Did you go a little overboard with the Photoshop on that second pic? I can barely even see the shape of her nose anymore😕
I have this acquaintance who decided she wanted to go with Zambellia... mostly because she heard he’s top-tier, basically the big boss, and since he’s pricey, she figured his work must actually be good. She went in for a consultation. Apparently, he’s super cold, but she doesn't give a damn about that. She just wants to get her nasal tip narrowed down. He quoted her $2,200.

Consultation fees at most places run anywhere from $150 up to $83. Personally, Glušac didn't charge me anything for my consult.

Honestly, reading all this drama about nose shapes and scent issues makes me want to just throw in the towel entirely 😳
but let’s be real—I’m probably going to end up doing it sooner or later anyway, so you might as well just keep posting about how gorgeous your noses look and how happy you are 🤣

Look, it doesn't work out the same way for everyone, so don't assume your outcome is already decided.
It's exactly like when you pick up a prescription and start reading the fine print on the side effects... suddenly you feel like you're about to pass out, even though you're perfectly fine. They have to list that stuff. It's the same deal with people complaining about complications from nose surgery... they're the ones making noise. The people who had a flawless experience? They don't bother posting anything 😁(and trust me, there are way more of them than the ones dealing with setbacks)
Sophia Hill22 said:Hey, rustygardener172, since you're actually hanging around—when did you finally get your mojo back?

I honestly have no clue if he even bothered coming back to me. 😕 LMAO, seriously though... I can't even. That is just too much.
I was already feeling a bit off before the surgery, you know? Dealing with that deviated septum is no joke. My doctor told me straight up that it’s going to take probably a year or two for the mucous membrane to fully bounce back and settle down. I mean, I'm getting there... I can definitely smell things again, though some scents hit me way harder than others. It's a slow process, but I guess that's just how it goes. 😁 Look, you really need to give it at least a month before you even think about trying to get back into the swing of things. Your body needs that downtime to actually recover and catch its breath, you know? If you rush it, you're just asking for trouble. Once you've actually caught your second wind, then—and only then—can you start thinking about getting back out there.
Sophia Hill22 said:p.s. I’ve got some serious bruising—the lady at the grocery store actually asked me today if I’d been in a car wreck

Honestly, I used to find it hilarious when I’d go grocery shopping with my boyfriend; people would give us these side-eyes like they thought he was beating me up 🙂 hahahahahaha
that’s why it’s way better to just take two weeks off to let everything settle down... because even after seven days, those bruises can still be pretty visible 😁

As for that whole eye inflammation thing... first time I'm hearing about it. Your skin might feel a little tight once the swelling finally goes down... but it'll bounce back.
Sophia Hill22 said:I am absolutely obsessed with my nose!

Honestly, I’m beyond thrilled—I actually teared up a little looking in the mirror. 🙂 It’s still a bit swollen, but honestly, even with the swelling, it looks so smooth and totally natural. 😍>

🙂 Please tell me you'll drop some pics once the swelling finally goes down! 😉>
wearyotter112 said:Five years after surgery? Seriously? Five years?? Oh man... Hahahahahahahahahahaha... honestly, what else am I supposed to do but laugh? I don't even have a choice. It’s better to crack up than to sit here and sob my eyes out...

As for me, it's only been 4 months...
wearyotter112 said:I totally forgot to mention that my nose is always swollen like a balloon when I first wake up, but then it just settles down throughout the day..... has anyone else dealt with this??

Hahahah, oh man... tell me about it. Same exact thing happens to me. One morning it’s leaning to the left, the next it's tilting right, one day it looks flat, the next the tip is all puffy, another day it's just super swollen, and then suddenly it looks totally normal.... you honestly never know what kind of mess you're gonna face when you open your eyes in the morning. 😂
Elizabeth Baker50 said:^^ No worries at all. 🙂 Ugh, honestly, the glasses were my biggest headache. I didn't even start wearing them regularly until about three months out, and even then, I’d only brave them for maybe 20 minutes to an hour a day. Usually, I’d pop them on right before bed because of the swelling they caused, which would hopefully settle down by morning. In the meantime, contact lenses were my absolute lifesaver. I didn't even touch sunglasses until about six months after the procedure (maybe an hour or two a day tops).

Plus, my doctor actually recommended avoiding glasses during that first year, which is just such a bummer....

Mine told me I could go back to glasses once the muscle healed up... but he emphasized they couldn't be heavy frames.
Laura Castillo7 said:I've got a belly button piercing and they actually made me take it out. Basically, you can't have any metal on you just in case they need to shock you back to life during resuscitation. And tongue piercings? Forget about it—they need space for the intubation tube. They even asked if I had any dental braces or anything like that, so yeah, if you've got stuff in your mouth, get it out. You can obviously put everything back once the surgery is over. Your piercing hole isn't going to close up in a few hours, right?

In my case, they told me to ditch all my earrings, but they said the navel piercing was totally fine to leave in.
wearyotter112 said:Zambelli actually specialized in general surgery. See, the medical schools here in the States don't really offer a specific residency for plastic surgery... most of them just pick up their experience working their way through different hospitals. But look, what I'm trying to get at is this—if you're dead set on getting a better nose, Zambelli is going to nail it for you. Even though he isn't an ENT, I'm pretty sure he's gained a massive amount of experience in that area. It's a hell of a lot better than those ENT specialists who try to play plastic surgeon and end up totally wrecking people's noses and faces, myself included.... 😢

That's exactly why most of them head overseas to finish their specialization...
wiredwalker86 said:Oh, thanks for getting back to me! 🙏
The only thing bothering me is that little bump; everything else turned out amazing, and I’m honestly thrilled with how it looks overall....
I was wondering, though—how willing is the doctor to touch that up? Would it be awkward to bring it up, considering I didn't go to him privately and pay full price for a solo consultation?...
And one more thing: is two weeks of recovery at home enough time for people not to notice you had nose surgery? Like, is that enough time for any bruising or swelling to clear up so I can just head back to work like nothing happened?

Look, any decent surgeon will fix that if you just ask them straight up.
And yeah... two weeks should be plenty of time.
briskseal99 said:She mentioned she’d never dream of getting nose surgery from a DR. who isn't an ENT, which honestly makes total sense. What I was trying to get at is that not every ENT is automatically a plastic surgeon, too. There are tons of ENTs out there who just stick to ears, nose, and throat stuff and don't touch plastic surgery. If you want the best results, you really want someone who is both an ENT and a plastic surgeon.

I mean, obviously she was talking about a cosmetic surgeon... we were already discussing getting a nose job with Dr. Zambelli, and he's definitely a cosmetic surgeon...
wiredwalker86 said:So, here’s the deal with septum issues. If you're dealing with a deviated septum along with that annoying little bump—what doctors call a dorsal hump—you gotta know that they aren't necessarily two birds with one stone. Usually, if you go in just for a functional septoplasty to fix your breathing, they might only focus on the internal stuff. In those cases, that bump stays right where it is. It’s like fixing the engine of a car but leaving a huge dent in the door; the car runs better, but it still looks a bit rough. However, most people who decide to get this done end up asking for a rhinoplasty at the same time. That’s when the surgeon tackles both. If you tell them, "Hey, while you're in there fixing my breathing, let's smooth out this bump too," then yeah, it gets taken care of in one go. Basically, it all depends on what you actually tell the doctor during your consultation. If you're only worried about being able to breathe through your nose, the bump might stay. If you want the whole aesthetic overhaul, you've gotta make sure that's part of the plan! 😕

Look, you don't just rip that pin off... that falls under the whole aesthetic vibe.
stormyharbor2 said:Not my thing. 😢

Oh, come onnnnnn... I've sent you a mountain of photos already... if you're that picky about the nose, just blur out the rest of the face and call it a day! 😁
stormyharbor2 said:Ugh, whatever. I wasn't even really asking. I can't remember if he showed yours too, but I definitely know he was showing mine. 🤦

Hahahahahahah 😂
So when am I actually gonna get to see yours? 😢 shoot me a DM
Kate Taylor59 said:Look, Glushac can talk all he wants about using the absolute best techniques and whatnot... and honestly, everyone else too... but personally? I’m all about Zambelli. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about him, plus the nose jobs he does are just my style. 😉
Even Severina, after having her nose messed up three different times, went straight to him.

You could argue that Severina basically paid for that nose job through publicity... she's essentially his walking billboard. Some doctors don't even need that kind of hype; their work speaks for itself.

But then again, there's something to be said for a doctor who operates on someone in the spotlight (you know, those red carpet types and all that nonsense). At least you know they'll go above and beyond to make it perfect—not necessarily for you, but because they absolutely cannot afford to look like a hack in front of the cameras. 🤣
stormyharbor2 said:Glushac definitely shows off the photos. 😬

Oh, give me a break! He hasn't shown a single one to me. 😁 So, you're gonna be the one asking him? Did he show you any of my pics? Apparently, he was just thrilled with my nose 👍 and even the fact that I actually bothered to show up for a follow-up after two whole months... He goes on about how people don't usually come back after that much time (claims only unhappy people return to complain, while the satisfied ones just move on with their lives... yeah, right, he thinks all his patients are perfectly happy)... so he took some pictures of me.
briskseal99 said:Honestly, it’s not even ideal if the surgeon is just an ENT when you're looking at cosmetic work. The absolute sweet spot is finding someone who is both an ENT and a plastic surgeon. To me, that’s the gold standard for rhinoplasty. At least then you can sleep easy knowing they actually care about how it looks *and* making sure you can still breathe through it.

And that’s exactly what Carol Parker57 was getting at. She wouldn't dream of letting a plastic surgeon touch her nose if they didn't also specialize in ENT stuff.
Sophia Hill22 said:Kate Taylor59 - he’s not showing you photos, but I’ve seen some girls from the forum post them before, and honestly, she’s all about that natural look, which I am totally here for.

Exactly like Dr. Glushac... this is just what I was getting at earlier. Everyone deserves a nose that actually fits their face. And what photos?! There isn't some damn catalog of noses out there—and there's a good reason for that!
Sophia Hill22, I am seriously so happy for you!!!! 🙂 I'm dying to see pictures once you've recovered a bit. 😍
casualcanyon14 said:Here’s that link for Mirta Surjak’s nose I accidentally dropped earlier.

Does anyone actually know who did Lana Klingor's surgery?

You dropped the link again, lol.

But honestly, it doesn't even matter... first off, regarding that journalist from Miami... one photo is straight-on and the other is a three-quarter view... you can't even tell if it's still wide or not. As for the one you just posted, I can't even comment because I have no idea what her nose looked like before... but it looks fine now. Lana Klingor has a great nose; it really suits her.
Even Sevka pulls off that weird nose look just because she's gone full plastic. But that kind of nose on a normal girl would look absolutely ridiculous... you look at them from the front and the nasal bones look like a triangle... wtf?!
And that model with the "weird" nose... I highly doubt she got that look from just one procedure. That’s the classic look you get after several reduction surgeries... like they were never small enough?!

Basically, what I'm trying to get at with all this is... there is zero point in obsessing over other people's noses. You can't just pick a nose out and say, "Yeah, I want that one." Everyone has different facial features and different bone structures under the skin. Especially with celebrities... they wear so much makeup in photos that I can barely tell where their eyes end and their mouth begins, let alone judge their actual nose shape. 😁
You figure out your nose when you actually sit down for a consultation with a high-quality surgeon who will give it to you straight about what's actually possible. All you can really do is say, "I want it smaller or larger," "narrower or wider," "shorter or longer," "take off the hump," or "help me breathe better"... and then pray you're in the hands of a talented surgeon who will make it work with your specific anatomy and face. Good luck to everyone out there hunting for a surgeon like that. I managed to find mine. 🙂
