Is it just me, or is there still no way to select a specific number of posts per page? I’ve been hunting for the setting everywhere, which is actually how I stumbled upon this thread. First, they took away the text-only version of the forum, and now this... Since I rely on screen readers to get around, everything takes a bit longer for me. It feels like it'll take me three whole years to finish reading what used to take me ten minutes. ;(

I had my surgery at the end of July, and now I’m just counting down the days until my radioactive iodine treatment—should be happening in about twenty days or so...
I went in for an ultrasound today to check on the nodules. They actually did a biopsy, even though they told me everything looks fine visually...
The good thing about papillary carcinoma is that it tends to spread pretty slowly, which feels like a small silver lining.
I also put in a request for human TSH, and they approved it! That means I won't have to stop taking my Synthroid.
Once I get through the iodine treatment, I'll definitely post an update here with how everything went.
As for the surgery itself, it all went smoothly. My voice even stayed totally normal, which was a relief. I was a little hoarse on the first day, but honestly, I think that was just from the breathing tube and the anesthesia...
