The way he built his version of the world of mountains is fantastic and holds plenty of merit. I wouldn't call him a fraud; he's more of an eccentric.

There is absolutely no Bottleneck occurring with that processor.
In my testing, only a 1080ti managed to Bottleneck the Celeron, and that card is miles ahead of a GTX 1060.

That’s my exact strategy too—grabbed the RAM first before prices spiked (it sat around for two months, but I saved $167), then picked up the CPU during Black Friday, and now I'm looking at the motherboard.

I'm leaning towards G.Skill.
They might be slightly pricier, but the Trident Z series is thoroughly proven with Ryzen.

As for the board, absolutely. I won't see ch7 at this price point again for at least a year and a half, and honestly, it's an incredible deal considering this is a top-of-the-line board. For an X570, the only real drawbacks are the lack of support for ultra-fast RAM (which is negligible) and PCI 4.0. Look, I won't be maxing out 2.0 anyway, and I definitely won't be using an NVMe.

The Ryzen 7 2700 X370 C6H is an absolute beast compared to the X470 Prime Pro. My X370 Prime Pro actually holds its own better because they didn't skimp on the heatsink design.
Regarding the motherboard, I believe it's the ultimate choice—nothing beats it now, and nothing will ever top it for $333. Once the official ABBA BIOS drops (which is just a matter of time), it’ll be perfect.

By the way, voltage spikes up to 1.5v are perfectly normal for Ryzen 3000 series processors.

As for the other Navi GPUs, we might be waiting a while (check Hardware Unboxed for updates). Due to massive demand for 7nm chips, the 16-core version is likely delayed, and the other Navi cards and Threadrippers probably won't arrive anytime soon for the same reason.

I went ahead and ordered it.
I'll let it sit on the shelf for a couple of months, then once Black Friday rolls around, I'll see about grabbing a 3700X. If not, a standard 3600 will go in there.

What RAM are you running? Looking at the options, the lower latency kits (c15, c14) aren't even worth the extra cost; the Trident Z c16 is almost a better value.$167 :S

The only downside is that Future, and likely US retailers, are offering a 2-year warranty instead of the standard 3 years from ASUS. It's probably some importer from overseas. Regardless, we are talking about a high-end board at a mid-range price point. Including those two GPUs mentioned above, ASUS has actually been hitting us with some decent discounts lately.

I don't know, I'm still on the fence. Honestly, I'm just waiting for graphics cards to drop in price or for at least a cheaper AMD alternative to hit the market.
I'm not sure if it's even worth grabbing this board right now if it costs me the same as, say, an X470 Prime Pro.

I've even been thinking about just picking up a 2700 lately since the price is lower $600

There were plenty of theories flying around, but the benchmarks proved it’s nothing more than an overused cliché.

This entire discussion has completely derailed because of the constant trolling, insults, and ego-tripping coming from a few specific individuals.

The people attacking Musk are being incredibly distasteful, while his supporters respond by insulting and trolling them, creating an endless, toxic loop.

Any actual meaningful insight gets drowned out by this massive wave of trolls.

smart bitch used to keep things under control, but I'm not sure if they're away or what happened, but something needs to be done about this.

By default, this card should come with a zero RPM mode enabled so the fans don't even spin until it hits a certain temperature.

I personally keep mine running at up to 1200rpm because they are completely silent.
