Business cards—you know, those ones companies hand out so employees can cover work expenses. I don't think being a business card should automatically mean it’s strictly commercial, but there really ought to be some clear labeling on them. By the way, Chime hits you with a fee when you top up commercial cards. It's all because issuers are legally allowed to charge higher fees on those than they do for your personal stuff...
From what I can tell, topping up your EU credit or debit cards doesn't cost a thing (that 2% fee only hits the EU commercial accounts and anything from outside the EU).

Does anyone have any idea which kind of outlet would allow this, or what kind of foreign card we're looking at? EDIT: Just realized I missed something. In the later months, the numbers for domestic banks finally jumped above zero, whereas they were zero at the start. Meanwhile, those foreign card numbers were active early on and then dropped to zero later. These data points are incredibly weird...
The updates keep rolling in for me since I'm on the beta version, and honestly, it’s smooth sailing... no issues at all. It doesn't even bother me for a password, just asks for a fingerprint.
Maybe give it a shot using EcoPayz through Curve—assuming you can even get EcoPayz added to the app. Word on the street is that Curve has been messing around with MCCs lately; apparently, the MCC shows up differently when you go through them versus going direct. A few people were complaining about it on Reddit, but honestly, that might actually work in your favor...
Yeah, honestly, it all comes down to which specific card you're using. But the bottom line is the different MCCs involved. Some cards might be cool with both, some won't touch either, and others will let one slide while blocking the other...
