I was watching some sports coverage earlier and it got me thinking about how much energy we pour into these massive, multi-day international competitions. There is always that specific window where everyone is glued to the screen, obsessing over the schedule and waiting for that one specific moment when a local hero might pull off something huge.

It’s funny how much it shifts the mood of a household or even a whole city. One day it’s total quiet, and the next, everyone is shouting at the TV and checking their phones every five minutes to see who's moving up in the rankings. I remember back in the day, we didn't have live updates every second, so the anticipation felt almost more tangible. Now, the constant stream of "what's coming up next" can feel a bit overwhelming if you aren't actually a die-hard fanatic.

I do love the spirit of it, but sometimes I wonder if we lose the appreciation for the actual skill when we're so caught up in the grind of the daily schedule and the "who's next" cycle. Do you guys find these big tournament seasons energizing, or do you find the constant buildup kind of exhausting?

When is management actually going to do something about this constant trolling across all the NRZ threads?

Someone’s out here cross-posting stuff from ARCHAEOLOGY into the "Nikola Tesla - ether exists..." thread.?

What's the point of this spamming?
It seems pretty obvious, right?

I really hope the mods are paying attention.

My last contribution to that thread was right here:
When ad hominem attacks get personal in Feedback & Suggestions ·
"So, you're just spewing nonsense again..."

"Maybe try actually focusing for once and answer the question about the composition of granite, diorite, and syenite. You've been dodging that since the pyramid thread regarding rock hardness. It applies here too, obviously..."

"And besides, if we really wanted to drag this out, I could list all the garbage you manage to cram into a single post..."

"But clearly, none of that is sinking into that thick skull of yours..."

"Sorry, Larry Sanchez30, but you're the one who made yourself a laughingstock. You don't even need anyone else to insult you or point out how clueless you are. You're doing it all by yourself..."

"Here we go, mods—go ahead and delete the post again!..."

If I said stuff like that, I’d be hit with a permanent ban immediately.

How do we speed up time?

We say things like: "I still have to do this and that," "I need to finish this one thing," "I've got so much left to do," or "I'll never get through all this." What does it feel like when those thoughts start looping in our heads? It’s stress. Pure, frantic stress. And the more stressed and rushed you feel, the more it feels like time is slipping through your fingers. Those "I must" and "I need to" loops? They are the ultimate enemy of anyone trying to actually live their life or feel like they have enough time to breathe.

Look, we can get plenty done without constantly running those mental marathons. Honestly, those thoughts aren't even necessary. You just do the work—one thing at a time—without obsessing over the next task. If it helps, write a to-do list and let it sit there so you don't have to carry it in your brain. When you stop worrying about the next project, you can actually enjoy what's right in front of you. And that has nothing to do with the actual "amount of time" available.
When we're trapped in the mindset of "time" and the constant pressure of "having to," enjoyment dies.

But when we step outside that loop of time and obligation—when we enter that timeless state—that's when we actually live.

Time kills joy.

If we want to enjoy ourselves more (no matter what we're doing), if we want to feel like we're on vacation more often, stay relaxed, or feel and look younger, we have to return to timelessness. To the Los Angeles Sun. To the truth about time.

Time, as we perceive it, isn't even real. It’s just an idea. A concept we use for practical reasons. But in reality? It doesn't exist.

All that exists is life unfolding.

Even the "present moment" isn't really a moment. It isn't some tiny slice of time; it exists outside of time altogether. Timeless. Eternity in miniature.

We say, "Time is passing." But have we ever actually seen it pass? Where does it go? Does it drift down a street? Float through the air? Where is it? I don't see it. All I see is kids growing up, people getting old, and things shifting around. Life just happens. I see clock hands spinning, sure. But I don't see time.
Time is this abstract concept we use to explain all the changes we witness, whether it's the movement of a clock hand or the lines appearing on a face. But here’s the thing: those changes aren't caused by time itself. They happen because of various physical mechanisms that trigger change.
Clock hands stop when the gears break. If they stop, would you honestly say time has stopped? Of course not. It's obvious the hands aren't measuring time—if they were, they'd never stop as long as time was moving. It's the same with wrinkles. They come from biological processes inside the body, and they hit some people faster than others. If time were actually pulling the strings, we'd all be aging at the exact same rate.
So, who's really creating time?
Maybe someone will argue, "Okay, fine, I can't see it, but I feel it. I feel time passing." What exactly is that feeling? Think about it. What is that sensation, really? Can you actually feel time?

I see everyone’s debating how fast time seems to be slipping through our fingers lately, so I figured I’d drop some interesting findings here that might actually offer an explanation.

Why is Earth's Schumann resonance speeding up?

Is Earth's frequency actually accelerating? Given that people claim the Schumann frequency is "in sync" with the human brain (specifically alpha and theta states), could this acceleration be why everything feels like it's moving at warp speed? Maybe that's why life events seem to be hitting us faster than ever.

At first, they assumed it was just a glitch in their equipment, but after running the checks, they confirmed the data is legitimate.

Verbal abuse is running rampant here on Alternative. But honestly, how much it gets to you depends entirely on how much weight you give it. At the end of the day, controlling cyberbullying is supposed to be the moderators' job, yet we see them completely failing to step up.
A moderator should act as an observer outside the "line of fire," which would actually allow them to enforce the established rules without bias.

One way to finally put an end to the cyberbullying this forum desperately needs to stop is through moderator education—teaching them how to actually recognize what bullying looks like. Catching cyberbullying early is the only way to keep it under control.

It’s pretty obvious the forum moderators are letting this ugly behavior slide, even after being warned by the supermoderators. It really makes you question their "seriousness" about actually doing the job.

Their excuses about worrying over someone's health—whether it's about eating certain foods or staring at the sun or whether water is "alive"—don't justify tolerating cyberbullying, which can just as easily wreck someone's mental health.
A total shake-up is definitely needed .

Don't go thinking for a second that I’m anyone's lapdog. Just take a look back through my posts—read through all the insults I've swallowed without even bothering to report them. To be honest, I don't see much point in flagging every bit of rudeness; the moderators will just delete it anyway. Leaving it as it is serves a better purpose—it stands as a permanent testament to people who, once they run out of actual arguments, immediately resort to personal attacks.

Some of you seem quite concerned about my signature. For those of you mentioned in it, feel free to step up and claim you didn't write those things, or argue that I've stripped your words of their context. If my signature bothers you that much, then it's actually working—it means you've finally realized the sheer nonsense you're spewing (or so I'd hope). My signature isn't a sign of my own weakness; rather, it's an indicator of the intellectual state of the people listed within it.

The ones attacking the moderators are usually the same crowd lacking any real substance behind their claims—people peddling theories about fake heliocentric systems, the idea that the Earth is a hollow shell with a ten-thousand-kilometer radius inhabited by lizards, the Flat Earth nonsense, or claims of eating forty hours a day, or some talk about a fourth state of matter beyond gas, liquid, solid, and plasma... honestly, it would be a sin not to use these as prime examples of pure ignorance. Or the ones claiming pharaohs lying in sarcophagi filled with molten metal are traveling through deep space... The moderators are more than fair, even toward those who constantly lie and insult others (and yes, I am referring to certain PDF files I've documented).

Do you really think there shouldn't be a reaction to lies, forgeries, plagiarism, fabrications, or planted misinformation? If we didn't push back, those falsehoods would remain etched in the record, and eventually, someone might actually mistake them for the truth.

Just because you copy-paste "knowledge" from Wikipedia onto these threads doesn't mean you actually know anything about the topics discussed on NRZ!
In your "signature," you cherry-pick snippets out of context just to try and "discredit" the people you're debating, simply because their thoughts and views don't fit into your Wikipedia-based education.

Take that thread "Who actually built the Great Pyramid in Giza?? The Facts..."
"
You're basically trying to force a "dead man" into the Great Pyramid using nothing but Wikipedia "verses."

And you try to mock and belittle every other fact and piece of evidence. What's the goal there?

To justify a mountain of lies that have never been proven?

Are you really hiding behind your "higher education"?

Linda Moore51 said:Jason, you're getting it wrong again. My signature follows every single forum rule and doesn't offend anyone. My signature is simply a reflection of what that person actually stated; it's just a record of what they wrote.

Wrong again. If someone claims mushrooms are growing on Mars without providing a shred of evidence, it's ridiculous and stupid. Similarly, if someone tries to claim the proof that water is alive is found in the sound of water screaming through radiator pipes, that's also just absurd. What happens to the water in the summer then? Does it suddenly feel great sitting in the radiators?

Jason, I strongly suggest you actually read what this person writes and pay attention to how they write; maybe you'll finally see the pattern.
But look, Jason, if you aren't aware of it, you are essentially trolling or spamming this thread right now because we aren't discussing the topics you were rambling about in your last few posts. We are talking about something else entirely. Hint: just look at the title of the thread.
That said, I'll join you in that sentiment. I've told you before: the biggest issue with the Alternative crowd is the blatant lying in their posts. As you know, I've caught you lying three times myself. Furthermore, using "one man said..." and a link to Matrixworld as proof is 😁.
As for BAT kolo and the moderation there, it's fine. Honestly, it couldn't be any better given the absolute chaos being written here, as I've mentioned before.
By the way, my thanks to BAT kolo for the warning shot they gave me the other day. 😁

Look at how this troll communicates with the rest of us!

There's zero respect for anyone's name here, let alone anything else.

Jason Grant said:Regarding the Alternative group and how Linda Moore51 keeps using her signature just to mess with Elizabeth Cruz, does that count as "harassing others" in a derogatory way? Given how much she constantly insults Elizabeth Cruz, it’s clearly not a pleasant situation for her.
Also, over on the Alternative-On the edge of natural science subforum, whenever someone asks who built the pyramids, it's just a pack of trolls posting solely to get a rise out of Elizabeth Cruz.
Ryan Gomez4 actually warned them about this a few months back, but for these trolls, their only source of mental stimulation is mocking Elizabeth Cruz in the most disrespectful ways possible.
Since we're dealing with someone in the later stages of life, using terms like "old man, you have no clue" or "gramps" is definitely out of line.

By using those signatures (Linda Moore51, Alex Williams4), they're really just exposing their own helplessness and showing exactly why they even bother coming to this forum!

Do the forum rules actually allow these kinds of "signatures"?

This is how they communicate:

Let's try this again.
You basically just copy-pasted this post:

And honestly, I’m not even going to address the beginning where you’re clearly just venting your own frustrations because, frankly, you don't have any clue what you're talking about.
First off, the very post you ripped is actually about the "scientist" you're trying to cite, which is incredibly hypocritical given how much you despise actual science.
Then, Ethan Brooks59 spends about an hour and a half proving you weren't paying attention, pointing out via this post

exactly which "scientist" we're dealing with and why they have zero credibility.
So, I wrote exactly what I think.

Now, let's look at my signature. Can you point out one single lie in there? Are you going to pretend you didn't say those things? Don't bother lying—I'll just drop a link to your own words.

Are you just being paranoid? What kind of motive would I even have, and for what?
Maybe my only intention is to expose the liars and thieves 😁

Once again, you're dodging the issue by throwing out insults and diagnoses!

Go back and read your own words in the reported post.

If you think a post doesn't fit the topic, or if you just don't like someone reporting you, report them yourself and let the moderator decide on the penalties.

Look, just think for a second before you start typing.
So, let me get this straight. You think stealing other people's work—mostly just mindless drivel, anyway—and lying through your teeth is perfectly fine, but the second someone calls you out for being a hack, an idiot, or a fraud, suddenly it’s a problem?
So, what, you don't have any moral scruples left?

Read the reported post again!

I can't believe I'm still seeing this. Every single time someone brings up this topic, we end up right back here. It’s exhausting. The level of delusion required to believe this isn't just bad—it's bordering on fringe science at this point. You see people like Larry Sanchez30 trying to spin these wild theories, acting like they've uncovered some hidden truth, when really they're just chasing ghosts. It’s all smoke and mirrors. And then you have Ethan Brooks59 chiming in with that typical "well, actually" attitude, as if providing a slightly different angle changes the fundamental absurdity of the situation. It doesn't. It just adds more noise to an already deafening conversation. Honestly, why do we even bother? We debate, we argue, we cite our sources, and yet the same misconceptions persist like a bad habit. It's a cycle that never ends. If people would just look at the actual data instead of clinging to these desperate narratives, we might actually get somewhere. But no. That’s too much to ask.

Take a good look at what you just said.

And take a good look at your own signature.

What exactly are you playing at?
Cutting Edge Science: Part V in Feedback & Suggestions ·
That doesn't make the reported post any less of an issue.
Cutting Edge Science: Part V in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Offering this kind of "forgiveness" after insults is thrown around just invites more of the same from other users—people whose intentions are already crystal clear.

After the moderator has issued warning after warning after warning about how people should behave here, failing to actually sanction a reported user shows a total disregard for the rules. Whether those rules were even properly established in the first place is anyone's guess, but clearly, they aren't being enforced.
Cutting Edge Science: Part V in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Is this user's signature actually following the forum rules?

"1.)"The Sun doesn't have the composition described in our textbooks, and there's no such thing as thermonuclear fusion. It’s much more logical and natural to view it as a massive oscillation of a giant crystal at its core"—rocky&lunatic
2.)The Law of Stupidity states: "The amount of stupidity exhibited by rocky and lun remains constant." "

Isn't that just straight-up harassment?

Are we really allowed to put stuff like that in a signature?
Cutting Edge Science: Part V in Feedback & Suggestions ·
The insults, the trolling, the baiting, and the endless spamming just keeps going... and still zero response from the mods.

Jerry White29 said:President, I read your DM and honestly, still nothing. Still using that "they" phrasing all over the place.
But whatever, that's your take. I have no intention of changing your mind, nor am I capable of it.
I'm still trying to find the logic connecting giants, dragons, and the school system. Why is teaching one thing banned while teaching about dinosaurs is perfectly fine?

I get it, I'm being annoying. I know why. But I’m not buying these random assertions if there isn't actual evidence to back them up.

And you aren't providing any proof for what you're saying. That’s why you hate it when someone questions you—because it makes it too easy to see that you're either lying or you're just completely clueless and full of it.

Kimberly White63 said:I don't consider linking posts to be an insult.

So, after a moderator responds like that regarding his behavior and his signature, am I allowed to respond in the exact same way without getting penalized? Or is this just one-way communication?

Look, I’m not looking for your excuses here. I want an answer from the site admins—people who actually respect the rules we all agreed to follow on this forum.
