I honestly can't wrap my head around why so many construction workers from Germany and Ireland decided to pack up and trek all the way over here to America and Canada. You have to wonder—what was the logic there? Why didn't they just stay put in the countries they were actually supposed to be working in?
Just so you know for next time—there’s a little triangle right under every user's handle. If you click that, you can submit a formal complaint and suggest they hand out a penalty if possible 🙂 😁—maybe something a bit more severe just to ensure the lesson actually sticks. 😁
As for the moderators? They'll make the final call on whether to just wipe the post or issue an actual ban.
This exact thread already exists—it’s sitting right underneath this one. I'm stuck using my Samsung Galaxy A71 right now, so I can't easily drop the link here.
Kenneth Hayes said:I’m just looking to get one more opinion on this.
That is exactly why I asked—I wanted someone to reach out via DM who actually knows what they're talking about.
I am not posting anything publicly here.
Look, you should have had a doctor read that, not some random person on the internet—sorry, but I have to say it. You could easily run into some idiot willing to write anything at all; please, be careful with what you do and watch your back.😉
James Chavez91 👍>😁 It’s honestly staggering—just how much people are willing to sacrifice just to save a few bucks or shave a little time off their day. 🙏
That’s exactly how you were talking to me yesterday—honestly, if that’s how you treat people back home in your own neighborhood, you’ve got some serious issues to work out.
And look at what you said to this other user here: They weren't even addressing you directly, yet you just lunged at them like a wild animal. Look, if someone is trolling, that is what the moderators are for—it is absolutely not your place to jump down people's throats like that, nor should you be treating the community this way. And it doesn't stop there: you were actually throwing shade just because they held a moderator position. You are constantly veering off-topic just to pick fights with other users.
Your behavior toward everyone on this board is nothing short of aggressive and totally unhinged. If I had the authority, I would personally issue you a permanent ban. Based on just a few of your posts, I can only imagine how much of a nightmare you are in other threads.
I actually had the chance to meet him in person myself—it’s pretty obvious he thinks he owns the place—and honestly, his command of the American language is surprisingly solid. He was basically giving us a full-blown lecture yesterday during our English lit period. Let’s just say we all took a massive hit on our grades because of his "teaching" style.
So, tell me—is this friend of yours actually employed? Does he have an actual job, or does he just spend his entire existence sitting around reading books?
"Worked to death"—what is that even supposed to mean? Is he killing himself through sheer exhaustion, or is someone else driving him into the ground?
Anthony Perez9 said:It's not about belief or disbelief for me when it comes to that "light." I felt it. That's why I asked you, since you seemed so skeptical.
If you actually experienced it, you wouldn't be asking questions like that.
Whatever he meant, let him explain it himself instead of you playing interpreter. Honestly, his post is pretty funny and fits perfectly. 👍
Actual heaven? 😂
That's not for us. We exist somewhere in the middle. We're mortal. You can't survive in that "light." You catch a glimpse, and that's it. Then the ego gets hooked and wants more. So people cook up some theology to try and grab onto it forever and ever through "God's saving grace." Every religion is basically selling that same lie or delusion about paradise. ☕
Can you actually share the details with us?
What was the experience like?
I wrote down my part of the story—it wasn't some feeling of dying. Or maybe... did I actually die in my sleep?
I honestly have no idea—how do you even picture heaven?
For me, it felt like a physical space, almost like being on Earth. It was this massive room with incredibly high walls and a soaring ceiling. I was descending from above, while Jesus, Peter, and a priest were coming up from below; we all met right in the middle of the vast space. Jesus was wearing this pristine white and blue robe, Peter was in white and brown, and the priest was just in his standard suit. Actually, if I recall correctly—and I might be slightly off here—the priest approached us from the opposite side.
Once we finally converged, the priest turned to Peter and asked, "Peter, what are the sins you have committed?" Then Peter began to speak, but I couldn't quite grasp it—I didn't understand him, or maybe I just couldn't hear his specific sins clearly.
My eyes stayed fixed on Jesus; he didn't say a word to me, nor did he ask me about my own transgressions.
Jesus and I... we were without sin. That is simply how I woke up from it all.
I went ahead and started a new thread over at the IRS forums, thinking I was doing things the right way—only to have a moderator swoop in, dump my post into some ancient, dead thread from back in 2012, and then lock the whole thing up again. Seriously? Was that a glitch, or is this intentional? What am I even supposed to make of this? It feels less like organization and more like they’re just trying to silence certain users.
If their goal was actually to merge the discussion, why on earth didn't they move it to an active thread? There's a perfectly fine, open conversation happening elsewhere that I didn't even know existed—not until I saw the link coastaltiger72 posted later on.
Look, I’m not intimidated by anyone, nor am I playing nice just to suck up—it’s called basic manners to return a greeting when someone reaches out to you. It’s a matter of upbringing, plain and simple. If we’re all just here to act like idiots, then why did he even bother showing up to this subforum in the first place?
And honestly, what’s your deal for jumping in here? He clearly doesn't know how to speak up for himself, so why are you stepping in just to embarrass him?
