Drew Reed2 said:Thanks for the reply 😊 I’m definitely gonna check in with my primary care doctor. Another thing eating at me is this weird "vibration" in my legs that started up about a month ago (not sure if it's stress or what). It feels like some kind of electrical current running through my feet and a bit higher up. It’s a super uncomfortable feeling that honestly scares me because it just feels so unnatural. When it first happened, I actually thought my phone was vibrating somewhere under me. I can even feel it when I touch the surface of my skin. My family already thinks I’m losing it with this story, but I’m really worried and wondering if this is tied to the stool issues, the fever, and this blood work. I already deal with Restless Leg Syndrome, which I’m used to—cramps, tingling, whatever—but this is totally new and different. Makes me wonder if my RLS has gotten worse. 🙂Has anyone else dealt with anything like this? Also, does anyone know if you can get a 98.6°F fever from stress? It feels like it spikes during a stress attack and then just drops back down on its own two hours later. Thanks in advance

You mentioned stress... look, anxiety shows up in all kinds of ways. If you do a little digging on Google, you'll find plenty about how anxiety manifests physically, and I think a lot of what you're dealing with fits right in (including the stool stuff). Try to figure out what might be triggering it. Are you sweating something specific, or is there pressure at work, in your relationship, or whatever? Pay attention to when the symptoms hit—do they pop up right after a stressful moment, or are they just constantly hanging around?

I'm 27, had my blood work done on Feb 17th.

Result Unit Ref range
Leukocyte 5.0 x10^9/L 3.4-9.7

Neutrophil
granulocytes 51.7 rel% 44-72

Neutrophil
granulocytes 2.60 x10^9/L 2.06-6.49

CRP 0.6 mg/L <5.0

So: everything looks fine (everything else was within range too)

Got more blood drawn at a different clinic on March 4th, so 15 days later:

Result Unit Ref range
Leukocyte 3.3L G/L 3.4-9.7

Neutrophil
granulocytes 1.5L G/L 2.0-7.5

Neutrophil
granulocytes
% 47 L % 50-75

Dealing with a bunch of symptoms but I have no clue what might be linked to this.
Frequent loose stools (recently tested positive for Norovirus)
could these results be related to that?
Feeling slightly sluggish and sometimes running a temperature of 98.6°F—hit it twice in the last 15 days—and I've been under massive stress the whole time.
Please help, what do you guys think?

I'm no expert, but those don't look like major deviations to me. Loose stools could just be IBS (you mentioned being stressed, and that's usually the biggest trigger). That fever isn't even high, and if I remember correctly, temps tend to run a bit higher during the second half of your cycle (post-ovulation until your period starts), so keep that in mind.

Taylor Doyle76 said:Sipping some tea right now. Thanks. Grabbed some 15% CBD too, so we'll see if that does the trick.

Don't mention it. Hope it helps a bit. It sucks, but try not to obsess over the symptoms. Just relax as much as you can.

As for symptoms, I have quite a few, but I have no clue what might be linked to these numbers.

I'm feeling slightly lethargic and occasionally run a low fever of about 98.6°F. I've "caught" it twice in the last 15 days, and honestly, I've been under intense stress during this entire period.
Please help me out. What do you all think?

Not a pro, but those don't look like huge deviations to me. Loose stools could just be IBS (you mentioned being stressed, and stress is the biggest trigger for gut issues). As for the temperature, check if it's happening during the second half of your cycle (post-ovulation)—it can stay slightly elevated until your period starts, so factor that in. Definitely talk to your primary care doctor, but don't freak out. Stress is hell on the body.

If you want to go the natural route, try sipping some lemon balm tea a few times a day. Or, if you want something easier, just grab some herbal Persen Forte capsules—you can get those over the counter at any CVS. Personally, I find it works best to stick to the natural stuff during the day and save the normabel for right before bed to help me wind down.
But look, the real kicker is finding out what’s actually triggering your anxiety. If you can't pin it down, you gotta sit with it and try to tackle the actual issue. Once you deal with the root cause, the symptoms usually just vanish. I learned that the hard way myself.

darkmaker13 said:The magnesium I'm on right now is actually the oxide version—that's what the label says. Before I started this, my joints were killing me—arms, legs, everywhere. Since starting, things have calmed down significantly. I've also been taking 10,000 IU of D3, which sounds massive, but I haven't hit any side effects yet. I'm actually scaling back to 5,000 IU now. This might be the "sweet spot" combo for me, so I probably shouldn't mess with it too much or start adding random stuff. I was thinking about getting a full vitamin and mineral panel done to see where my gaps are, but I'm not entirely sure how reliable those tests really are.

I heard magnesium citrate is the way to go since you basically absorb all of it. Thinking about picking up some Solgar... people seem to swear by their quality.
I've never touched Vitamin D, though I heard from a friend that her dermatologist told her to take it for acne. What's your actual reason for taking it?

Citrate hits you fast and burns out quick—perfect if you're an athlete.
Oxide builds up a reserve. Once your levels are "stocked," it’s basically always there (one 300mg-400mg capsule a day).
If you eat right, you really just need Vitamin D during the winter.
Everything else depends on whatever medical issues you might have.

Which one do you recommend? I need something for fatigue and muscle cramps. Price isn't my main concern; I just want high-quality stuff.
Overdid it on the B vitamins?! I take them whenever I feel like it, totally convinced the excess will just flush itself out naturally. Guess I probably should be more careful though..
