Actually, at that theater in San Francisco—the Golden Gate one (can't remember if they call it San Francisco Cinema or just Golden Gate)—they didn't do a whole Hitchcock series. They just ran Psycho for its 50th anniversary. Same with Hopper; they only showed Easy Rider because he passed away.
But they did run a Rivette series, then some Gerard Phillipe stuff, followed by Almodovar. It's usually solid programming.
Still waiting on the September schedule though.🤷

Religion is a total minefield on this topic. Back before we had post reports and bans, the book of complaints would get flooded daily with reports from every side—deletion requests, bias accusations... knowing how people act here, I bet now that since they can report posts, the reports are coming in floods. Some users probably report every single thing anyone they disagree with says. Because sooner or later, someone will find something that looks like an insult or some other violation to a moderator.
And once you realize that's their game, you just play along because you have to take them down before they take you down...

Think you're overthinking it. You aren't at fault if someone loses their cool and starts insulting you, provided your own post doesn't break any rules.

Obviously I saw the movie. It’s out in theaters now. Watched it mostly for Michael Fassbender—he’s one of the best actors working today. As for that scene... yeah, I totally messed up. I knew it was a long, pointless stretch. But don't worry, I'm not one of those people who talks trash about a film without actually sitting through it.

That scene is a total trip for me—still stuck in my head. Especially that brutal part with the baton and someone's butt where they make those little basins for pissing.🤮 Can't really catch that kind of stuff on YouTube.

The whole "did you see it" thing was just a joke because of Powerbeat Fassbender.😁

Fass is great, real Bale-ovski performance.🙏 For me, besides that conversation, the heaviest part was that continuous shot of the hallway when they were peeing on him and the guard had to deal with it.🙏
