Your old man's an idiot... just let it go.
If I were there, I’d probably get up and clear out just because the kid won't stop crying—I know firsthand how much that grates on everyone else's nerves.
And honestly, if I were sitting at the table waiting for my order, I'd either be giving you the side-eye or just straight-up ignoring you... unless, of course, you're a total knockout, then maybe you'd get a pass🙂...though even then, it really comes down to what kind of mood I'm in. If the vibe was right, I might even let it slide.
People head to a coffee shop to unwind, catch up with friends, or maybe just escape their hectic lives for a bit—only to be met with all that noise.
Look, you can call it "forgiving" if you want, but to me, it just feels selfish. If I owned the place, I'd tell you don't worry about the bill, but please—get it together if the kid is going to keep screaming.
I can’t quite get on board with the idea that what’s being said here is pointless.
After all, who knows how many people have hit rock bottom—standing right on the edge of suicide—only to find the strength to dive headfirst into something they’d normally never consider?
Honestly, I believe plenty of them actually found a sense of fulfillment in those wild choices they made.
To me, it seems a bit foolish to take your own life when you've already reached that "I don't give a damn" stage—if you're already there, you might as well go big and do something crazy instead.
Like, why not plot a massive heist, dive into a life of crime, disappear into the unknown, or even walk into Congress with a bomb...🙂.....
Everyone’s out there fighting for something—we all need our own little battles to stay sane.
If it isn't for a grand cause, then at least it's for the satisfaction of seeing the neighbor's face when you pull up in a shiny new junker right in front of their driveway.🙂
Alright, F1 "experts"—let's hear it. Give me your predictions for tomorrow's pole position?!?!?!?... I've got a long night ahead of me, and honestly, I'm not sure if I'll have the headspace to put together a decent analysis for my bets.
I’m expecting a strong showing from Vettel during the race, but as for pole... I'm undecided. I haven't really had the luxury of sitting down to crunch the numbers today or yesterday.
My gut says Hamilton takes pole, but then something goes sideways during the race... wouldn't surprise me, seeing how many drivers tend to struggle after a solid previous performance. And remember, Vettel wasn't actually retired last time—he was just sitting in 22nd because the team told him to pull the car in.
Part degradation is going to be a massive factor here, and frankly, people aren't paying enough attention to it... just look at the results for Button and Vettel at Spa compared to what happened at Monza ?!??!?
A coincidence?!??!?!?!?
It’s going to be a long night.................... setting my alarm for 1:40 PM. I want predictions, but please—only from the serious enthusiasts.
I honestly doubt anyone’s making real money off an offer like this tonight... we already had two pretty solid days of picking up wins.
The only real way to play this is to wait for the live betting—you need to see who actually shows up, how much heart they're putting into it, and what the starting lineups look like first.
Then again, anything can happen in this game... so just use your head.
Bringing the dead back to life🙂
Where in the US can I pick up this strip?

I just feel this constant pull to never wake up again, to stop existing in this void while waiting for some better life or a better chance for a soul that feels fundamentally broken. It’s a struggle between the urge to live and the urge to just end all this suffering and drift off into some unknown place. Somewhere that isn't necessarily better or worse, just unknown. That’s what interests me. Writing this is hard. There's this heavy weight on my chest, pulling me down, yet I never actually hit bottom. I never get to reach that floor where everything finally stops and the pain vanishes. I just keep sinking, feeling weaker every day, while putting on a front for the world. But the reality I show people is a lie; it's just a bad reflection of how I actually am. I don't want to share this realization with anyone else. I’ve come to believe that from the moment we are born, we are sentenced to be our own judge, witness, friend, and enemy. No matter how much people try to push a different version of reality on you just to fool themselves, it doesn't change anything. As I finish this, I'm thinking about the dreams I had during my last detachment from reality. The only reaction they trigger is this exact feeling, which kills my hope that maybe I’m just a sociopath who doesn't care about anyone's feelings, including my own. Sociopaths can't feel this kind of soul-crushing pain. I guess I just hope there comes a day when I'm gone from this world. A day when my drowned soul finally surfaces and can actually breathe again.
Heavy stuff🙏
I’d say you have to fight for anything—even if it turns out to be some massive, pointless nonsense, as long as it matters to you personally... because without that drive, we’re finished.
It’s just like the laws of nature; those who won't step up, the ones who lack that grit, they simply get trampled. It’s how our world works—unfortunate, I know, but that’s just the reality of it.
Today we've got Montpellier vs FC Barcelona... and I'm putting my final chips on this duo.
I'm feeling confident about FC Barcelona—it’s pretty obvious they play on a completely different level than Real Madrid when they face off—and Montpellier is going to make the most of their home turf against a depleted squad.
Max bet, max bet.
Hey folks 🙂... I could use a little advice from the group.
I've never messed with ADHD meds or anything similar before, but I’m thinking about trying something—mostly because I have some big job interviews coming up and I really don't want my nerves to get the better of me.
Basically, I'm looking for something I can take beforehand to help me chill out and take the edge off.
If the Utah Jazz can find their rhythm and pull it off before Boston—especially since Allen is out and Rajon Rondo is a game-time decision—they might have a shot... plus, the Orlando Magic are riding a two-game win streak, and if they pick up a third in a row, it’s game over. But honestly, that tip-off isn't until 4:00 AM, so I didn't even bother looking at them.
Looks like both of them might be sitting this one out.
James over 27.5 and Toronto +19.5... let's go, load 'em up!

How can you be so sure Bosh isn't playing? — I'm just trying to avoid another situation like that day with the Chicago Bulls and Rose.
A quick little off-topic question—I could use some help here...
Does anyone happen to know what time the Chase branches close today?
Jamie Newman5 said:The answer is pretty straightforward. It’s because my schedule tomorrow is already stacked, and the day after that is just as bad. If I push something off today, tomorrow becomes an absolute nightmare.
Blessed are those who actually manage to find free time these days. I have no clue how they pull it off—unless they aren't busy raising kids, I guess. If you don't have little ones constantly needing something, then sure, maybe it's possible.
I’m looking forward to my first real break in about twenty years once the kids finally grow up. Though, by then, relaxing will probably be impossible anyway. Old habits die hard.
Honestly, @amberscout6, I find it incredibly difficult to connect with anyone who can't keep up. 🤷
I’m one of those people who is always in a rush—though I won't try to sell you on the idea that it's because I have a million responsibilities... sorry, but someone actually living in a constant hell of obligations wouldn't have managed to rack up 2,826 posts on this forum.
The people who are always in a frantic rush? They’re usually the ones with the thinnest skin—honestly, they just can't handle a little breathing room.🙂
Reading through these posts, I see myself reflected everywhere. I know exactly how it feels for those who have truly gone all-in on sports betting—and I’m not talking about the casual players dropping $10 or $6.75 just for the hell of it. I mean the people who spend most of their lives glued to a computer screen, grinding out data, analyzing matchups, and putting thousands of dollars on single plays.
As Google has pointed out, I’ve basically numbed myself to everything. Honestly, if there were enough action available 24/7—and if I didn't have these responsibilities I have to maintain just so my parents don't find out and absolutely kill me—I’d be betting around the clock. I'm 24, nearly finished with my Master's, and I'm already starting to panic about what happens when I enter the workforce. My plan is to head overseas—likely working on a cargo ship—to stay ahead of things.
And just like the original poster said, I’ve been doing this for years now. If I stick strictly to my system, I turn a profit. But I think the real issue is that we’re actually chasing that rush—that moment where you risk way too much and pray it hits. When you land a $700 windfall on a random Saturday night, nothing else compares. It’s hard to find anything else that can replicate that feeling. The saddest part is that I’m fully aware of my addiction. I know I won't be able to enjoy the simple, little things in life like normal people do as long as I’m gambling, yet I can't bring myself to walk away—and I'm not even sure I want to. It’s a curse, really. It brings an incredible amount of misery, but it also provides those unforgettable highs that keep us all stuck in this mess.
In my opinion, anyone who truly, deeply wants to quit can do it. The problem is that most people don't actually want to.
