How do I use Multi-Quote? in Forum Help! ·
Kevin Newman3 said:So, how do you actually quote someone?
Here is the format:
the text you're quoting

The result looks like this:
Quote:
the text you're quoting
You’ll need to manually type out the name of the person you're quoting right before the citation. When you hit the automatic quote button (it's at the bottom of every post), the forum generates a block that looks like this:

In reality, it renders as:
Quote:
Nick says:
the text you're quoting
You can mimic that structure if you want, or just write the person's name right before the quote.

I copied all of this and I still don't get it... it just won't work.

Edward Allen36 said:I wouldn't really compare soccer to handball; they’re two completely different beasts, especially when you look at the tactics involved.
Personally, I wouldn't be against John, or maybe even Vujović.

I happened to stumble upon an interview with John recently. Basically, he mentioned that he doesn't see himself as a coach or a manager because he lacks the nerves to sit on the bench and follow a game. Apparently, that kind of job just isn't for him.

This guy seriously doesn't feel even a shred of responsibility...🙄
He’s claiming we should have made it to the quarterfinals (even if we had to face handball powerhouses like Austria and Iran🤣), and then he goes on about how our offense lacked decisiveness... and all that other nonsense...

Anyway, whether he's sitting on the bench or the bench is empty, I guess it wouldn't have made any difference...

It's been in a coma for years anyway (with a few exceptions, I guess).

It's a shame the Song of the Year went to Bareta.
Personally, I wouldn't even give that guy a Snickers, let alone a Grammy Award.

I feel the same way.😢
Voted for the general category.
rowdyowl said:I mean, I lose my cool when I'm pissed off. Right now, with the crowd booing us? I just want that gold medal!!!

Same here, honestly.😁
I’m happy about the medal, I guess, even if everyone is going to treat Goluža like some kind of hero now. Personally, I’ll probably just end up breaking out in hives because I can't wrap my head around his performance, and there isn't much I can do about it.🙈
Sandra Wilson38 said:I mean, is it really too much to ask for just one of those three CBS journalists to actually speak up? Like, could they not just say it plainly: This isn't a win, and we aren't coming home as champions? Just once. It seems like a lot to ask.
🤮

I mean, let’s be real—it isn't exactly great career strategy to work at CBS and start throwing uncomfortable questions at Republicans, or heaven forbid, actually pointing out an awkward truth. I doubt they'll go as far as pulling sports from the air entirely, but they could always just swap in a more "perspective-friendly" camera angle. Besides, it’s not like there are enough cushy jobs at the arena for everyone to get hired anyway.🤣

Sean Gonzalez95 said:It’s a bit much how everyone tries to credit Ivano Balić with every single medal we ever won. If you look back at the games where this specific generation really started to take shape, I guess he actually played well below what people expected or what he was truly capable of. There were plenty of matches where Pero, Vori, and Shaquille O'Neal were the ones actually grinding it out...

In my opinion, those medals were really earned by our rock-solid defense, especially with those lethal half-court setups in a 3-2-1 formation that just completely shut down outside shooters.

By the way—to all our lovely ladies out there—this subforum feels almost exclusively male. I suppose a little bit of sexism is just part of the deal here, huh?😍

The first part of the post isn't really up for debate. However, Gobac didn't go out of his way to pin the blame solely on Domagoj Duvnjak or anyone else; he specifically singled out Ivano Balić. Having learned from experience how quickly players can lose their spots on the national team just because some official from the US Handball Association points a finger at them (regardless of whether those players actually won medals or fought hard), we were simply expressing our own dissatisfaction and our perspective on Balić.
As for the sexism comment, I'll pass. No form of discrimination is good, even if someone tries to frame it as being positive.😉

Kimberly Smith69 said:What a piece of work.

Honestly,👎
If I recall correctly, his statement was basically: "Thanks for the send-off, now get ready for the parade." Unless, of course, he actually thought qualifying for the 2012 Summer Olympics with him at the helm would be considered some kind of massive achievement.🤷 I find it pretty amusing how none of the reporters bothered to mention Goluža shoving Balić when he wasn't getting the spotlight, or how that grim look and Valčićev's reaction seemed to trigger some rather unpleasant remarks from the coach himself...

And I have this nagging feeling that Gobac will probably end up twisting things around, making it look like his comments about Balić being to blame for the failure were just an attempt at "positive shock therapy"—as if he actually succeeded in that.🙄

It's either Iceland or Canada, though I guess I'm not quite sure about the timing.

I mean, how can anyone actually look at someone as messy as Gomez 🙏🙂

Haha, I guess it's a good thing that looking at him doesn't actually kill you...
I suppose Peter was just there to distract everyone from all the mistakes, the lack of knowledge, and the sheer incompetence of a coach like that.
Well, it's certainly priceless, I guess.🙏

Honestly, I enjoyed that more than the actual win.

Goluža is just a total nobody and a complete zero. 👎

Maybe Goluža should have tried picking up some points from Balić, but man, talk about a reality check.🤣
I know, I know, I'm being bitter, but that was easily the best moment of the day for me.😁

Personally, I'm thinking she'd be better off in one of those shirts where the sleeves tie in the back.🤣

Anyway, hats off to those handball players!

Actually, he called it a sperm whale (that's a type of whale)😁

Does anyone know what time the championship game starts? I totally lost track.
