I feel the same way; Ripper has been riding that same old tired routine for far too long now, even if the rest of the band still puts out some absolute gems.
Truth be told, I’ve become a bit of a concert recluse lately; I just find the crowds too overwhelming these days. Back when I used to go out with my buddy Sam a few years back, I ended up walking out halfway through a show and realized then that the fun had completely evaporated from the whole experience. 😁
The last show I actually dragged myself to was a Metallica gig, because obviously, I couldn't miss it. It was pure chaos—absolute mayhem—and while most people seemed to be swept up in the madness, I just couldn't bring myself to get caught up in it. 🙂

Sunday is officially reserved for us to just soak in the harmony and let everything sink in. ))

Wasn't that in USA Today? I caught a glimpse of Dragaš writing something there, but I don't have a subscription.

Does anyone have any intel on what’s actually going on with this band? For those of you who actually keep up with the music scene, is there any word at all on whether they're working on new material, or is everything just dead in the water?

By the way, I was at that concert once, and if I recall correctly, I was right there in the crowd screaming my head off! ))

So, I finally show up at the office on Fifth Avenue after being dragged out of downtown and forced into a grueling 45-minute commute, despite my constant, reasonable pleas to start work at 9:00 AM or, ideally, 10:00 AM 🙄, only to have the boss actually agree, while my absolute snakes of colleagues just glare at me 🤣

Exactly 9 years ago today, I packed up and moved to Chicago with nothing but some savings and a whole lot of audacity. It was a complete gamble, honestly. Looking back... well, it actually worked out.

To celebrate, here is the most quintessential Chicago band, playing just for this city! 🙂 )))

Whenever a singer like Adele starts dropping lines about having "pure doubts," my heart honestly just takes off like a jet engine. 🙏 😁

Good grief, what has the world come to!

I'm hitting the road at midnight just to dodge the traffic, hoping to be there by sunrise. My old man mentioned that Mom went all out and packed the fridge with everything imaginable for my kid, which is honestly such a relief. It actually brought to mind that one song that always makes me think of those two:

It's a workday today, and I have an endless pile of chores to tackle at home before my trip the day after tomorrow.
