The truth in a world full of lies!!! in Spirituality ·
...Oh, one more thing—I just couldn't resist sharing this beautiful thought with you all. You see, looking at those of us who have been called, there aren't many people who would be considered "wise" by the world's standards, or powerful, or from high-society backgrounds. Instead, what the world calls foolish, God chose to use to shame the wise; and what the world sees as weak, God uses to shame the strong. 1 Corinthians 1:26,27. This really hits home for me!!! Goodnight, everyone! :kiss :

Good evening, everyone! 🙂 It looks like quite a few thoughts have bubbled up lately. There’s been plenty of the usual criticism and some New Age rambling going on... 😂 along with a few different personalities mixed in. To those who don't see things my way— 😉 If it's true—and I believe it is—that we all share the exact same source, that we're all creatures with the same needs, and that we all end up six feet under in the end, then how can everyone possibly have their own version of the truth??? 🤷 Humanity deserves a real answer!!! It's just impossible for everyone to be right at once. Only one person out of the crowd can hold the truth. And to find those complex answers, someone has to dive much deeper than just surface-level human logic; they have to listen to the words of our Creator. That's the only way we all find our way back to the same source—to the root—to the truth!!! 😉 Paul. 👋

What a waste of digital ink.
Look, I know making distinctions isn't always popular (and I rarely do it myself), but your writing comes across like someone who's a complete spiritual novice—and one with a pretty dogmatic, religious bent at that.

Luckily, we still have Sandra Morgan2, wearyowl29, and Witch around... so even when the topic misses the mark, there are enough gems here to make this thread worth sticking around for.

PS
Sorry, but I had to say it (since everyone else is being so incredibly understanding), even though I know you won't take a single word of this to heart.

Man, why all the anger? I've grown used to criticism, attacks, and people mocking or belittling me. That's just my daily life. It would actually surprise me if things were any different. Everything is easier when there's a purpose behind it. 😉 thanks for being real! 👍

Religion is just a facade, a tool used to manipulate the masses for selfish gain. To those who truly believe—those who live out the truth through their actions and mirror the Divine within us—it’s essentially worthless. Look at us here on this forum; we all share this same drive to convince everyone else that our perspective is the right one. In my humble opinion, I’m actually the only one here *not* pushing a personal agenda. When you're dealing with things this deep and complex, you need enlightenment that goes way beyond our limited human minds. I’m simply repeating what’s written in the oldest book we have—the Bible. After diving into a sea of sacred texts—everything from Hinduism and Buddhism to Islam and Judaism—and studying the works of enlightened thinkers like J. M. Templeton, S. Choquete, S. Browne, D. Chopra, Dhamma, S. N. Lazarev, and M. Denning, I did some digging. After comparing them all, I realized that Jesus Christ embodies everything those other spiritual giants only hinted at. His teachings are so simple yet profound, filled with genuine love in everything he did, and he proved it through the ultimate sacrifice for anyone searching for liberation—for Truth. But of course, someone from the crowd will jump in and call me a fanatic or say I'm too narrow-minded, stuck in my own ways. They’ll tell me to "use my head" and move past what I think is true. It reminds me of a fly getting caught in a spider's web, becoming nothing more than a meal for a clever predator. It's a pretty good metaphor for us poor, helpless humans who think we know it all, only to be proven wrong by reality every single day. If you have ears to hear, let your heart feel and your mind understand. ... loves you, wearyrider16. (...short for Kharism, a Greek word meaning a free and unmerited gift—something you receive that you didn't earn. It's an expression of God's grace that no amount of human effort could ever achieve.) 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

True, but that being never actually shows up... so instead, we go ahead and manufacture our own gods in his or her name. We create these beings and then claim they hold all the authority. It's how we invent these rigid codes of conduct and pretend they carry divine weight.

And what do we get out of it? _T R U T H_... except it's a truth we manufactured ourselves.🙏

So here we are, still imperfect, serving equally flawed gods, but now we have entire ideologies designed to make us even more intolerant and dishonest.

BRAVO to us!

...so what kind of point are you trying to make with that sentence??? 🤷 My dear wearyowl29, have you ever considered this: everything truly essential in life, starting with the spiritual stuff, is deep yet simple, obvious yet invisible to the physical eye!!! ...and a person's greatness comes from being able to recognize those things!!! 😉 Pozy. Hey there, my wonderful friends!!! 👍

Also, plenty of people form their own insights or opinions based on the facts they happen to know, so they call that "their truth," but that doesn't make it an absolute reality. They only have a partial understanding. For instance, because so many people don't actually know the truth, they end up creating their own little sets of rules and standards for how to live. The culture someone is born into and raised in definitely plays a part in that too. The result? Total chaos and a massive disconnect in our morals, spirituality, and ethics. Everything goes, everyone thinks they're right, and everybody starts acting like they're God!! That’s exactly why we need a "perfect being"—our Creator—to set the standards and rules for us to live by. That way, we’d all be using the same compass in life. It’s the only logical solution. Honestly, there's no use looking to us "imperfect" folks for answers! But hey, we think we're pretty important, don't we? We're smart enough to just get in our own way and destroy ourselves. 👏 👏

But others don't see it that way. They don't have that ready-made humble heart to just accept an answer; instead, they're out there searching, clawing through life with nothing but their bare teeth...

🤷 Can someone help me understand? ...why all this heavy philosophizing if everything is already laid out for us. Why bother acting smart or making up some personal version of "truth" when the truth is right there in front of us. It was revealed through someone who provided perfect wisdom and teachings that are easy to grasp—but only for those with an honest heart. For a heart like that, the truth just sticks! 🙂 ?? All we have to do is accept it and embrace it!!! Honestly, one wise and perfect man, even though he was rejected by many, once said: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me (Jesus Christ). Why is that so hard to swallow?? Who does it bother so much, and what part is unclear that everyone feels entitled to invent their own version of a shared truth??? Maybe it's just to impress others with how much they know?? Or maybe people are just disappointed in those meant to carry the message??? Or what?? Truth can only be one thing. It’s simple. You don't need a PhD to find it!!! Without truth, there is no real path, and without the right path, there is no life!!! 😉 Btw, I'm not claiming these words as my own. I realized this while studying the life of Jesus Christ!! 🙂 + On our own, with our limited abilities, we can't truly know God or the truth about ourselves. We need humility, heart, and the spirit of wisdom that God provides!!! 🙂 Your forum friend wearyrider16!!! 👍

Alright, I'll try to keep this brief and get straight to the point. Ever since high school, I've always felt like an outsider. It wasn't about being weird; it was just that I couldn't relate to how everyone else thought or acted. To be honest, the way most people live—their values and standards—always rubbed me the wrong way, and it hasn't changed. Why? Because I've always known my life couldn't just be about physical stuff or material things. I knew there had to be a higher purpose out there. So, I started looking. I went through countless books and sacred texts, searching for meaning. It became even more obvious during college, where I saw just how empty and shallow things can feel when people reject everything that's actually healthy and good. It seemed like it was all just partying, sex, drinking, and making fun of anyone who stands out. I used to wonder, "Am I really the only one?" It felt like everyone was just trapped in this primitive social loop that basically poisons people's minds. Even the intellectuals and the "educated" crowd—instead of teaching students how to be actual human beings, they just mold them into conformists who go on to raise families based on those same broken norms. You don't even have to look hard to see it; there’s enough injustice and dishonesty in the world to go around. For someone with a healthy conscience, that kind of thing really stings. I've read a mountain of books on this—psychology, sociology, philosophy, religion, spirituality... and back in 2005, I really dove deep into the Bible. It actually calls out exactly what I was seeing. It exposes the fake clergy and hypocritical leaders who just exploit naive followers to serve their own selfish interests. Honestly, some churches can be even worse than political parties. While many claim the Bible was just written by men to suit their own agendas without any divine inspiration, I believe it can truly liberate any soul searching for truth in this messy world. I'll close with these words from Jesus that mean a lot to me: ... and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free! John 8:32. Truly, a person without faith is just as lost. They become a slave to a corrupt and twisted world that relentlessly crushes and wounds the inner child we all carry inside. Thanks for listening. 😉

Of course I’d help....
And I do help, quite a lot
in many different ways
through words, through service, through donations
purely out of my love for people
but I'm not launching some massive global initiative

Quinn:
By the way, topics like this really force people to pause and realize that our lives have a much deeper purpose than just self-improvement or debating what's happening around us.
You are,
just like me,
one tiny, miniature little cog,
inside the massive, gargantuan machine
of humanity

situated somewhere on the fringes,
in a small corner of the American heartland,

the only real way to fix the world is
to fix yourself
and your true greatness
is found in the impact you have on those closest to you.

.

If you truly want to make a difference, do exactly what Sandra Morgan2 is planning—pick one child in a developing nation and donate a hundred dollars in their name. A charity will use that money to fund an entire year of schooling and care. Do that for the next fifteen years. Save one child. Save one life....

Leave the world to God
everything is His will
He wove it all together
and He will untangle it
or perhaps tangle it even more
regardless of those worrying about the fate of the world

You have some interesting thoughts. It's clear you're a kind and selfless person, which I really respect. But why do you always say "leave it to God" or "He'll handle it"? To me, the whole point is that we, as imperfect people, can imitate Him and be His close friends. He’s our heavenly Father who actually cares about us. Honestly, He's probably more frustrated with the state of the world than I am, since He created everything for a good purpose and people just turned their backs on His gift. But He still wants us to live lives worthy of being human. We have this chance every single day to get back to His original plan—living in peace here on Earth. That’s why He made this beautiful planet and us so carefully. We won't ever truly be happy or satisfied unless we feed our spiritual hunger, just like we need food to stay alive. We aren't meant to just do whatever we feel like; we don't get to set the terms. We're creatures that depend on our Creator—God—and if we want what's best for ourselves and others, we need to listen to Him. When people live against that—which most unfortunately do—things spiral out of control, and we see the tragic consequences. You only have to watch the news once to see it. I don't know if you follow me, but I really want you to succeed. This isn't just philosophy or some random theory; it's the truth I feel compelled to share with everyone who recognizes their own spiritual needs. 🙂

Adios!

@wearyrider16,
The world isn't your responsibility,
even if you desperately want to fix it.

Even if you spend all day telling everyone what’s wrong with the universe,
your tiny voice will just get lost in the deafening noise.

So just leave it to God; let Him handle His own creation.
The Creator probably knows what He's doing.

Instead, focus on analyzing, tidying up, and understanding that little corner of the world
where you actually have some leverage.
YOURSELF.

That's it. I wanted to say more along those lines, but Quinn beat me to it...

👍

Sandra Morgan2, if you actually knew how to cure a disease affecting people close to you, would you stay quiet? Or would you speak up and try to help them? Btw, these kinds of topics make people think and realize our lives have a much bigger purpose than just self-improvement or commenting on what's happening around us.

stormycanyon11 said:Dear Khari, I’ve come to realize that this entire world we inhabit is largely constructed from little more than lies and illusions. There really isn't any sense in letting yourself feel disillusioned or cheated by it all. We find ourselves here simply to navigate another lifetime, to grasp at the notion that this material existence is nothing more than a fleeting mirage rather than the ultimate reality. One might say we are merely stepping into another grade in the great school of life, and the question remains whether we intend to pass with honors or if we'll find ourselves repeating the year. This is just one single link in an endless, magnificent chain of being. It is meant to be this way; we consented to this arrangement quite willingly, so we really ought to remember which assignment we signed up for this time around. There is no need for anguish or disappointment, as this is nothing more than a temporary stop before the main terminal, a brief transit before we return to the very essence we originated from—sooner or later. Time flows quite differently on the other side, anyway. Don't be afraid; there is no room for fear there, for you will inevitably arrive exactly where you set out to go.

It makes sense, even if it feels unfinished. The thing is, so many innocent people don't even get a chance to start their journey because they die from hunger, war, or some disaster... and there are so many innocent children caught in that. It all comes down to the massive imbalance in how the global elite distribute wealth. I don't know, is there any logic in coming into a world where you only get a few years before death deals you a fatal blow? That doesn't feel like it's from God. It feels more like the work of evil people rejecting everything sacred and right—everything primal and divine.😉

This is just one tiny link in an endless, magnificent chain of life. That’s just how it works, and we chose this path ourselves; we just need to remember the assignment we picked for this lifetime. Rachel Williams18 said:It's headed exactly where it's meant to go.🙂

If you actually "open your eyes" to any given lie, you'll realize it's really just a mask truth wears. Sometimes those lies are actually better for people's sanity—I mean, sometimes the raw truth is just too much to handle, right? It blinds you. Honestly, how boring would life be if everyone just told the truth all the time?

Without the lies, we wouldn't even know the truth was there to begin with. There's gotta be some kind of harmony or balance—these extremes just spinning together in this crazy whirlwind of life...

If you look closer, maybe even step slightly outside the lines, you'll see that truth and lies are just playing this massive game that we're all invited to participate in.

What you wrote doesn't really explain anything. It keeps people in the dark, and a society can't move forward if everyone stays ignorant. That moral compass we were born with isn't looking for lies; it's searching for the truth. It feels like most people in this broken world have just accepted whatever is dirty or wrong as the new normal. Our values are totally out of whack, which is a huge problem. Things are only going to get tougher. But it all starts making sense when you realize that a higher power will eventually step in to fix things once human cruelty hits its peak and forces a total reset on this planet. People are starving for justice. Honestly, for a decent person, faith is the only thing left to help navigate today's chaos. Unfortunately, man rules over man, just like the wise King Solomon said. Looking around me, I see that's exactly what's happening. There's no room for lies there. That's my two cents! 😉 ...good luck living in a lie, if there's even any luck to be found in that!!! 👍

🙂 It feels like we’re constantly being fed nothing but lies. Whether it’s the news, politicians, religious leaders, or even just some shady boss at work, everyone seems to be playing a game. I’m reaching out to those of you who feel just as disillusioned and out of place in this mess as I do. I want to share what I’ve learned and why things have become so broken. I’m just passing along the truth I heard from people who actually live with humility and integrity—that’s really what keeps me going in this fleeting, hollow life. I just hope at least one person out there gets where I'm coming from. 🙂 ...I can't just keep these truths to myself. That would be selfish, plain and simple. Pozy. 😉
