Wait, do you mean David Gilmour?
There’s a fair bit of variety in the setlists on this tour, though they mostly stick to performing about half of these albums:
Wish You Were Here
Animals
The Wall
The Division Bell
The Dark Side of the Moon

(By "half," I mean like a single side of an LP—you know, 🙂—kind of like how things used to work back in the day with cassette tapes)

+ all the classics; stuff like One of These Days, and so on.

From what I can tell, it looks like they’ve upgraded the lighting setup a bit compared to the last tour. They’ll probably bring out the lasers when they hit Europe, too—but honestly, I really don't want to end up watching some watered-down, stripped-back version of the show again.

There won't be any Jeka this time, 🙂
but I guess we'll get Dogs instead. 😉

I mean, wasn't it the production quality that kept the visuals from really hitting home for you? :/
Just check out some clips on YouTube to see how it's supposed to look when they actually have their full rig set up.
It really only works if they play in a massive arena...
if the venue is too small, the production quality just won't cut it—it'll feel stripped back, and honestly, the whole vibe just won't hit the way it's supposed to.
The first one is honestly incredible
the rest of them? I don't know... they're just okay, I guess..
So, I was scrolling through the Facebook page for the event, and I noticed the organizers are already hinting that Brit Floyd might be heading back to our neck of the woods next year.
Apparently, they’re looking at booking a much bigger venue—think Madison Square Garden vibes—so the whole production is going to be massive. They're talking about leveling up the show with lasers and all those other cool effects...
The music was great, but man, the light show totally fell short—mostly just because they chose to play in this tiny venue that clearly couldn't fit all their gear (I mean, why wouldn't they just hit up Madison Square Garden instead, which is way bigger?! )

Everywhere else on this American tour they had the full setup, but in the US... it was just underwhelming, honestly. Such a letdown.

Just look at how they performed Run Like Hell in Ottawa compared to what we got here 😢

I am seriously counting down the days until those Brits arrive...
Judging by what I've seen on YouTube, this might be the closest thing we'll ever get to seeing the actual Floyd...🙂
