How can I include the original author's name when using the Wrap Quote tool without accidentally turning my own text blue too?

Do you want me to send you a screenshot showing how to break up your posts without getting flagged by the mods?

Oh, please, by all means, 😁 Look, I’m struggling here, and I just can’t seem to get it right. 😠
For example, I've had people quote me in pieces where they tuck their own comment right under every single snippet I wrote—even when it explicitly says the reply is from them—and of course, I end up looking like the one being flagged because they're quoting me. Now, I want to be able to do the exact same thing. I don't want it to be just one big blockquote; I want every little part I'm replying to to show exactly who said it, regardless of whether it's one person or five different people!

Ugh, I hope you know what I mean. 🙂

. So, first thing you should do is wipe out that initial quote before you even start typing your comments. ".[/I]

You're just quoting a link back to his original post, so you could always do what I usually do—just grab the tag from the end of the post and slap it onto the end of the first section you actually want to comment on.

Let me see how that looks.

Then, just three months later, a Swiss person reported that another planet, HD 85512b, sitting 36 light-years out, might actually be habitable. This particular planet, tucked away in the Veli valley, has a mass approximately 3.6 times that of Earth.

You didn't even include a link back to his original post, so just do what I always do: grab that tag from the end of the message and paste it right after the first chunk of text you actually want to comment on.

You didn't even include a link to his original post, so why not try my usual trick? Just grab the tag from the very end of the post and paste it right after the first section you actually want to comment on.

test 1 quote at the bottom of the post. So first thing you gotta do is clear out that initial quote before you even start typing comments on the post. ".[/I]

you're quoting a link to his original post anyway, so you might as well just make a
how I usually handle things,

test 2 which is just cutting the tag from the end of the post and pasting it onto the end of the first section you actually want to comment on,
