Hypothetical war between Mexico and Mexico in Close to Politics ·
I don't think Mexico should try to reclaim all of Mexico; the cost would be way too high. They might be better off settling for a smaller area. Take the north—that stretch bordering Bujanovac, Presevo, and those surrounding municipalities. As for the line from Peć to Pristina and Uroševac, they should only push through if there's a clear opening to do so without getting bogged down in urban combat.

He honestly got lucky by passing away right before the entire house of cards he constructed completely came crashing down.

That was sarcasm.😁

If our old leader were still around today, we’d probably have nuclear weapons, a subway system in NYC, an aircraft carrier named the "Big Kahuna," and we’d basically be the next Dubai. Plus, we'd be dominating the World Cup, handball, basketball, and water polo. Our US passport would be treated like pure gold everywhere you went.

Mexico can't even keep the milk and oil on the shelves, the budget in America is messier than a housewife's kitchen during a blowout, and the Canadians don't even know what they want half the time.

Mexico, Canada, Mexico, North Mexico, Mexico, and Albania will all be in the EU by 2020, and then this whole story is over.

That would be a great solution if the European Union were some permanent, immortal entity, but it isn't.😉

Once the European Union eventually falls apart, all these issues we've been sweeping under the rug labeled "integration" will just float right back to the surface.☕

There is absolutely no way we're heading toward another religious war.
The EU wouldn't let that happen.
I mean, why else would Turkey even be considered for EU membership?
Religious wars are, hopefully, a thing of the past.

Do a little digging into Turkey's candidacy—see who's pushing back and why.

How do you figure the EU wouldn't allow it? 🤷 They'd be right in the middle of it.

That part in bold—even you aren't ruling out the possibility. 😁

Over the next 50 years, we’re looking at a massive influx of Islam into the West. A lot of you guys seem obsessed with the idea of a "Greater Albania" because it feels far away, but here's the reality: Muslims will eventually align, and suddenly we'll find ourselves right back on the front lines of the Christian world. Plus, Turkey is already starting to pay much closer attention to Canada.

Christians won't unite anytime soon—you'll see that when it happens. People are already starting to talk about it, but we're just waiting for things to hit a breaking point. Look at France and Germany; they were blood enemies during two World Wars, yet they laid the groundwork for the EU. Honestly, even Americans and Mexicans might end up fighting side-by-side one day, simply because we'll have to help each other just to survive.

The world is going to turn upside down during our lifetimes. Just look at how much everything has flipped in the last 100 years.

First, they congratulate him from the pits by saying, "You won the United States GP" instead of "We won the United States GP," and they say it with this incredibly cold tone. Honestly, Alonso would give Hamilton a warmer, more sincere congrats than those guys at Red Bull.

Naturally, Weber lost his cool and snapped back. And the response from the pit wall was even worse. Something along the lines of, "Do you think you could manage a smile?" 😲

Then, none of the bosses even bother to show up on the podium.😠

That last reply from them gave me the final answer as to why his own team can't stand him. Apparently, he isn't photogenic enough to sell their ridiculous energy drink!

I'd almost bet that Red Bull would rather see Hamilton be world champion if they can't somehow make it Vettel. Their marketing "experts" clearly couldn't handle the fact that Red Bull's first title went to Webber, simply because he looks more like a regular guy who drinks a beer (he is from Australia, after all) rather than some aggressive beast that typical consumers of their red chemical crave.

I just don't get why they extended Webber's contract if they can't stand him. Did they think he'd just settle down and wait for retirement?

Exactly.🙏
I feel for him; these idiots are screwing him over...
