PayPal has two major flaws (and they aren't even bugs): 1. When you're sending money, it’s way too vague about which card you're actually pulling from. It’s incredibly easy to accidentally send funds from the wrong account—it happened to me... They really need to add a mandatory selection step if you have multiple cards linked, rather than just defaulting to whatever you used last. Or, at the very least, instead of just showing those last four digits at the top of the screen, they should display the actual card name. Most people don't walk around memorizing their full card numbers... 2. On the receiving end, if you have more than one account set up, the app should definitely ask where you want the cash to land instead of just dumping it into your primary account by default. As it stands, you have to designate a primary account ahead of time, but since you rarely know the exact second someone is going to hit "send," it’s easy to end up with the money hitting the wrong account (yeah, that happened to me too)
That wasn't even the real issue here. The headache started when the Federal Reserve slapped them with a massive fine because their AML protocols were a complete mess.
Mistertango just went under. They suspended all accounts because of some "regulatory decision" or whatever... If you've still got cash sitting in there, you need to fill out a form if you want to see any of it again.
Yeah, certain merchants can actually set up an agreement with JPMorgan Chase to accept payments via Oreo (and then JPMorgan Chase just skims their commission off the top for the service).

Also, if you want a little extra, there's a Chime code for $15 plus free shipping on the Cash App Card. You just plug it in when you're signing up through the Chime app on iOS or Android using code: TOMIS520
Just a heads-up on how this works—you won't see the cash immediately. You actually get the money once you finish your first transaction. Once that transaction clears—which can take a couple of days depending on how things process—it hits your account. This applies whether you're using the physical card, tapping with Apple Pay or Google Pay, or just buying stuff online.
Anyone actually managed to pull off a transfer from a Chase Global Account to any kind of card? I’ve been messing around with this lately and I’m hitting nothing but walls. Every time I try using my Bank of America Visa Revolving, my Bank of America Premium Visa, or even a Chime Visa, it just throws an error at me right after the card is successfully added and saved. As for the Revolut Mastercard (US Bank Identification Number), I can’t even get it to register—it won't accept it as an American card, and it won't take it as a card from the USA either... just keeps telling me it doesn't match. Transfers via bunq and US Mastercard seem fine on the Wise side, but then bunq or the US issuer just rejects them outright. I'm not even going to bother with Curve because I already know it won't support the initial deposit.
The Add to Apple Pay button finally popped up for me in the TW app. Managed to get my card linked to Apple Pay without any issues, though I haven't actually pulled the trigger on a purchase yet...

By the way, Remitly doesn't seem to have a minimum top-up amount. Just to test the waters, I literally did a top-up for a single cent and it went through without any fees. Once they realize what I just did, they'll probably freeze my account in a heartbeat. 🤣
p.s. You can't add it to Curve, likely because of that Brazilian BIN...
I doubt that's actually legal. Maybe the font is just tiny, or the text color blends right into the background (kind of like those Revolut Visas)?

Nah, it's just because it's prepaid (which is exactly what the error message says). People have been begging them on their forums to whitelist it, so maybe they'll add support in a month or two...
Kevin Morris12 said:Where on earth did you find that list? I’m actually thinking about checking out that local diner (if it's the one over by the square) 🤣
All I'm looking for is a solid list of cafes, restaurants, hair salons, and that's about it. Something along the lines of a failed Apple Wallet, PayPal, or George... honestly, I think George is the only one still somewhat hanging on, while the others have either completely folded or are doing so "well" that you can't even tell if they're still functioning.
It's right there in the app under B2B Payments. They don't give you much else besides the names—no addresses or anything useful...
