It probably will, but how do you actually prove it? Usually, they want you to show the Visa card and make sure your name is clearly printed right on it (which is kind of the whole point of having your name on there in the first place)

Does anyone happen to know if this $1667 payment limit is a daily thing or more of a monthly cap?

Actually, doesn't even look like it's daily... feels more like it's per transaction. I managed to top up over 5,000 in a single day without any issues...
You aren't even using a Mastercard here; you’re paying straight through the PayPal app, regardless of whether you actually own a card or not. The payment shows up right in your transaction history, and if you need proof, you can just download the confirmation as a PDF.

And there’s absolutely nothing on it saying it's prepaid? If that's the case, it should work fine with Curve once they update their Bank of America lists... Otherwise, you'll have to send them a photo proving it's debit so they can fix it manually. Though, if the name doesn't match up, that might cause a headache...

Honestly, it’s not a great deal because if I’m doing a $333 withdrawal, I end up paying $10 plus 2%, which means an extra $6.75, so for a $1,000 payout, they actually take $1,030 from me, and while that isn't exactly a steal, it's just how they run their business.

ATM withdrawal fee in the US/EU $3.25 + 2%
So, if the minimum withdrawal is $33, and I try to pull out 100, they take 10 plus an additional 2% on top of what I withdrew? Does a $33 withdrawal actually end up costing me $37?
Yeah, it is.

Yeah, but honestly, I don't see the point... The fees are pretty much what you'd see at a big bank like Chase, and most fintech apps are usually way better about it—usually free up to a certain limit.
It’s no surprise with Curve since it’s just a prepaid card. You’ve gotta watch your step with Revolut, though; they usually insist the card actually matches your name...
Joseph Turner36 said:Well, I went ahead and got mine—already activated it too. I tried linking it to Curve, but it wouldn't take it... probably just because it's a prepaid card. Based on the BIN list, though, it looks like it's an American card, if you can actually trust those lists.
So, what’s the verdict on the build quality? Does it feel cheap, or does it actually have some weight to it? Is there any embossing involved...
So, the PayPal card fee schedule finally dropped. Honestly, looking at it, there doesn't seem to be any actual benefit over using the Visa co-branded card.
