Bill Murray in Movies ·
Murray is a total legend. He was basically the ultimate icon for my entire generation.

"Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac...It's in the hole! It's in the hole! It's in the hole!"

That’s easily the most iconic line from the first movie I ever saw of his, Caddyshack. After that, you had the run of Endless Summer, The Expeller, Stripers, Scrooged, and the rest of them. Later on, he was actually pretty great in Broken Flowers, Get Low, and those more serious roles where he really shows up.

I’m also a huge fan of the original SNL crew, so I went out and grabbed all those early seasons featuring Chase, Belushi, and Murray. Belushi was a legend too, man—gone way too soon. A true samurai. 😁

Actors and visuals 🤦 I’m seeing more and more of these little runway models being pushed for the younger crowd. It’s like they all just stepped straight out of those disastrous CW shows—you know the ones, like *The Vampire Diaries*, *Smallville*, or that show about the supermodel brothers hunting down monsters.

The plot itself actually holds some interest, but everything else about this is just fundamentally wrong.
How did you guys find this movie? in Movies ·
Austin Alvarez62 laid his heart on the line, so I guess I’ll do the same, though I'll keep this brief.

I first stumbled upon it one late night while flipping through channels on cable. They were playing The Evil Dead, and after that, I’ve watched just about everything under the sun, but The Evil Dead still stands tall as the greatest movie ever made. Seriously, ever.☕

And I am going to defend it until my dying breath. Woo-hoo!
Back when I was a kid, I used to catch Charlie Chaplin movies on PBS. They always seemed to be running around the 12 or 13-minute mark. I finally sat down to watch one again after ages, and man, it hit me just as hard as it did back then. In my book, he’s hands down the most brilliant comedian to ever grace the 20th century.

Then there were all those horror flicks. That stuff was pure trauma. 🙂 It especially 😠

As an adult, though, one movie stands above the rest for me. Evil Dead ☕

The sheer innovation, those wild camera movements... it's insane. Every little detail, all that pure, unadulterated fun. Forget all that other nonsense; Evil Dead is actual art, and Bruce Campbell is the greatest God around, locally and beyond. Groovy ☕

That's it, go ahead and run. Run home and cry to mama! Bu-hu.

ironwalker4 said:Ricky has officially lost the plot. Every single time you catch one of his talk show interviews or watch his stand-up sets, it’s just more of the exact same thing.
He laughs way too hard at his own jokes—jokes that have been beaten to death by now—and he doesn't even seem to realize how stale they've become.

His last actually decent series was Extras, but everything else he’s touched lately (like the Ricky Gervais Show or An Idiot Abroad) is either pure Pilkington nonsense or just plain garbage, like Life's Too Short.

I don't know about all that, I still think he's hilarious. Honestly, it's that specific way he can't help himself from cracking up that gets me; as soon as I see him just totally losing it like that, 🤣 it kills me.🤣

What’s your take on Foster? Honestly, I feel like she earned that award just for everything she’s poured into the film industry over the years. 🙂

I mean, I shouldn't be surprised that this slimy Anne walked away with it; honestly, half the people winning awards tonight are just the kind of obnoxious personalities I can't stand.😁

Give her some credit for actually standing her ground for once. It feels like Streep gets a nomination for every single movie ever made, which is getting ridiculous, but hey, the kid’s got guts. I’ve watched her interviews before and she’s actually pretty sharp. She's definitely going places. 😍

Man, Lawrence sure is something else, isn't she? She’s out here acting like she finally "beat Meryl" 🤣 without even blinking an eye. She basically just let out one giant "aaaaaaaaaa" 🤣 and honestly, good for her, I guess.

I honestly don't know 🤷 maybe if we're talking about the first season, but for the second one? It’s a total disaster with way too many flaws. Last year's seasons were honestly much better than this mess.

Duel in Movies ·
Maximum Overdrive is such a garbage movie that it doesn't even belong in the same league as those other disasters. It’s one of those movies that is so incredibly bad, it actually becomes fun to watch. It’s clearly a disaster, and honestly, you can probably blame it on the fact that Stephen King directed it himself—that’s likely why it turned out so bad. 😁

Christine is an absolute masterpiece of a horror flick, and that soundtrack? Pure perfection. Duel is just as incredible. Honestly, along with Jaws, those are the only Spielberg movies that actually hold water for me. As for the rest of his filmography, I just could never stomach it.
