But yeah, honestly, Animal Collective just has that "hate it or love it" vibe. For me, only Strawberry jam in The Flowers and MPP really hit the spot—everything else just didn't do it for me.
I’m with you on Under the pink being a slightly better album when it comes to the lyrics (pretty good year & Yes, Anastasia 🙏), but honestly? That piano work running through the whole of Little Earthquakes is just pure magic. I had to throw that one out there.
Since the regulars haven't dropped their picks yet, maybe they could extend the voting deadline until at least Saturday?
I'm pretty familiar with the shop and Let It Bleed, but if a bunch more albums get added, there's no way I'll have time to listen to everything.
They've definitely already got my vote: Let It Bleed—not even gonna go into it, Gimme Shelter is a total masterpiece. (The Clayton version is killer, but honestly, Fischer is more my vibe) Gavin's minimalist album is beautiful and hits right in that sweet spot for me, so yeah, definitely a vote there.

She's been sitting on my wishlist for ages, and this album is just the nudge I needed to finally give her a spin. Honestly? Zero regrets. Totally spot on. 👍
US Army Master of her Love and Affection🙂
Her Love and Affection has been glued to my Spotify playlists for forever now... man, what a magical voice. Her debut and What's Inside are my absolute favorites. Highly recommend!
I don't get why you're coming at Casilda like they're the only moderator running this entire subforum. There are five of them, and honestly, it’s highly likely they all have a hand in deciding whether to pull your posts or let them stay.
And hey, if they do decide to wipe your posts, I say you should just start a new thread in the Eurovision subforum called shampooing the Eurovision girls. I mean, from what I've seen, that's basically the kind of service you offer anyway.

I'm with you on that, that voice is just incredible and her jazzy R&B vibe is so smooth—her albums are easy listening at its best.
A bunch of other artists I dig ended up in the same boat: think Lauryn Hill, Kehlani, or maybe SZA. Honestly? I bet the massive push for Whitney Houston from radio stations, Arista, and all the big media outlets back then is the real reason why so many other Black female artists struggled to get that same level of traction during that era.
Honestly, Kraftwerk is one of those rare cases where I actually think their commercial stuff hits harder than those early debut albums. The *Klingklang* era just slapped me right in the face. 👍
1. Hunter 2. Jóga 3. Unravel 4. Bachelorette 5. All Neon Like 6. 5 Years 7. Immature 8. Alarm Call 9. Pluto 10. All Is Full of Love 11. Sod Off 12. So Broken 13. Nature Is Ancient
Honestly, I’m with you. I’d much rather deal with some anonymous underground stuff than have to sit through those "elite" concept albums everyone keeps obsessing over...
