Look, he’ll actually show up when they start facing real heavyweights... That's just how his head works.
So you're saying if we beat the Canadians but then end up dropping games to those Unknown guys or the Franks, we'd still cruise right through? It feels like the Spaniards could easily choke out there in Iceland... But honestly, looking at how the Frenchmen are playing, I don't see them messing up again before the tournament wraps up.😁

Man, oh man.
Back to the point here—maybe they just don't vibe with you, or maybe your approach is off. Honestly, that specific breed of people sees politeness as a total weakness.
If you aren't looking to jump ship right away, you really need to get to know them and dig into what's actually going on with them. If you're the type of person who lets this stuff get under your skin (and let's be real, you are), then you gotta find out why they act like that. Once you understand the "why," it gets way easier to deal with. A lot of smart people like you live in this bubble thinking, "hey, if I'm respectful, everyone else will be too." But nope! That's not how the world works, especially in tougher industries like construction or heavy manufacturing. In my experience, the harder the job, the more extreme the personalities get.
I’m telling you, the doubling thing per year is what really sells me. Like, going from twenty to forty? That’s massive. Your math where you just say it's twenty times three doesn't even make sense to me. It totally ignores how that third jump works, and if we followed your logic, you'd be living for another 850 years, which is definitely not happening.
I mean, you might kick the bucket by the time you hit sixty, if you're lucky, but I’d personally recommend aiming for the twenty-fourth because of that doubling effect. It’s just like basketball or a game of pool—once someone doubles you up, there is absolutely no way to recover, no matter how well you play.
Left-handed people live 14 years less than that average.
I'm 25 years old.
So here's the math: 70 - 14 = 56.
Subtract my age: 56 - 25 = 31.
Add that to right now: 2009 + 31 = 2040.
Final answer: I'm gonna kick the bucket in 2040.
And get this—that’s a killer year. It sounds freaking awesome when you say it out loud: Twenty-forty-forty.
It would sound so epic if someone said, "He passed away in the Lord's twenty-fourth year of twenty-forty."😍
Maybe the grammar is a little wonky, but it's cool, right friends? A year that basically doubles itself just by saying it.🙂
If any of you have your own special way of calculating when you're hitting the finish line, let me know. I looked for a numerology subforum, but this is just under General Random. Is this off-topic?😬
I honestly don't get why such an awesome thread got nuked. The guy basically opened it as a total parody of the Prime Minister—like, who's even mad? I was sitting there describing my own self-inflicted mishaps, and they still wiped it out.
That’s just straight-up bad moderation. I have no clue why they're deleting this stuff when the thread was actually hilarious and let people be creative. The level of vulgarity was practically zero. If they’re going to allow those sexist threads to stay up, why is this getting the axe? It’s just sloppy, nonsensical moderation with zero logic behind it. Feels like some strict political party structure or something.
I had a similar experience on LJES in that "What happened last night" thread, and nobody said a word. And look, this isn't the first time threads have been deleted—it's totally pointless, obviously.
Honestly, some of these people would be way better suited as PR reps for young, attractive women on the Forum rather than trying to moderate. And hey, that’s not even sarcasm—it’s the honest truth.
Honestly, this whole thing gives me major China vibes—that heavy-handed moderation system. Total control freak energy. And don't even get me started on the cult of personality. The second you post anything even slightly controversial? Boom. Deleted. Straight to the dungeon. Or at the very least, they scrub your posts and parade you through the streets like those women in New York City who were cozying up to Hitler.
Mad respect, brothers. You guys are killing it. And man, I don't even have to guess who's behind all the deleting, do I? 👍
So, last Thursday I took what I think was a hard kick from a cleat while playing soccer—honestly, I can't even remember if someone actually hit me or if I just tweaked something bad. A day later, this bruise popped up under my left ankle, and then this little swelling started forming on the bottom of my foot, right between the ankle and the heel. Since I could walk around with barely any pain, I figured it wasn't a huge deal and just kept slathering some gel on it. I could move my ankle pretty normally the whole time too.
I finally went to see my primary care doctor today. He wrapped my ankle up and told me I have to keep it taped for seven days, plus take it easy for another two weeks—basically, stay off the soccer field. The pain is super minimal; I only really feel it if I put all my weight on that left leg. But seriously, what is this? Is it just a sprain? Did I go and mess up my ligaments or my joint because I didn't wrap it right immediately? It’s not swollen anymore, just that one bruise.
When can I get back out there for my amateur league games? And how should I jump back into training? Was this from the actual impact, or did I just land wrong without realizing it during the game? I'm honestly worried it might be something more serious and that I'll just reinjure myself the second I start sprinting again.
Amanda Foster23 said:Well, I mean... it’s not like an everyday thing. Usually more like every third day..🙂
Alright, fair enough. 😬 Some women, though—especially if their hair is looking a bit rough or they've totally trashed it with constant bleach jobs and whatever else—they end up washing it every single day just to try and get some fake volume back.😬
George Booth58 said:Honestly, this whole trend totally saved my life... I was losing my damn mind without contacts 😁😁🤣
😬 My best friend totally screwed me over with those contact lenses. Dude’s got blue eyes and a massive prescription, so without them, his eyes look pretty mid—kind of small and nothing special. But once he puts them in? Man, wow. We used to hang out all through high school, and now I’m rocking contacts while his eyes look wide open and striking. Like, what the hell? Four years of friendship just to realize he’s out here looking better than me. Seriously, screw him! 😬
But man, those glasses are such a hit with guys who aren't typical nerds. It creates this killer vibe where you get that raw masculinity mixed with this soft, sensitive boy energy—like someone who read way too many books and Winnie the Pooh. Most women find that combo absolutely irresistible 😬
George Booth58 said:enough about you, let's talk about me 😁😁
basically, I'm the ultimate example of wild, untamed, non-mediocre hair... Instead of just joining some basic skater subculture, I go for that semi-preppy, polished look—long hair, stylish designer glasses, and watching all those hot girls fall all over me 😍😍 🤣🤣🤣
George Booth58 said:Every single great person I know is obsessed with the Cup... I guess we just treat it like an extra limb or something pretty much 🤣🤣😍😁
nahhh, she's wild, untamed, and tough as nails... just like me 😬
I really should run one of those "let's talk about my car" ads right about now, but that's such a total cliché, so here's some art instead

A few bucks 🙏🙏 🙏 for that whole Oliver Twist aura and the "telling all about myself" observation. 😬
I’ll tell you what, if there’s one thing I actually care about, it’s my hair. 😬
And hey, here’s a few bucks for egging me on to talk about myself. 😬
