rowdyfalcon35, I saw the photos and "shocked" doesn't even begin to cover it. Seriously. My heart just aches for you after seeing all this. Honestly, reading your posts about his attitude and how he’s acting... it just makes my blood boil. I can't even imagine what you're going through right now. And that comment about you just being unlucky? I swear, if I were there, I’d give him a slap that would leave him spinning. How does a man live with himself like that? No shame whatsoever.
Does he have any actual plan here? Any suggestion or solution at all? Anything? At the very least, the decent thing to do—the absolute bare minimum—would be to return your money.
I really hope this doesn't just blow over without a lawsuit. Maybe you should send those photos to a major news outlet or some consumer watchdog site? Get eyes on this.
Brenda Green10 said:He told me I could have my surgery on Friday, pull the Tampons out on Saturday, and be right back in school by Monday—no bleeding or anything. Is that actually true?

Honestly, this sounds like a bad joke to me😂. There is absolutely no way you’ll be clear of any bleeding after just two days. If you want, I can send you a photo of myself right after I had my bandages removed—day 11 post-op—so you can judge for yourself if that’s even remotely possible.
brightotter21 said:Wait, isn't that general anesthesia rather than just local??

How long does the recovery actually take—you know, until you can finally get out and be seen in public?

I’m pretty sure it was general, and I think you were asking about local, my bad. 🙂.

As for the recovery part, honestly, it’s anyone's guess. It really depends on the individual. For me, I only just took the patches off on day 11 after surgery, and I was still dealing with bruising for another ten days or so. To be honest, I didn't even bother going out because I wasn't exactly feeling sharp—my head felt all woozy and unsteady. 😂

Some women feel like brand new people after just a week. So, there's really no set rule. 😉
brightotter21 said:Does anyone know how much surgery costs with Dr. Glušac?
Also, how do they handle the local anesthesia—is it an injection in the nose or what? And what kind of pre-op tests are required, and what specifically do they actually check?

The price for both cosmetic and functional surgery was around $2,200 (at least, that’s what it was at the start of the year).
As for the anesthesia, you get it through a vein in your left arm 😁. From what I recall, I definitely didn't have anything injected into my nose.
Regarding the pre-op workups (blood work and an EKG), you can just go through your own primary care doctor if you want to save some cash and avoid extra fees. Though, I do remember the doctor mentioning he could handle the EKG on-site too 🤷.
rustygardener172 said:I was actually terrified, though my nose held up fine 😁 I presided over the whole thing, and the first flight was in a propeller plane. I know those things are technically even safer, but I sat in the prop section and practically burst into tears during takeoff. I shoved my head down by the window just so nobody would see me lolololololol, I was absolutely shitting myself. 😂 The plane was tiny, and the interior looked worse than those old school buses that pick kids up in rural towns. On the seat right in front of me, someone had carved a dick and written "this plane sucks." 🤣

Ah, those memories 😂. It’s totally off topic, but you really gave me a laugh 🤣 😂

As for your nose—just pray it doesn't fall off 🤣
rustygardener172 said:I took an airplane about two months after my surgery, and honestly, I didn't run into any real issues.

I’m feeling a bit more at ease now 🙂. My only lingering worry is whether my nose will act up during the flight 😂. Though, looking back, when I used to fly before the procedure, I’d get this strange sensation of pressure in my head.
Betty Taylor2 said:Cure, have you guys ever flown on an airplane after surgery?
I went on a trip recently, and during takeoff—honestly, even while we were cruising—I felt like my nose was actually going to explode. It didn't last the whole flight, but man, that pain lasted a solid thirty minutes. 😲
Plus, it’s still swollen. 😢

Hy! I have a flight coming up soon too, so reading your post gave me a bit of a scare, haha.
Did this happen to you before the surgery, too?

@Ashley Gomez, how is your recovery coming along? Btw, have you taken any front-facing photos yet? I’d really love to see your nose from the front, so if you have a picture, please send it over. 🙂
Kimberly Baker13 said:I finally saved up enough cash and have some downtime to actually schedule the surgery, but honestly, picking a surgeon is driving me absolutely insane. I can't stop spiraling, thinking about whether I'll regret the choice—what if things end up looking even worse than before? 😕 My biggest paranoia, though, is ending up with something too wide. It's not even the procedure itself that scares me; it's that specific moment when they take the mold off... Ugh, my stomach is already doing knots just thinking about it.

Well, you've already tackled the "easy" part, haha. But seriously, choosing a surgeon is a massive call, and in some ways, it really does feel like a total gamble. If you aren't feeling ready, just hold off for a bit 😉.
Kate Taylor59, Ashley Gomez – honestly, looking at your photos, I don't get the feeling your noses were even candidates for surgery, at least from an aesthetic standpoint. But hey, you’re the experts on yourselves. At the end of the day, all that matters is if you actually love the results.😉

Ashley Gomez – this is easily the most gorgeous profile I've come across on here. Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous! Hehe.

I honestly wish mine looked just like that—perfectly straight, with a bridge and tip that are a bit more compact, just like hers... I mean, EXACTLY like this. 😍

🤷 But if you ask me, that looks totally Photoshopped. It doesn't look like an actual nose after surgery.
Sophia Booth35, honestly, your nose was perfectly fine even before the surgery. This new one looks lovely to me. As for that bit about the bridge being higher or lower—I wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. My right nostril sits a bit lower too (it always did, and it still does), but it doesn't bother me at all, haha.
Anyway, major props on the new look, and I really hope you don't find yourself needing another procedure down the road 😉.

Maria Hall92, your new nose is gorgeous 🙂. You say it isn't small, but if you ask me, it’s actually just the perfect size 😉

And what would you all say about the size of my new nose? It might not be tiny, but at least it's finally straight when seen from the profile, 😂.
steelangler88 said:Ladies, how are you all dealing with the sutures? It's been 7 weeks since my surgery, and I can still feel one sitting in my nose, but nothing is actually coming out.

Mine didn't budge for over two months. It was incredibly annoying because it was such a long one. Just hang in there a little longer.😉
@ Ashley Gomez - If I’m following correctly and you’re heading in for surgery soon, is that right? If so, sending all the good vibes your way!

@ Kate Taylor59 - Wishing you the best of luck too🙂.

Please, everyone, let us know how everything turns out😉.
@Maria Hall92

Honestly, reading what you wrote sounds like a straight-up horror movie to me. I have to hand it to you, though—the fact that you aren't treating this like a total nightmare or just some routine dental work is impressive. To my ears, this sounds a million times worse than getting a filling. From what I’ve gathered, this isn't even the first time people under Tončić's care have dealt with these kinds of anesthesia issues. I don't know how much they're saving compared to general anesthesia, but for my money? No way. I wouldn't go through what you described for any amount of cash. Sure, I felt absolutely wiped out after my last general anesthesia session, but if it came down to it, I’d choose that every single time over this.
Anyway, good luck with the repair. I'm crossing my fingers that you actually end up happy with the results.
P. S. Please "honor" us with some photos once those molds are off.
rustygardener172 said:What kind of lumps? Where exactly? I wouldn't call that normal. I personally never had any bumps like that 🤷

They are tiny little lumps—they look like pimples, really, but they feel rock hard when you touch them. They're all situated right on the bony part. The most obvious one is at the bridge of my nose on the left side. For a while there, I wasn't even paying attention to my nose, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, I notice these things. It honestly feels like my nose looks slightly crooked now, and I have absolutely no clue why that's happening 😕. At this point, I suppose all I can do is just hope it all clears up on its own.
Is it actually normal for these little lumps to be popping up on my nose five months after surgery? They aren't just something you feel under your fingers, either—they’re clearly visible. 😢 Has anyone else dealt with this? Did the bumps eventually just vanish, or am I stuck with them?
stormyharbor2 said:He charges them, but honestly, I think he only billed me 100 rather than 200. Do you happen to remember which figure I gave you? My memory is failing me on this one.😂

I think you mentioned he charged you 100.

My nose gets incredibly swollen right after I wake up, then it settles down during the day, and it just keeps cycling through this loop. I’m curious—how long does this kind of thing actually last?

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like their nose is a completely different color than the rest of their face? I’m not talking about that specific spot where the skin tightens right over the bone. No, it's different. My nose looks like it’s been sunburnt or constantly flushed, and honestly, it definitely wasn't like this before.
Linda Wilson82 said:Glusac doesn't charge for consultations

That’s just not true; he definitely charges for them 🙂. He charged me $67.

Get lost, and if it's not an issue, I'd love to see those photos too 😁.
stormyharbor2 said:By the way, for those of you who had your procedure about two months ago—does anyone else get this weird tingling sensation right up at the bridge of the nose when you try to lift your eyebrows? It’s such a bizarre feeling. Honestly, it feels just like I went under the knife for a full facelift. 🤣

I don't really get the tingling, but there's definitely a pulling sensation. Even when I try to make a surprised face, I just can't. That area feels completely frozen 😂. Just totally stiff 🤷.
Carol Diaz31 said:Look, at the end of the day, everyone’s got their own thing going on. Tastes differ. It’s subjective. But in my view, obsessing over someone else's specific nose shape? That’s a recipe for disaster. You end up with a result that just looks... off. The goal should be simple: make corrections, fix the flaws, and move on. Anything more than that is just pushing your luck. I don't even know where to begin with this one. It’s just... everything. It's all part of it. Just one big, messy, interconnected thing that we all have to deal with, whether we want to or not. Honestly, I'm still processing. It's a lot. Truly. I suppose I should just get straight to it. No sense in dancing around the point, right? It’s about the nose. Honestly. People don't realize how much it defines a face until they're staring at a portrait or looking too closely in a mirror. It's central. Everything else sort of orbits around it. Just a thought. Anyway, moving on.

Spot on. Well said. 👍
