Unforgettable movie torture scenes

Every animal is innocent. For me, killing one is only okay if you've got zero other choice—like self-defense or if it's literally your only way to eat. Anything else? Just pure sadism.

Not at all, and I didn't say there was a difference. Haven't seen Cannibal Holocaust yet.

?
Nah, actually, I only kicked off this whole debate when I replied to someone saying "meat doesn't grow on trees." It had nothing to do with this. 🤷
David Price5 said:For me personally, killing innocent animals can't be justified by a "need for meat." Sure, maybe 10,000 years ago, but not today when we have so many other food sources available. As for anyone who claims they have a "right" to those animals, I have thoughts on that, but I don't intend to write them down here.
Your statement is heading right in that direction.
We weren't even talking about that anymore; the point was simply the fact that it's easier for Susan Bailey4 to get over killing a human than an animal. It has absolutely nothing to do with vegetarianism.
It's his thing, personally I don't see the issue. I kind of feel the same way—to me, a human life is worth just as much as an animal's. Don't see why it should be any different.
