restlesstiger102, you watched a movie where the vibe is everything... you really need to get lost in the story and just immerse yourself in it. So, how did you manage to jump on the forum to comment at the 40-minute mark?! :/ My favorite kind of people are those who decide to throw on a movie at 2:00 PM on a random weekday while they're busy cooking or doing something else entirely, and then turn around and say the movie isn't scary, or it's boring, or it makes no sense, etc., etc. If you actually want to enjoy this movie properly, you have to set the right mood. It’s definitely not a movie for a group hang (unless you just want to laugh at the "stupid" scenes), it’s not a weekday afternoon flick, it’s not meant for a tiny screen, and it certainly isn't for low volume!
Pop punk doesn't even exist XD I refuse to accept it as a legitimate genre... it’s a walking contradiction... an absolute oxymoron! Look, it's worth giving the new album at least one listen, just so you know what we're dealing with... I'm going to try to get through a few listens myself, maybe something will actually stick...
He brings this clever little sense of balance to the mix, acting as a really sharp agent to offset English... he’s basically there to save the day! It’s just like having that reliable sidekick back in the first movie!
I don't really keep up with all those member updates... Genre-wise, I’ve always been a sucker for that early California HC punk scene. I think the Misfits are awesome, especially back when they had Graves, and then obviously with Danzig. I haven't really connected with their later stuff, though... maybe I just need to give Danzig's solo work a few more listens to see if it grows on me!
I think he was talking about the band members themselves, you know, like the current lineup, rather than how they actually sound. If we’re looking at it from a musical standpoint, there isn't even a hint of Black Flag in there... they're playing totally different subgenres.

Anyway, the album is terrible. It just isn't the Misfits anymore. I can tolerate the Graves era, but what they're doing now is just plain bad... I was actually holding out hope that after more than 10 years, they'd find some fresh inspiration... but nope... looks like they just want to squeeze out whatever cash they can before they kick the bucket...
The album is currently the top-selling punk record on Amazon... it's almost impossible to find a pirated version 😬 and besides, it's probably not worth the data usage, even if you have unlimited 😉
I don't quite see eye to eye with you there (personally, I actually dig the Graves era more than Danzig... they felt more my style, plus Graves has such a killer stage presence, even if they were undeniably at their peak with Danzig) regarding them just chasing a paycheck before they go. Honestly, I think Jerry genuinely loves this stuff and puts in the work because he enjoys it (I feel like money stopped being the motivator a long time ago, if it ever was)... but I do agree the album is pretty bad. Like a buddy of mine put it, it sounds like some random band trying to play horror punk, and they aren't exactly killing it... The album has a couple of decent tracks, but overall it's just boring, one-note, and honestly kind of sad to see a legendary name and a band this powerful produce something so weak. Though, I have to say, the cover art is delicious... I personally think it's awesome!
Man, 😢 I’ve gotta say, I’m pretty disappointed... and I’m a huge fan of Rowan, but even he couldn't save a script this bad. The first one was fantastic, but this? This is just a mix of pure boredom and some seriously, seriously lame jokes. Such a bummer!

To be honest, I thought both PA movies were actually pretty solid and interesting... I managed to uzivjsti through both of them. They aren't exactly cinematic masterpieces, but they tied everything together nicely, and I had a good time! I'm definitely going to watch the third one too, though I'm not really setting any expectations.

Look, I'm not saying he isn't important or anything. It's more that Cameron didn't have much to do with this one. He produced certain parts, sure, but you just don't feel his presence anywhere in the movie. It doesn't feel like his creation at all... 😉

What I was getting at is that if you just want pure, unadulterated speed, nothing beats Anal Cunt. It's right on the edge of being totally senseless. Honestly, it’s hard to actually sit and listen to it... maybe it's just something you blast for a laugh once in a while...

I had no idea you couldn't hit full HD through an HDMI port, let alone that it could look worse than VGA. That's news to me...
I don't really plan on watching movies on my PC anyway; I'll mostly be doing video editing, so I definitely need to make sure whatever monitor I pick has a DVI-D input.
Both of the monitors I was looking at should be perfectly fine in that regard then.
EDIT: Did a little digging online, and apparently HDMI should be identical to DVI-D, just with the added bonus of carrying audio. The video signal itself should technically be the same thing...
