🙂 It feels like we’re constantly being fed nothing but lies. Whether it’s the news, politicians, religious leaders, or even just some shady boss at work, everyone seems to be playing a game. I’m reaching out to those of you who feel just as disillusioned and out of place in this mess as I do. I want to share what I’ve learned and why things have become so broken. I’m just passing along the truth I heard from people who actually live with humility and integrity—that’s really what keeps me going in this fleeting, hollow life. I just hope at least one person out there gets where I'm coming from. 🙂 ...I can't just keep these truths to myself. That would be selfish, plain and simple. Pozy. 😉

Dear Khari, I’ve come to realize that this entire world we inhabit is largely constructed from little more than lies and illusions. There really isn't any sense in letting yourself feel disillusioned or cheated by it all. We find ourselves here simply to navigate another lifetime, to grasp at the notion that this material existence is nothing more than a fleeting mirage rather than the ultimate reality. One might say we are merely stepping into another grade in the great school of life, and the question remains whether we intend to pass with honors or if we'll find ourselves repeating the year. This is just one single link in an endless, magnificent chain of being. It is meant to be this way; we consented to this arrangement quite willingly, so we really ought to remember which assignment we signed up for this time around. There is no need for anguish or disappointment, as this is nothing more than a temporary stop before the main terminal, a brief transit before we return to the very essence we originated from—sooner or later. Time flows quite differently on the other side, anyway. Don't be afraid; there is no room for fear there, for you will inevitably arrive exactly where you set out to go.

It's headed exactly where it's meant to go.🙂

If you actually "open your eyes" to any given lie, you'll realize it's really just a mask truth wears. Sometimes those lies are actually better for people's sanity—I mean, sometimes the raw truth is just too much to handle, right? It blinds you. Honestly, how boring would life be if everyone just told the truth all the time?

Without the lies, we wouldn't even know the truth was there to begin with. There's gotta be some kind of harmony or balance—these extremes just spinning together in this crazy whirlwind of life...

If you look closer, maybe even step slightly outside the lines, you'll see that truth and lies are just playing this massive game that we're all invited to participate in.

What you wrote doesn't really explain anything. It keeps people in the dark, and a society can't move forward if everyone stays ignorant. That moral compass we were born with isn't looking for lies; it's searching for the truth. It feels like most people in this broken world have just accepted whatever is dirty or wrong as the new normal. Our values are totally out of whack, which is a huge problem. Things are only going to get tougher. But it all starts making sense when you realize that a higher power will eventually step in to fix things once human cruelty hits its peak and forces a total reset on this planet. People are starving for justice. Honestly, for a decent person, faith is the only thing left to help navigate today's chaos. Unfortunately, man rules over man, just like the wise King Solomon said. Looking around me, I see that's exactly what's happening. There's no room for lies there. That's my two cents! 😉 ...good luck living in a lie, if there's even any luck to be found in that!!! 👍

We’re just here to live through another chapter, to realize that all this material stuff is just a shadow of what's actually real. Think of it like being back in school—we're just moving up a grade, and it's up to us whether we pass with flying colors or have to retake the class. This is just one tiny link in an endless, magnificent chain of life. That’s just how it works, and we chose this path ourselves; we just need to remember the assignment we picked for this lifetime. No need to be upset; this is just a temporary stop before the main station, where we eventually return to our true essence. Time flows differently on the other side anyway. Don't be afraid. There's no room for fear there, because you'll eventually arrive right where you're meant to be.]

That makes sense, even if it's a bit vague. Honestly, though, so many innocent people don't even get the chance to start their journey because they die from hunger, war, or some disaster... and so many innocent kids, too. It all comes down to how the powerful elites hoard everything for themselves. I don't know, does it really make sense to come into a world where you only get a few years before death deals you a fatal blow? That doesn't feel like it's from God. It feels more like the result of evil people turning their backs on everything sacred and righteous—the things that are truly divine. 😉

It feels more like the work of evil people rejecting everything sacred and right—everything primal and divine.😉

@wearyrider16,
The world isn't your responsibility,
even if you desperately want to fix it.

Even if you spend all day telling everyone what’s wrong with the universe,
your tiny voice will just get lost in the deafening noise.

So just leave it to God; let Him handle His own creation.
The Creator probably knows what He's doing.

Instead, focus on analyzing, tidying up, and understanding that little corner of the world
where you actually have some leverage.
YOURSELF.

That's it. I wanted to say more along those lines, but Quinn beat me to it...

I think we really need to make an effort to seek out the truth every single day. It feels like we’re all called to this life to stand up for what's real and push back against any kind of deception or hostility.
The thing is, I don't believe we were put on this Earth just to live in some quiet little bubble of peace. To me, it feels more like we are spiritual beings thrown into a constant, eternal struggle between good and evil. In this life, we eventually have to decide which side we're standing on.

Sandra Morgan2, if you actually knew how to cure a disease affecting people close to you, would you stay quiet? Or would you speak up and try to help them? Btw, these kinds of topics make people think and realize our lives have a much bigger purpose than just self-improvement or commenting on what's happening around us.

Of course I’d help....
And I do help, quite a lot
in many different ways
through words, through service, through donations
purely out of my love for people
but I'm not launching some massive global initiative

By the way, topics like this really force people to pause and realize that our lives have a much deeper purpose than just self-improvement or debating what's happening around us.
You are,
just like me,
one tiny, miniature little cog,
inside the massive, gargantuan machine
of humanity

situated somewhere on the fringes,
in a small corner of the American heartland,

the only real way to fix the world is
to fix yourself
and your true greatness
is found in the impact you have on those closest to you.

.

If you truly want to make a difference, do exactly what Sandra Morgan2 is planning—pick one child in a developing nation and donate a hundred dollars in their name. A charity will use that money to fund an entire year of schooling and care. Do that for the next fifteen years. Save one child. Save one life....

Leave the world to God
everything is His will
He wove it all together
and He will untangle it
or perhaps tangle it even more
regardless of those worrying about the fate of the world

What’s the actual point of this thread?

Is this just some nostalgia trip for the "good old days" and a "sane world"?
Are we pushing global conspiracy theories?
Or maybe it's just a failure to grasp how human nature works—that "evil" side—when trying to defend the good, even if God seems to be looking the other way?
Is this the voice of a prophet waking up a sleeping flock in the desert?
A disdain for what you'd call a "shallow, fleeting life"?
And an attempt to push people toward that dark, polarized corner of the world (which isn't even real)?

Is it about dropping some "ultimate truth" (if there even is one...)?
Or is it just a generalization of a generalization?

"Who knows? Honestly, nobody knows anything..."
Maybe the truth is reserved only for the "sincere, the deceived, and the disillusioned"—for those who are humble, gentle, and hungry!
Or maybe it’s all just a regular, everyday moral vent session?

Why so heavy?

What do you actually gain from all this fighting??

Wouldn't it be much more logical to just unite matter and spirit into one?

You have some interesting thoughts. It's clear you're a kind and selfless person, which I really respect. But why do you always say "leave it to God" or "He'll handle it"? To me, the whole point is that we, as imperfect people, can imitate Him and be His close friends. He’s our heavenly Father who actually cares about us. Honestly, He's probably more frustrated with the state of the world than I am, since He created everything for a good purpose and people just turned their backs on His gift. But He still wants us to live lives worthy of being human. We have this chance every single day to get back to His original plan—living in peace here on Earth. That’s why He made this beautiful planet and us so carefully. We won't ever truly be happy or satisfied unless we feed our spiritual hunger, just like we need food to stay alive. We aren't meant to just do whatever we feel like; we don't get to set the terms. We're creatures that depend on our Creator—God—and if we want what's best for ourselves and others, we need to listen to Him. When people live against that—which most unfortunately do—things spiral out of control, and we see the tragic consequences. You only have to watch the news once to see it. I don't know if you follow me, but I really want you to succeed. This isn't just philosophy or some random theory; it's the truth I feel compelled to share with everyone who recognizes their own spiritual needs. 🙂

Adios!

I'm honestly not sure what God has in store for me
I still haven't figured out everything He’s actually given me
I don't know if I even have some grand "purpose" here in this world
maybe I'll never really find out
maybe it just won't click
perhaps it isn't meant for me to know
or maybe my brain just isn't there yet

all I know is that life feels a lot lighter
without all the second-guessing
without keeping desires tucked away where nobody else can see them
without playing a specific "role" for everyone else's benefit
just to get ahead or reach certain goals
to do what I feel obligated to do
so others will think and act exactly how I want them to

I don't actually want to manipulate what people think
but I try my best to just say what's truly on my mind
and I know how exhausting it is for those who feel they have to think one thing but say another
it's a lot to carry in your head at once
they never find any peace because they're always waiting for the other shoe to drop
impatiently wondering if the lie will finally give them everything they wanted

it’s just easier to exist without the double meanings and the double talk

I just don't see it that way. You can't really bridge the gap between good and evil because they're fundamentally at odds. To me, matter is inherently tied to the darker side of existence, while the spirit is where true goodness lives. It’s like trying to mix oil and water—they just aren't meant to occupy the same space.

I mean, that last part is definitely true—it hits home—but the idea itself carries some weight too. Fixing yourself is where everything starts, and that’s the primary thing... though I wouldn't say it's the *only* thing we can do, not by a long shot.

Look, we've got two hands, two legs, one brain, and the free will to decide what to do with them. If we weren't meant to act on our own accord, I guess free will wouldn't have been given to us in the first place.

"Whoever meets the world discovers a corpse. And whoever discovers the corpse is not worthy of the world."

"I walked right into the heart of the world and manifested within its flesh. I found them all drunk, yet not a single soul was thirsty. My soul felt such pity for the sons of men—they’re just blind at heart, unable to see that people arrive in this world empty and leave it just as hollow.
But right now, everyone is intoxicated. Once they finally sober up from the wine, only then will they change their ways."
