immediately notice from my facial features—specifically my lips—that my nose had been crooked before.
Basically, the bone was off by a few millimeters, there were two bumps making it look wider, and the tip had that potato shape.

Now, here is the new one:

The bone is straightened, those bumps are smoothed out, and the tip is smaller. Since straightening the bone naturally makes the nose look longer, the surgeon actually shortened it a little so it wouldn't hang too low over my lip.
The main issue right now—which is supposedly just temporary—is my nostrils. Can you see them in the last photo? One sits higher while the other is lower. I have to wait until they remove the stitches before the higher nostril can finally relax and settle. Honestly, the asymmetry looks way more obvious in the photo than it does in person, and I have no idea why that is.
If things don't balance out within twelve months, I am going back under the knife, but I'll be seeing a different surgeon, of course.
But everyone keeps telling me not to get ahead of myself, so I guess I'll just have to be patient.
To be perfectly clear, I actually think this nose looks much prettier than my old one did.
Plus, I'm still quite swollen, and the doctor mentioned that once the swelling goes down, the nose should look even slimmer.
Starting Thursday, I'm heading to lymphatic drainage sessions, which is supposed to help speed up the whole recovery process.

The tiny, unnatural, pointless nose jobs he does just aren't my style... no thanks... though I wonder who actually likes 😉

I actually had a consultation with him myself. My nose isn't small to begin with, and he was incredibly blunt, telling me right away that it wouldn't end up looking "small" because my face is too large and round for that sort of thing.

I’m planning to post some photos tomorrow, both the old ones and the recent ones. Even then, Glumičić mentioned that what I have now isn't even close to how it will look after everything is finished. I’m still not entirely happy with the results, but at least we’ll be able to see all "my different stages."

As for his technical expertise regarding breathing and respiratory function, I really can't say. I don't have any experience in that area, nor did I bother to ask about it.
I’m feeling completely lost right now.
But honestly, let me just say this first: a huge congratulations to everyone who just went under the knife!

As for me, I actually got caught on camera at a party yesterday, so as soon as those photos hit my inbox, boom—I'm posting my nose transformation side-by-side.
Maria Hall92 said:So, about four days after I finally pulled the mold, I ended up cutting the thread. Should I have waited longer? Maybe. But at that point, I just felt it was time to move forward. 😁 And I just kept pulling and pulling at it, over and over again. 😁 Oh man... everything just went completely sideways on me. Is it just me, or does life sometimes decide to throw every single obstacle in your path all at once? Honestly, I’m just sitting here wondering how things could spiral this quickly.

Oh my goodness, I honestly have goosebumps all over my skin right now.
Wait, what exactly do you mean by that? Are we really going to just gloss over everything that happened without any clarification?
I can't even begin to see my own ends from here, and honestly, even if I could, would I ever actually dare to go through with it?
What on earth would you even do if your nose suddenly started unraveling like a cheap knitted sweater? 😍

Glushac told me yesterday that my clock is basically ticking down for the next four or five weeks, and I can't help but wonder if he's actually right about how fast things are moving?
And now I find myself just counting down the days... much like how Sanader used to wait around in those baggy sweats.
Exactly, once those sutures fall out, how am I supposed to know when they're actually gone?
I’m basically just sitting here waiting for them to drop out because that’s when my nasal bridges are supposedly going to level out. Right now, I’m totally stuck because the stitches are still holding everything in place—one side feels more tightly anchored than the other, which is why one bridge is sitting higher than the rest.
Seven weeks????? Oh man, noooooo. I honestly don't think I could wait that long. I just want my nasal bridges to be perfectly symmetrical right now!div>
Maria Hall92 said:Hey girls, does anyone here smoke? I really feel the urge to light up... it’s been almost two weeks since my surgery, and honestly, I could really go for a cigarette along with some beers or a glass of wine 😁. Has anyone else gone back to smoking after their procedure?

June 7th at 2:00 AM—last cigarette.
June 7th at 8:00 AM—surgery.
June 8th at 6:00 AM—first cigarette.
And ever since then, I've been smoking like a chimney, just like I have for the last 15 years.
Honestly, I think I’ve officially gone public with the photos, mostly because my inbox is absolutely overflowing with messages from you all!
Just give me a few days to get myself together; I’m still dealing with some swelling and looking a bit blue, plus I can't exactly snap the perfect shot by myself.
I haven't quite figured out who to invite over to my place to take them, and let's be real, I am definitely not setting up a full-blown photoshoot in a Starbucks.
Patience is a virtue, right?
My friends won't stop teasing me. They keep pointing out my nose and my eyes... as if they have any clue what I actually paid to get all of this fixed 😍
Honestly, my nose looks just like it used to, and it’s not like they noticed anything was off before I went under the knife.
And then there are my eyes—it was just a minor little tweak, but they were clearly expecting some massive, Hollywood-style transformation.
Now, they just won't let it go and keep making fun of me 😍
🙂
I’ve finally been out in public since yesterday.
The discomfort is honestly minimal—it isn't even really "pain" in the traditional sense, more just this strange pulsing, throbbing, and tingling sensation.
And my nose didn't hurt at all, aside from the little stinging sensations from the tiny abrasions on the day they removed the packing.
So... considering everything I was bracing myself for, this has turned out to be way better than amazing!
I honestly feel so bad that I didn't just go through with this a long time ago.
Honestly, I was never actually insecure about my nose in person. If you saw me face-to-face, it was actually fine, even with its little quirks—like that tiny bump on the left side, those two slight thickenings, and the slightly bulbous tip—but oh my god, the PHOTOS!!! It was a nightmare. I’m in my mid-thirties now, and looking back at my entire life, I can count maybe five photos where I don't look downright terrible; they weren't "ugly" per se, just "okay-ish" at best.
It wasn't that I spent my nights crying over an unattractive nose, but I definitely found myself craving a newer, more refined version of my profile.
And honestly? I just want to make sure that when I finally look back at my wedding photos, I won't be cringing at how I look. 😍
(By the way, there's no wedding on the horizon yet, nor is there a groom, but hey, a girl can dream, right?)
But if I could fly high on a cloud of happiness right now, I absolutely would! Looking back, my only real regret is that I didn't just go through with it years ago.
Sophia Harris96, what you're aiming for is actually pretty "dangerous."
I have a friend who saw someone else's breast augmentation and convinced herself she wanted that exact same look, but when the moment came... after the surgery was done and she finally got home to look at her results, they were a completely different shape and size than she imagined, leaving her totally depressed for, thank goodness, only three days. The truth is, no two bodies or faces are ever truly identical.
If you're just curious and want to see my nose before and after photos—fine, I'll show you. But if you look at my old nose, think you have one just like it, and assume you'll end up with my new one, that kind of thinking could cost you a lot of heartache and tears.
It isn't as if seeing ten incredible results from one surgeon guarantees that you, as his eleventh patient, will walk away satisfied.
In my opinion, no surgeon has a one hundred percent success rate. Not a single one.
Honestly, no person doing any job in this world can claim perfection. It's simply impossible.
We are all essentially taking a massive risk here. You really have to be mentally prepared for anything—for a massive transformation, for an entirely new face, and especially for the possibility of something going wrong.
Ashley Gomez said:Congrats on those beautiful results, I just hope they stay looking that way 😍

Did you guys deal with any bruising before the dressings were removed?

Not really. For me, it’s been seven days now, and honestly, my eyes almost look like I’ve applied perfect eyeliner—there's this sharp line right along the lid, but with all these colorful hues. Even the skin under my eyes has this multicolored tint. Last night, after I put some makeup on, I actually looked like I had massive dark circles! But then this morning, it was only when people got up close to me that they realized my eyes were actually "tinted."
Since it's only been one day since my surgery and my eye is still mostly swollen shut, aren't I just thrilled by how fast everything is moving?
goldenangler82 said:I actually had some incredibly kind doctors email me that entire list of search results too.🙂

ps. if you're sending photos over to your doctors, you really should make sure to take them from the front, a three-quarter view, and from the side.
