Immigration discussion in Women's Corner in Feedback & Suggestions ·

In her very first post for this closed thread, Kiss shared a video of a German politician, Gregor Gisin, who was basically celebrating the fact that there are fewer native Germans being born.

I find it pretty interesting, though, how you didn't really say anything about his racism or what he was getting at.

I guess it's just easier to go after an American or a local than it is to call out someone like him. 😉
Young Democrat insulted Albanians in Close to Politics ·
They run the jewelry stores, the bakeries, the pastry shops... and apparently, they’re all just completely untrustworthy and dishonest people, I guess...😕🤷

And then, to top it all off, he adds: look, I don't have anything against Albanians.

You see, I think my friend is actually terrified of that specific kind of pain. But honestly, he’s already suffering from the ache of wanting something more—searching for a whole new life... and I guess he really has to let go of the old one if he ever wants to actually taste the new one.

Or, I don't know, maybe they could just take a page out of Oscar Wilde's book instead?😁

Anyway, let's get back to my buddy. I guess the real question is, how can he actually find a way to break free from that temptation?😛>
Brenda Cook4 said:How would you even go about explaining it... I mean, if you're the one starting a thread because you actually want a high-quality discussion, it’s probably best to lay out a bit more groundwork in that opening post, right? Otherwise, it's a pretty great topic, though...

Just picture the scenario: suddenly, you find yourself drawn toward something that goes completely against everything you thought you believed in... maybe it's a sweet, wholesome girl fantasizing about a threesome, or a college professor at some big state university wondering if he should just surrender to a myth being dangled in front of him... you know what I mean? 😁

So, basically, a person finds themselves standing at a crossroads, facing a path they never imagined they'd even consider taking...

I actually have a friend who's dealing with a challenge right like this—something that could totally flip his entire life upside down—and honestly, I just don't think it's a smart move. How is a person even supposed to fight off a temptation like that?
That’s such an interesting quote from Nietzsche. I wonder, how would you guys go about explaining it?
This might sound like a pretty silly headline, but I’ve honestly been losing sleep over this for quite a while now...

So, I’ve been dealing with some annoying sinus issues, but lately, it feels like my digestion is acting up too. It seems like whenever I finish a meal—especially if I’ve eaten a bit more than usual—this thick saliva starts pooling in the back of my throat, and then I basically have to run to the bathroom to clear my throat and spit everything out. 😁

I was just wondering, does anyone else deal with something similar to this?
