Look, I don't have any plans to buy anything this year, but things could get complicated if I change my mind.

There is an XFX card on eBay that was easily the best 480 model out there.

I also spotted a Sapphire 580 for $250 that still has 34 months of warranty left.

Ashley Wood3 said:I am not entirely certain about that approach, to be honest. I currently have a Ryzen 5 1600, and I personally feel that making the leap to a Zen+ processor simply isn't worth the effort, let alone the expense, especially since I struggle to see any meaningful gains in performance or any other measurable area. At most, I suspect it might offer a marginal boost if paired with an RX 580 instead of an RX 480, though even that seems like a stretch.

Not at all. It makes much more sense to just wait until next year and see what the 7nm Ryzen lineup brings to the table.

This isn't worth the money.
It’s a good thing the Ryzen APU is coming out.

What is actually worth buying in terms of GPUs right now?
The 1070 is priced way too high, easily hitting a grand, and even the 6GB version of the 1060 is just as expensive.

On the AMD side, the only thing remotely affordable is some 4GB card, but honestly, it wouldn't even be worth upgrading my current R9 380.

When I eventually build my next rig, I think it’ll be a better move to just swap this 380 out for a decent GTX 1050 and call it a day.

I'll help him put the build together and teach him a few things, and that's all. If he wants an upgrade later, he can start saving up again. He won't be getting anything else before he finishes high school. At that age, I really have zero influence over him.

Not only is that specific processor a poor choice, but a bug was uncovered yesterday affecting all Intel processors that will lead to performance degradation for everyone. You likely won't see it in gaming, but it’s definitely something to consider before you buy.

Why isn't Intel being considered as much anymore? I'm just curious about the reasoning, especially since the new generation of Intel's processors is phenomenal.

dustycanyon5 said:Eraserhead is a masterpiece because of its incredibly bizarre and grotesque atmosphere. It is packed with metaphors and symbolism that almost no one can truly grasp, and most importantly, because it was directed by David Lynch.😁

Once again, you failed to provide a decent explanation.

At first I thought you were just trolling, but then I realized you're talking about The Witcher 1 instead of 3 😁

It’s awesome that you’re happy with your purchase; at the end of the day, that's all that matters 😁

Look, she might have been using one of those temporary hair color sprays, and once she started sweating from pure terror, it just started running 😬

He was talented, sure, but everyone knew he moved like he was stuck in molasses.

If this doesn't convince you to pick up an XFX GTR, nothing will.

Alright, maybe I’m misreading this.

The part about trolling still stands. It’s clearly stated that she’s never actually been there, yet she continues to trash it and complain about how backward it is—even after it was explicitly mentioned several times that such behavior won't be tolerated.

For YEARS now, this same little clique of users has been allowed to poison every single thread in the exact same way—posting the literal same stuff week after week, just killing the vibe and ruining any conversation where they don't like what someone paid for their meal, groceries, drinks, or whatever else. They don't actually care about talking food... they just care, exclusively, about how much money other people spent on their dinner.

At first, I just laughed it off.
Then I started reporting them using the little triangle icon.
Then I was straight-up messaging the moderators, practically begging and pleading for them to actually do something.

Eventually, I just stopped posting in that subforum altogether, because honestly, what's the point of saying anything when you know the same five idiots are just gonna try to make a fool out of you because you ate a pizza/taco/burger/orange chicken/steak/foie gras somewhere and paid more than they think you should have... It's exhausting. So, here's my farewell post, prompted by that exact kind of behavior from the same group of people over and over: And that was over a year ago.

Looking at what Jeffrey Long is saying, it’s clear that absolutely nothing has changed in a year. You're still letting that same group ruin the fun of posting in that subforum for everyone else. And you aren't deleting. And you aren't issuing warnings. Because if you had been deleting or warning people all this time, those culprits would have been permanently banned ages ago—since they do it literally every single day—and actual decent people who value good food more than a couple of $1.75 dollars could actually have a normal conversation.

I have to partially agree.

I am attaching a reported post where the user is once again insulting others and trolling regarding how heated things are getting.

Even though we have already explained exactly what is going on several times.

The post was reported, but it hasn't been flagged or deleted.

Not to mention the posts from Hardy Candy, who just waits in the wings for someone to write something negative so they can swoop in with half-baked comments like "AHAHAH HAHAH hahaha 🙏 🙏 🙏 "

But it failed.

It was mediocre. Only kids were laughing while the adults were just sitting there like, "WTF?"

I walked out of the theater without even cracking a smile.
You basically need to be high to enjoy this. It’s probably how the writers felt when they were working on the script.😁

Mark White11 said:Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I mean, sure, the technical stuff is top-tier, but let’s be real—Avatar is technically flawless too, so that doesn't really win me over. You've got Bill and Idris killing it, but the plot feels like a carbon copy of the animated movie, and by the middle, it just turns into this super childish, boring slog.
And don't even get me started on that part where Walken starts singing... seriously, that was easily the worst part of the whole movie. Just awful.
