Steve Nash under 13.5 Even facing off against Chris Paul, he still managed to log nearly the entire game last night. Kevin Garnett over 14.5 Pau Gasol over 16.5
Jeremy Lee67 said:I just stepped into the sportsbook to put together a parlay—here are the legs I'm looking at:
Washington Wizards - Sacramento Kings - Minnesota Timberwolves 2 + Minnesota Timberwolves - Utah Jazz 1 + Paul Pierce over 18.5 points + Ricky Rubio over 11.5 points - LA Clippers - Denver Nuggets 1 Houston Rockets - Philadelphia 76ers 2
I paired that with a Nishikori win + (tennis) and a St. Etienne win + (French League) I really wanted to add the Wall over 16.5, but they moved the line to 18.5, which killed it for me.
It’s a real shame—I was tracking Ricky Rubio, but ended up crossing out DeMar DeRozan and the Wall instead. I was also seriously considering some plays on the Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors, or the Toronto Raptors... though honestly, the Philadelphia 76ers probably would have hit anyway, so it wouldn't have changed much. I was incredibly close to hitting another 100-to-1 longshot.
The main ticket actually hit—OKC, Chicago, and New York. I really should have taken the handicap on that one.
Here is the parlay I’m looking to put down at the bookmaker—here are my picks:
Washington vs Sacramento vs Minnesota: Pick 2 Minnesota vs Utah: Pick 1 Paul Pierce over 18.5 Ricky Rubio over 11.5 LA Clippers vs Denver: Pick 1 Houston vs Philadelphia: Pick 2
I’ve paired this with a win for Nishikori in tennis and a win for ST Eienn in the French first division. I originally wanted to take the over on Wall at 16.5, but the line has already shifted up to 18.5.
The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the LA Lakers tomorrow—they could easily underestimate a depleted Boston Celtics squad. A straight win feels like a lock, though I wouldn't touch the handicap if I were you. :nezna:
Is there any real chance we see both Minnesota vs Utah and Raptors vs Pistons land as two units?
@Playmaker, I think you're being a bit too dismissive of the Golden State Warriors here; they're a remarkably solid group, and honestly, it’s far from impossible for them to take down the Phoenix Suns.
Griffin to come out on top Boozer is my pick here Rondo takes this one I’m leaning towards Allen staying under his projected total Nets (+8.5) should cover the spread The Clippers have my vote
He managed to nail the picks for Dallas, Minnesota, and the Knicks—and then tied them all together with AC Milan, Atalanta, and of course, that struggling Juventus side. It’s a shame; if I had been paying attention to this thread earlier, I probably would have followed your lead with Love—honestly, a stellar call.
To keep things brief, I’m taking the over on both Carlos Boozer and Russell Westbrook—they're both looking sharp right now, especially since Boozer is seeing a significant uptick in usage since Derrick Rose has been out. Plus, Sacramento plays such an aggressive offensive style that they really tend to push the pace toward the rim. As for the spread, I'm taking Oklahoma at +12.5 against Utah without a second thought; honestly, the visitors have been a massive disappointment lately, and they're facing a rested home team in their third game in just three days. I also have the Lakers to win—they haven't exactly been dominant, but they tend to show up for matchups just like this one. Finally, I'm going with Memphis over Houston; the away team is struggling for rhythm, and at 1.75, there's enough value here for them to bounce back against a weaker squad.
Kevin Garnett always had that versatility to step in and play center whenever the situation demanded it—he was more than just a specialist—but looking at the roster now, I finally see the Boston lineup as a truly complete unit. That said, I suspect they’ll likely have to deal with Pau Gasol taking over that interior role soon enough.
Steve Nash is looking sharp right now—he could easily go over his projected numbers—but I think it’s going to be a much tougher ask for Kevin Garnett in that matchup against Andrew Bynum..
Man, last night was a rough one. I had three parlays running with 2.0 odds—one got killed by the LA Clippers, another went south when Washington, D.C. couldn't cover against New York City 🤦, though thankfully the third one actually hit.
Looking at today, I’m feeling good about the Phoenix Suns—they're in great form and Steve Nash is playing incredibly well, even if he isn't exactly my favorite player to watch—plus Houston Rockets had a pretty grueling matchup yesterday. I'm also eyeing the OKC Thunder and an under for the Celtics-Lakers game, though that line isn't exactly enticing. I'd even take the under on 108 points for the Denver Nuggets given their current rhythm, despite the fact that the Golden State Warriors have been giving up quite a few points lately due to their offensive style.

That was incredibly close. I was following along for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and seeing Kevin Durant take over at the end—man, respect where it's due.
Garnett is the better bet here—he's looking sharp lately—whereas Nash is a definite under; I mean, let’s be real, after dropping 25 three-pointers yesterday, there is zero chance he hits even one today. It's basically Miami vs Cleveland at this point.
I spent some time diving into the numbers today—looking at 10 different matchups:
John Wall (-15.5+)-Washington Wizards - Toronto Raptors (02/07, 01:00) Over 1.85 Chris Paul (-17.5+)-Orlando Magic - LA Clippers (02/07, 01:00) Over 1.70 Luigi Gallinari (-16.5+)-Denver Nuggets - Houston Rockets (02/07, 03:00) Over 1.70 Derrick Rose (-25.5+)-Brooklyn Nets - Chicago Bulls (02/07, 01:30) Over 1.85 Carmelo Anthony (-25.5+)-New York Knicks - Utah Jazz (02/07, 01:30) Over 1.70 Orlando Magic - LA Clippers (02/07, 01:00) 2 1.95 Washington Wizards - Toronto Raptors (02/07, 01:00) 1 1.60 New York Knicks - Utah Jazz (02/07, 01:30) 1 1.75 Brooklyn Nets - Chicago Bulls (02/07, 01:30) 2 1.25 Atlanta Hawks - Phoenix Suns (02/07, 01:30) 1 1.35
James Taylor3 said:I didn't even catch that at all. Honestly, just another win in the bag for my pick. Do you think that’s going to be because of those technical fouls from last time?
He was practically looking for a fight with the ref because he felt that call against Pau Gasol wasn't actually a foul. This could easily turn into an all-Kobe Bryant kind of night—he'll likely be driving them crazy with technicals, and besides, there's another record on the line that he's clearly hunting for.
Jeremy Lee67 said:I assume someone followed along—it wasn't exactly a wild, imaginative parlay, but those odds were certainly rewarding enough.🤷
Today, I’m feeling good about Minnesota, the Bulls, the Knicks, and honestly, even the Pistons. I'll put something together later this evening.
I suspect some of you tracked the action again; our main ticket has now hit three days in a row.😁 If only the Lakers had pulled it off—and if Rose had managed just one more basket—that 1,185,000.15 odds ticket would have landed, and I’d likely be out on some luxury yacht right now, sipping martinis alongside some stunning models.
Jeremy Lee67 said:It’s true—the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets are solid squads (though certainly not better than the Miami Heat)—but if LeBron James is truly locked in, Philadelphia won't stand a chance. Not to mention, if he gets even moderate support from Dwyane Wade or Chris Bosh, the game is essentially over. As for the LA Lakers and Denver, anything could happen there; the Lakers have picked up two straight wins and finally seem to be finding their rhythm—they’re looking much fresher now that Kobe only had to play half a game against Bobcast recently—while Denver had a grueling matchup last night against the LA Clippers. Plus, the Lakers are staring down a stretch of six or seven tough road games, and given their current record isn't exactly stellar, they really need to capitalize while they still have some energy in the tank.
Lakers vs Heat series 2 Miami Heat 2
edit—looking at the lines again, I honestly think almost everything could end up being a two-game spread. 😁
I assume someone was following along—it wasn't the most imaginative parlay, I'll admit, but those coefficients were definitely worth the risk.🤷
Today, my eyes are on the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Chicago Bulls, the New York Knicks, and I might even take the Detroit Pistons. I'll put something together later this evening.
