I had my surgery two months ago. My nose was honestly terrible—wide, bumpy, high, and broken... I absolutely hated it. Now, I finally have the beautiful nose I’ve always wanted. My profile is perfect, even though the tip is still a little swollen. The bone area is still puffy too, but even with the swelling, it looks better and narrower than before. The doctor mentioned he had his work cut out for him since there were several old fractures to deal with. The procedure was supposed to cost $2,000, which means $4867, but the doctor ended up charging me only $1,400 and told me to use the $600 difference to buy something nice to help with my recovery 😍

I would warmly recommend Dr. Glusac to everyone; if you have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them 👍

Since this is only my second post on this forum, I know plenty of you will be skeptical about my story, but I'm not here to run an advertisement. I just want to help girls who are still hesitating, just like rustygardener172 helped me 🙂

That's wonderful, I am so glad to read such a lovely experience... if you don't mind, could you also send some photos to me? thanks 🙂
Kate Taylor59 said:Well, I suppose that's exactly why you're lacking in this area. [Image of a brain]

Who did Morning Star perform the procedure on?
Carol Parker57 said:Maybe some people just aren't great at writing on a Forum; they just want to describe their experience and share how happy they are on a thread specifically meant for that. Why would anyone bother advertising themselves here when they could just work on some celebrity on a red carpet and everyone would know who they are?

I had surgery with Dr. Smith two years ago to fix a deviated septum, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This isn't some kind of fucking advertising. 🙄

If anyone is interested, I can send photos via PM and answer any questions you might have.

By the way, Jasmin, your nose looks amazing now. It’s a really nice, masculine shape. 🙏

Could I please see the photos? Thanks.

Alright... since you're from the South, can you tell me why you didn't stick with Glušac for your surgery? I've been torn between him and Zambell, and now I'm completely lost. Have you actually dealt with him? Being from a small town outside of Makarska, I haven't heard much good about his work, even though plenty of girls around here seem to swear by him.
velvetangler17 said:Hi everyone... I've finally decided to go through with nose surgery. I just finished my consultation with Dr. Glumičić, so now I just need to pick a date and let them know... ugh, it's definitely weighing on me, but we're all in this together! To anyone else heading in soon, I wish you a speedy recovery and the perfect results you're looking for. 👍 If anyone else happens to be seeing Dr. Glumičić soon, please reach out and let me know... 😉

Is Paloma by any chance from Makarska?
Kate Taylor59 said:From what I’ve heard, you can go in for surgery after just a few months; it shouldn't really matter since everything is going to have to heal all over again regardless.

I am honestly quite conflicted. Both Dr. Miller and Dr. Stevens gave me the same advice: they suggest waiting at least six months, though a full year would be ideal. Consequently, I think I will wait. If anyone here has found themselves in a similar situation, please reach out...
rustygardener172 said:That actually gave me a good laugh.😂
It’s just so typical of the "all-knowing" Glušac.😁
However, they both probably gave you the right advice. I assume surgery is an option immediately, but waiting a year is recommended because your nose needs that time to fully heal and settle after the first procedure. It's much smarter to wait a year so you can pinpoint exactly what you're unhappy with and what you'd want to change. Even though I think Glušac is a legend,😁 in this specific instance, I’d side with Zambelli's perspective. Wait until your nose has completely recovered from the first surgery before putting it through a second one. What's the rush?😕

See? He's just too much... 🙂As for me, part of me wants to go under the knife right now just to get it all over with, but logically, I think I'll choose to wait. I'll just see what everyone else has to say; I'm genuinely curious to compare their answers...
My dear friends, I am still weighing my options regarding who should perform my follow-up surgery, and in the midst of this search, I have encountered an unexpected complication... I sent emails to several doctors asking the same question: how much time is required before undergoing a new procedure? It has been nearly four months since my initial surgery. What did I receive in response? So far, only Zambelli and Glušac have replied, and their advice is diametrically opposed; according to Glušac, I could undergo surgery immediately, yet Zambelli insists I must wait a full year for everything to settle. Now, I am left completely bewildered!!! Does anyone here have any experience with this matter?
Elizabeth Collins5 said:I had mentally prepared myself for the postoperative recovery process. I even braced myself for potential pain, though it ended up being negligible. My mindset was focused on the surgery itself rather than just an aesthetic upgrade. Because of that preparation, I didn't view the whole experience through a negative lens.

I wanted to share my experience simply so those heading into this know what kind of discomfort to expect. To be honest, after reading everyone else's stories on this forum, I fully expected to be back to normal within two weeks, so it was a bit of a reality check when things didn't go that smoothly.
Also, for anyone currently waiting for their procedure: please don't compare yourself to others. We all have different bone structures and skin types, and no two surgeries are identical.
For instance, right after my operation, I felt like I’d been run over by a tank. Yet, when I went in for my follow-up a week later, there was a guy who had finished his surgery only thirty minutes prior, and he looked like he hadn't even been touched. Some people just get luckier than others.

My apologies, I sent that prematurely; the most important thing is that you're happy with the results now.🙂
Could someone please send me some photos via private message? 😉Thanks in advance.
jadedriver0 said:It’s pretty much the same thing, though my chin feels like I’ve been getting punched for two days straight.😢 😲 😂I can laugh about it now, but honestly, it wasn't funny at the time. Well, it's over and done with, thank God.🙂 🙂

As long as you're happy with the results, that's all that matters... 🙂
Is there any way I could get some photos via private message?? 😉
Thanks in advance.
Kate Taylor59 said:I still don't quite get it—why isn't anyone mentioning Zambellia? That guy has done some truly incredible work...
And one quick question: :P roughly how much does a consultation run?

I find myself wondering the same thing; there hasn't been a single word about Zambellia. Honestly, almost nothing at all, despite how much I keep looking forward to hearing something about him...
Sophia Hill22 said:I absolutely love my new nose!

I am beyond thrilled—honestly, I almost burst into tears when I saw myself in the mirror. 🙂 There is still a little swelling, but even with the puffiness, it looks incredibly straight and natural. 😍

I am so incredibly happy for you!!!! Sorry, I haven't been keeping up—who was your surgeon?? Would you mind sending me a photo via DM?
Sophia Hill22 said:Guys—when did your sense of smell actually come back? I have to admit, I’m already starting to miss it.

I’m on day six today. My left nostril is completely blocked, and my right one keeps acting up with constant drainage that occasionally turns bloody. The swelling at the bridge of my nose has gone down quite a bit, though I'm still looking pretty bruised and colorful.

I didn't start smelling anything again until day 10 after my surgery... it's a miserable feeling... but don't worry, it'll return to you soon enough.
Melissa Williams11 said:Are you kidding me? What doctor are we even talking about? Is he at Salus or something?

Mikus doesn't perform nose surgery at Salus; he goes to Lisec (who is an expert on functional issues, though perhaps less so on the aesthetic side), so we'll see. I sent you the full details via private message.
rustygardener172 said:Hahahah, tell me about it... I’m right there with you. One morning it’s leaning to one side, the next it’s completely different. Some days it looks flat, other days one side is swollen, then the other, or just totally inflamed, or perfectly fine... You truly never know what you're going to face when you open your eyes. 😂

Wait, hold on—what exactly is their explanation for that? Mine doesn't have a clue, so I figured I'd check if any of yours do...😂
rustygardener172 said:Hahahah, tell me about it... I'm in the exact same boat. One morning it’s leaning one way, the next it's tilting the other. Some days it feels perfectly flat, then suddenly one side is swollen, then both sides are inflamed, then everything goes back to being normal... you truly never know what to expect when you open your eyes. 😂

Five years after the surgery? Are you kidding me? Five years... wow. Hahahahahahahahahahaha... Honestly, what else am I supposed to do but laugh? It’s better than breaking down in tears, I guess.
rustygardener172 said:He told me I could go back after the procedure... just that they shouldn't be too heavy.

I forgot to mention that my nose looks swollen like a balloon when I first wake up, then it subsides during the day... has anyone else dealt with this?
rustygardener172 said:It’s safe to assume she was referring to a plastic surgeon... after all, the discussion was about rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Zambelli, and he is indeed a plastic surgeon...

Zambelli specialized in general surgery, and you won't find a specific specialization for plastic surgery at any American medical schools. Most of them just pick up their expertise through hospital rotations, but honestly—if you're looking for an attractive nose, Zambelli will deliver regardless of him not being an ENT. In my opinion, he's gained plenty of experience in that area, unlike those ENTs who try to play plastic surgeon and end up ruining people's noses and faces, much like what happened to me.... 😢
Kate Taylor59 said:She had surgery, though she won't admit... and she certainly won't say which doctor performed it.

Just like Lana Jurcevic... this is definitely NOT a natural nose.🤷

I don't know if I'm just imagining things, but Lana, Severina, and Iva all seem to have the exact same nose. Given that Zambelli is doing Severina's work, maybe they all go to the same person... just a thought!!
Kate Taylor59 said:Iva Saric claims she didn't have her nose done...
Someone actually had surgery with Zambelli and posted photos on page 78 of this Forum...
I'm just trying to figure out what his rates are these days...

I read somewhere that it costs around $2,400, but I'm not sure if those prices still hold up. Does anyone know? And sorry, I feel like I'm repeating myself, but does Zambelli actually remove the hump or just sand it down? Dr. Glushac says he removes it completely so you don't end up with tiny bumps later, so I'm curious about Zambelli's approach to that.

As for Iva Saric, she definitely had her nose done—you can see it from an airplane.
