I’m not following you. 🤔 Honestly, it’s straightforward: you order the kit, they ship it right to your door, you send the samples back to the lab, and then the results hit your inbox. The catch—if there is one—is that these tests aren't typically admissible in court because they lack specific judicial certification. Still, the accuracy is high.
Look, I don't really grasp all these numbers you're throwing around 😉 (though I respect the effort 😁), but if you decide to run it again, I can get you the exact details tomorrow on which lab to use and where to order from.
Look, Angela Bailey7, I won't go through his entire post, but I ran a DNA paternity test for my daughter and got a 98.9% match, which is more than enough for me. I don't need maternity testing because I am 100% certain she is mine 😛 but he—the biological father—went through the process by mailing a saliva sample to a lab in Canada via USPS. He didn't use a local clinic; it cost him about $250, and he'll send you the details via email. If you are truly dead set on repeating this, I can ask him exactly where he sent it, though I have the paperwork right here and it should specify the lab In my opinion, don't just throw money away for nothing. I'll send you a private message if you want the info
I honestly have no idea what you're getting at here... do you truly believe a test can be manipulated, or are you suggesting certain genetic overlaps are technically "impossible"
🙈 To be perfectly honest, I hadn't bothered reading the rules before, but I have now. So, my apologies.
That being said, I’m not going to walk back what I said. When I consider how bad my own situation is, I realize there are plenty of people out there dealing with much worse, and that should serve as a wake-up call. It’s as simple as that. Regarding the author—given everything you've been through, you really should have mastered the art of keeping a cool head or developing a bit of a thick skin by now. You'll be fine; the biggest mistake you can make is letting yourself get swept up in emotions that aren't even grounded in reality.

Life is tough for everybody, whether you're some prince or just struggling to get by—everyone cries about something, we're all human... Honestly, you should really take a second to think about what you actually have in life, and realize that most problems aren't actually that huge if they can be fixed. You just gotta put in the work. I'm actually in a pretty similar spot to this user—married, good job, money in the bank, savings and all—but man, we all have our own stuff that makes us question things or feel down from time to time...

The moment I actually made it in my career—I mean, I became the youngest director at a massive corporation at 27—everything else fell apart. My friends bailed, and so did my boyfriend. I came home with champagne to celebrate, only to find him packing his bags. He's one of those guys who can't handle a woman being more successful than him. Some friends turned jealous, and others just decided we had nothing left to talk about. As for my parents? There's nothing there. My dad thinks I'm incompetent and stupid, and he makes sure I know it. My mom is just terrified to say anything or stand up to him. I had big dreams—running ultramarathons, getting a PhD, becoming an executive, buying a house, traveling... I hit most of those marks, or they're right on the horizon. I've even got new goals, but clearly, I haven't figured out how to navigate this world yet. I end my days crying in a massive silk bed.
When I'm sad, what am I thinking about? Just how much I miss having someone to lean on and hold me.
🤣 🤣 sorry, but... 🤣 🤦
Look, lady, sorry, but I don't really have much sympathy for situations like yours. People deal with actual, life-altering crises, you know? Go online, browse any major US news site, pick up a newspaper, and actually read about what people are going through. Maybe then you’ll realize that your "struggle" is mostly internal and that you're actually doing quite well for yourself.
Stop whining about your "tragic" fate and try being useful to someone else for a change instead of just dwelling on yourself. 🙄
Every single server starts screaming under pressure here and there, but they usually manage to reboot without much of a fuss. 😳 I'm well aware of how that goes. 😬
I can't even count how many direct messages I've received from random active users on here, and honestly, some days I just don't have the energy to respond; I usually just ignore them, which I realize looks a bit rude (so consider this my apology to you all 😁), but seriously, someone sends you a private message that doesn't contain any insults or threats. I mean, really? 😕 If you aren't looking for DMs, just lock your inbox. If a stranger walked up to you on a street in Chicago just to ask about the weather, would you really call the cops? Just chill out. 😍
Lawrence Bailey77 said:IF I were doing that—which I am certainly not—then there would be no harm done because, as you put it, they "aren't capable of seeing" anything. 🙂 In other words, how exactly am I supposed to provoke someone who lacks the capacity for awareness in the first place..?
I’m actually gesturing toward general ignorance... social mass apathy... the herd mentality... 🙂 .. or perhaps those individuals who are either too bored with their own lives or simply lack the backbone to look in the mirror, so instead they project everything onto others and criticize, while failing to see themselves .. acting as if they aren't even part of this earthly existence.
p.s. I suppose anything can be interpreted as a provocation .. especially if one has the inclination to see it that way.🧐
ban Anthony Perez28 😢 .. thanks for the permission to exist 😍 lol, honestly, I wasn't even aware we knew each other quite this well ..
.. I hadn't realized until this moment that I had been cured, let alone that I was ever ill.. or that this forum was my physician .. ?!
.. well, since I'm already here, I might as well join the stage production and play the role I never asked for and certainly didn't seek out, though I suppose when "cruel life" forces a part upon you (not including those people who are just bored and toy with others' problems, whether real or imagined, just to make their own lives more interesting) .. one should probably play it as convincingly as possible, shouldn't they? .. and then what .. you wait for the critical reaction .. and then .. well, that's just the role, lol, it's not the meaning of life.
what do you think, Altec .. am I being ungrateful .. to this "forum" which supposedly cured me 😉 and this is how I repay it .. I'm just terrible .. and apparently, we all know each other so intimately .. as if we grew up together on the same street, lol.😵
A little dose of reality wouldn't hurt. Good luck.👍
What? 🤔 I remember your threads about suicide. That's all. You were right on the edge, and you were convincing. Actually, I'm glad that typing keeps you happy and distracts you from those thoughts. 😉 Virtual life is quite the performance, isn't it? 🙂
So, credit where credit is due for this site. 👍 😉
Back to the topic. I have about 50 scars, and I'd bet very few people have more than that. How do you live with it? Well, damn. Everyone carries their own weight. 🙂

Does anyone else get the feeling that certain tedious people are just... dragging everything down? What exactly isn't a concern for us?They read everything we write, analyzing every single word, and then they have the nerve to comment on it. 👋
They’ve lost their minds. 🙂
🤣 I couldn't care less what anyone thinks; frankly, I’ve reached a point where I simply don't give a damn about any of it. 😬
