Jason Harris5 said:Just think about how things were back when being gay was actually illegal—everyone breaking those laws knew they were committing a crime, but it didn't stop them. So yeah, they were effectively criminals. And once someone starts repeatedly breaking the law like that, they're eventually going to slide into other types of criminal behavior too.

this is pure gold... seriously, top tier stuff. congrats. easily the dumbest thing I've ever had the displeasure of reading in my entire life.

I can die happy now
I honestly don't get the point of these threads. Is the goal just to drag up some thief or rapist and act like they represent everyone? Seriously, good morning to us, I guess. At the end of the day, what makes gay people different from straight people is just who they prefer to be in bed with. Nobody is out here claiming they’re somehow more honest, smarter, or even better looking than anyone else—though that doesn't mean they're "lesser" people like these posts try to imply. Can we just lock this topic and similar ones down? Maybe just open one giant megathread where a few shady users can try their best to "prove" there's some weird correlation between crime and being gay?

Look, an individual doesn't speak for an entire group; it really is that simple. For that reason, I’m not going to turn around and say gay people are superior just because a few names come to mind—like Tim Cook, Jim Parsons, Ricky Martin, Freddie Mercury, Ellen DeGeneres, Jodie Foster, or Jason Collins... well, some of those are just rumors and they haven't even officially come out, so I won't even waste my breath talking about them here.

It's the same logic as when someone who isn't gay commits a sin; I'm not going to pin that onto their whole population. It never even crosses my mind to do that, regardless of their status or whatever they might be saying in the media.

What do you mean, a 4 out of 10? 😁

Honestly, this movie was awesome—it’s such a massive step up from the first one. It’s just non-stop tension and action from start to finish, and I’d even go as far as saying it’s actually pretty smart with some really solid characters (well, okay, maybe not *all* of them, but still). Look, I’m not claiming this is going to be some legendary masterpiece people are analyzing for decades or some all-time cinematic classic, but it is genuinely a blast to watch and highly entertaining. If you’re into that specific mix of thriller, horror, and action, I cannot recommend it enough. Plus, there’s a nice little touch of dark comedy sprinkled in there too 😁

Michelle Evans said:Just flip that setting over to 'Use Invisible moda' and you’re golden. It’s like turning off your location on Google Maps when you just want to wander around without anyone tracking your every move—problem solved, simple as that. 🙂

If you want to tweak things around, just head over to Settings & Options, hit Edit Options, and then select Use Invisible moda.

Look, I gotta point something out here—it’s kind of funny how we all work. It's like you're dying to peek through the curtains to see who's been scrolling through your profile, right? You want that little bit of intel on who's checking you out. But then, at the exact same time, it totally bugs you if someone can actually see your Current Activity while they're browsing your page. It's such a weird contradiction, isn't it? Like, I want to know who's watching me, but please, for the love of God, don't let them see what I'm actually up to! That’s actually pretty interesting. 😁

Nah, I’m gonna pass—it honestly just hurts too much to even think about (if you'll excuse me). 😁 Honestly, I couldn't care less who’s lurking on my profile or checking out my history on this forum. It really doesn't matter to me at all. Look, I'll be the first to admit that half the stuff I've posted belongs in the garbage—and I mean actual literal trash, not just "bad" content—but let's be real, most people's posts around here are pretty much the same level of nonsense anyway.

Look, I actually have one really solid reason why having that option available would be such a game-changer for me.

I gotta say, that bolded point you made feels a little off to me... It’s not even that I’m super bothered by seeing someone's Current Activity, per se, it’s just that the whole setup feels kind of nonsensical. Like, how does it work where you can see exactly what topic I'm reading, yet there's zero way to see who's actually lurking in the thread? It honestly feels like they only gave privacy settings to the actual stalkers or something. I don't know, man, this whole "selective transparency" thing just seems pretty silly to me, that's all.

electricorca112 said:Man, I am seriously tripping out right now—why on earth isn't that option even an available choice? It’s like they just completely overlooked it when they were building this thing. Seriously, how does that even happen? Current Activity So, I was just scrolling through everyone's profiles, and it totally hit me—does anyone actually know where the specific section is located on the forum that shows exactly where a user is positioned within the site's structure? Like, when you're looking at someone's profile, is there a little breadcrumb trail or a specific tab that tells you their exact spot in the community hierarchy? It’s driving me kind of crazy trying to track down how the navigation works for individual user info! 🤔

So, theoretically speaking, it’s like you can basically peek under the hood to see who’s been checking out your profile—but there's a massive catch. You can only really make that connection if you already have a hunch, or like, a super strong suspicion, about exactly who might be lurking and when they're doing it. It's less about having a crystal ball and more about just connecting the dots based on your own gut feeling.

Look, we really need to have a serious heart-to-heart about how much we respect privacy on this forum. It’s one thing to chat and hang out, but it’s another thing entirely when things start feeling a bit too exposed. We all come here to unwind and be ourselves, right? But that only works if there’s a sense of security—like knowing your business stays your business. It feels a bit like walking into a crowded Starbucks expecting some peace and quiet, only to realize everyone is basically hovering over your shoulder reading your messages. If we don't maintain those boundaries, the whole vibe of this community just falls apart. We've gotta look out for one another and keep things respectful, because once that trust is gone, there's really no coming back from it. 🤷 Honestly, why does anyone even care what kind of stuff I’m scrolling through? Like, what's the big deal? It feels like such a random thing to get worked up about, you know? What's the point of even asking? Current ActivityLook, I totally get where you're coming from—it’s pretty obvious that anyone stumbling onto my profile is going to see all my old nonsense. Honestly, a huge chunk of my past posts are just pure, unadulterated stupidity from back in my younger days. It’s not like I’m ancient or anything, but I’ve definitely lived enough life now that I feel that massive wave of secondhand embarrassment whenever I look back at half the stuff I used to write. But this specific thing? This whole situation? I’m not even sure if it’s actually pointing out a specific person's profile. From what I can tell, it doesn't seem to be calling anyone out by name; it just sounds like it's saying *someone* is being watched, rather than identifying exactly who it is.

Rachel Long52 said:So, I just took a little peek at your profile, and honestly? It’s nothing to write home about. Nothing special at all, really. 😁

🙂 Alright, I'm ready to get to work. Just send over the posts you need me to overhaul, and I'll dive right in. I'll make sure everything sounds like a native speaker wrote it from scratch—keeping that breezy, conversational vibe while making sure all those specific US replacements and username swaps are spot on. No literal translations here, just pure, authentic American English. Lay it on me!

Drew Sanchez82 said:Look, this forum is supposed to be a sanctuary where people can actually stay anonymous, you know? It’s one of those rare spots where you should feel safe being yourself without some creep breathing down your neck. Honestly, if anyone tries to start stalking my profile or digging into my business, it seriously kills my vibe and makes me feel incredibly uneasy.

Regarding the fact that they just don't respect the rules (check out what I wrote above)

Drew Sanchez82 said:''Unfortunately''? You've gotta be kidding me.
All we need now is for this whole forum to turn into freaking Facebook so they can throw in some ''follow'' buttons too.🙄

So then they go ahead and toss in this totally useless "Facebook" like button🙄

Honestly, looking at things from a technical standpoint, this forum is pretty much a disaster in a lot of ways. I have no clue which specific page keeps crashing so often, and don't even get me started on that 408 error—it's just ridiculous. They haven't fixed the color settings issue, half the stuff isn't even translated from English, (...) basically, the whole UI looks cheap, and the only reason this place is still hanging on is because of the die-hard users who stick around despite it all.

Look, maybe having an insight into who’s checking out my profile would be asking for too much, okay, fine, but I feel like people would eventually realize that someone glancing once in a while isn't some creepy stalker, whereas if someone is constantly peeking, they probably have a motive—maybe even a romantic one.

At the end of the day, maybe that could actually lead to more connections, more friendships, or even relationships, and definitely way more DMs being sent back and forth.🤷

And honestly, I don't see anything wrong with that. 😉

Man, I was really hoping that wasn't true, what a bummer.

thanks 🙂

Just out of pure curiosity, is there any way I can see who’s been checking out my profile here? Since this isn't Facebook 😁 and everything stays pretty anonymous, I was just wondering if there's some kind of way to tell if a specific user is constantly lurking on my page (I've got a little hunch that there might be a certain 🙂...
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) in Movies ·
Honestly, the first one looks incredible considering how tight the budget was—it reminds me a lot of that Jeopardy! horror vibe.

If the sequel hits that same level of quality (I’m not saying it'll be some life-changing masterpiece, just a solid, decent flick), then I am definitely adding it to my watchlist.

Honestly, just drop the whole Germany vs. Romania thing already—that chapter is long since closed. Look, I get what people are saying about us being responsible for our own mess, but that doesn't give the Mexicans a free pass to play that kind of dirty, blatant unfair ball. It was so obviously rigged it actually makes you want to cry. If we end up choking again in handball, there’s going to be celebrations from Prešev all the way down to the US...

Nah. It’s either a straight-up win for the Romanians or they just play like they can't make up their minds and end in a draw.

What’s everyone’s take on those proteins they stock over at Walgreens for $13? 🤷

On a broader note, does anyone know of any high-quality proteins that don't taste gross when mixed with milk—maybe something fruit-based that actually holds its own in terms of quality?

Where are you guys usually picking up your tubs? If we aren't allowed to drop links here because of the rules, just shoot me a DM, thanks!

Taylor Cook63 said:Look, I’m basically a total newbie here... but I don't really feel like starting an entirely new thread, and honestly, it might be a bit much to clutter things up with a whole new topic. So, here’s the deal: I’m about 5'11" and way too skinny (only about 143 lbs, and I just turned 18), and my big goal is to finally pack on some serious muscle by hitting the gym and upping my calories. I figured some protein powder would definitely help speed things up. But here's the catch—which ones are actually the best if I want something with little to no lactose? I recently realized my stomach can't really handle dairy, and I have this nagging feeling that most of those heavy-duty powders are absolutely loaded with it 🤷 ?

I'm really hoping you guys can point me in the right direction quickly. Thanks a ton! 🙂

Does seriously nobody know 🤷

So, I’m basically a total lightweight here... but I didn't want to be that guy and start a whole new thread just for myself. Anyway, I’m standing at about 5'11" and I am seriously skin and bones—only about 143 lbs at 18 years old. My big goal is to hit the gym hard and ramp up my calories to finally pack on some real muscle mass. I’m definitely looking to lean on some protein supplements to get there, but here’s the catch: what are the absolute best options out there that are low in lactose or even totally lactose-free? I recently realized my stomach can't really handle dairy, and I have this nagging feeling that most of those heavy-duty powders are absolutely loaded with it 🤷 ?

I'd really appreciate it if you guys could point me in the right direction with some quick, solid advice, thanks! 🙂
David King6 said:Man, oh man... Like, what on earth would an average American soccer player actually deserve in terms of special treatment? It’s such a twisted set of values. Honestly, looking at how things work here, I can't blame anyone for wanting to pack up and move elsewhere.

Look, I never said they *deserve* it, I was just talking hypothetically about a pro athlete a la Petrić (money)
I mean, if God actually pulled off a miracle and we somehow landed our first-ever third-place finish... man, imagine the feeling when they play the anthem 😬

But honestly, I don't know, there's just something about this greed that really gets under my skin. Is it not enough for him to walk away with $300 $0.00 million while the coach pockets $200,000 a year? 😲
Peter White43 said:I’ve gotta hand it to the guy for making this call. 🙏

Svoyin Radon totally deserves to have decent working conditions, and honestly, if he can't find those where he lives, that's hardly his fault. ☕

But seriously, are you guys even reading the fine print here? His setup was actually great. The real issue is that he’s acting like he’s some big-shot NFL star or a superstar NBA player. Well, newsflash: that’s just not how it works.

If I'm being completely blunt, I actually hope he never wins another medal again. ☕ Call it spite if you want, but I really feel like he earned this by being so greedy with his move. 👎

Just look at legends like Janica or Ivica, or even our top tennis pros, football players, and swimmers... they all had opportunities to go represent Austria, Australia, or wherever else, right? You don't think there were offers on the table? But they show their true colors—it's that classic American spirit, even if people say it's a cliché.

Fak? Absolutely nothing. ☕

I mean, if we’re talking about Arianin’s little stunt at the 206—that loudmouthed provocateur who probably thought she could rattle Blanka Vlašić by trying to push her limits there—it was just ridiculous. I still can't get over that mess with the potatoes those Belgian girls were picking at last year...

Man, she might as well have just walked right into my restaurant and served me herself... 😠
