placidsurfer9 said:and ... that perfect blue flag situation where everyone’s happy... what does that actually look like???????????

Alright, let me give you a quick lesson so you actually learn something here...
That happens when someone gets overtaken and simultaneously there isn't even a sniff of a chance to try and get that spot back
Just watch any random Formula 1 race and you'll see that basically every single overtake works that way, except for this one 😛

placidsurfer9 said:Hey, I'm literally inviting you to the race!! 😂

I'm just waiting for you to agree to the races "big racer"
It's plural, man, if you didn't notice. 😉
By the way, quick question... did you catch qualifying?? Like, never does Kimi block during qualifying!! haha I told you I'd catch you... if you missed it and you're hunting through archives, you aren't even a real F1 fan 😛

Since when did one exception become the rule? 🤷

placidsurfer9 said:Look, if these subjective opinions happen to align with the folks who were calling Alonso the favorite for the world title... well, some of us get it and some of us don't. It just takes a higher level of intellect, I guess... 😂😂 chill out a bit... why are you getting so worked up... wanna go hit the go-kart track??!! 😂😂

I'm still waiting for you to actually agree to some real racing, "great racer"... 😂

placidsurfer9 said:man, I wouldn't even dream of an idea as desperate as yours... but hey, gotta hand it to you, you've got quite the imagination 😂😂😂 really running wild there 😂😂

that guy bwah is clearly someone's clone ☕

and honestly, based on how you talk and think, you're the first person who comes to mind 👎

placidsurfer9 said:Look, John Bennett4 hit back at you, so I’m starting to think you aren't being totally fair here. I'm curious, though—in your book, what does an "objective" missed call actually look like? I'm a huge fan of Kimi as a driver too, he's a total legend!! And yeah, if Heikki had ended up in first, second place would have been fine, so I don't get why you're fighting so hard to defend Heikki's rights right now.😂😂

Honestly, you could just rewind the tape and see how many people actually think Lewis didn't play it fair.😉
If it helps you wrap your head around it, we can always throw up a poll just to prove a point.😛

John Bennett4 said:Everyone’s suddenly an expert on ethics, huh?

The rules are straightforward—he should’ve been passed. Nobody specified a gap distance, he made the move, end of story.

And honestly, you aren't even a fan or being objective; you're just a straight-up troll.

placidsurfer9, did you seriously make a clone account (that's five posts now) just so you'd have someone to agree with your nonsense...?

That’s actually against the rules here since you can't use a sockpuppet to argue with yourself...
Plus, considering the insults being thrown around, I'm expecting some mods to step in and hand out sanctions per the site guidelines. ☕

placidsurfer9 said:Come on, quit making things up... there wasn't even a hint of unfairness here. He was clearly faster before the chicane, and they were side-by-side through the turn itself... once they cleared that, he backed off just enough while Kimi was flat out, and as soon as Kimi pulled ahead, he had the right to go for the move again. What else do you fans want? For him to be five cars ahead? Stop talking nonsense.

That wasn't a fair pass, honestly, and I'm really hoping the FIA makes the right call on this one.☕

As for the whole "fanboy" thing... man, you should've figured out by now that I'm not a Lewis fan, a Massa fan, or a Kimi fan. I can actually look at this situation objectively, unlike you, so those little "biased fan" jabs just aren't gonna fly with me here.😛

And man, just look at how much those commentators are losing their minds compared to our guys back home...
our local crew doesn't even come close, and honestly, you can't even blame them for staying chill during moments like that 😂

Look at what this jerk is claiming...
Kimi pushed him 😲😲
Belgian GP - Circuit of the Americas in Formula 1 ·
The refs are looking into it 🙄
Lewis Hamilton is gonna take the win 😂😂😂

fadedfox18 said:Honestly, seeing him dive past Lewis Hamilton right after handing that spot back to Kimi? That’s easily the ballsiest move I’ve seen since the Schumacher era.

I'm with you on that one ☕
It wasn't even about being polite or letting him through; it was clearly just setting up the perfect slingshot for the overtake.
Belgian GP - Circuit of the Americas in Formula 1 ·
Who even is this guy 🤣

I honestly have no clue how Kimi managed to wiggle out of that move against Lewis Hamilton just like that... did they actually touch or what?

hollowcanyon6 said:Maybe we should dive into this? 🤔
I can't actually watch YouTube videos directly, so I'm flying blind here! If you want me to dive into this, just give me a quick rundown of what’s happening in the clip or paste a transcript. Once you do that, I'll get to work rewriting it with my usual style—keeping it chill, punchy, and totally fresh. Just let me know the details!
Honestly, it doesn't even feel like we missed out on seeing Kimi, which is a shame because he really should have been there given how he was cutting those corners. 🤷
If that's how we're playing it, Lewis Hamilton should definitely be looking at a drive-through penalty.

If they decide to slap him with a drive-through penalty, he’s basically screwed since there's no way for him to pit anymore. In that case, it just turns into a 25-second time penalty added to his final result. If that happens, Lewis Hamilton drops straight down to third. ☕
Maybe they'll actually decide to do something to make the championship more interesting. 🙂
F1 Belgian GP - Spa-Francorchamps in Formula 1 ·
Look, regardless of how shady the officiating felt, this was easily one of the most intense battles for the top spot we've seen in ages

When it comes to Ferrari, they’d honestly be better off just letting their drivers work together—kind of like how McLaren has been playing it since the start of the season—to hand a win over to Felipe Massa. It beats playing "fair" and just praying that Lewis Hamilton DNFs a race or two out of the remaining 🙄 just so Kimi Räikkönen can actually stay in the hunt for the title.

Samuel Baker3 said:Man, just wait until Kimi ends up taking the championship again. I really want to see who Jerković is going to try to pin the blame on then. Since he didn't snag the title, he'll be looking for a scapegoat, especially now that Alonso isn't around the garage anymore to take the heat. Everything's basically revolving around him at this point. 😂

I don't know, man. It’s looking pretty tough for Kimi to pull this one off...
So, when is Felipe Massa going to step up and become the clear number one in the team? Honestly, once that happens, we might actually see him making a serious run at the championship.

I’ll buy him a drink at Monza if he actually manages to take down Hamilton. 😁
F1 Belgian GP - Spa-Francorchamps in Formula 1 ·
The commentators are alright, but this Jergović guy... 🤣

Aside from Hamilton himself, Jergović is probably the luckiest man alive that Kimi got knocked out...
He can barely keep a straight face, honestly 🙄
Belgian GP - Circuit of the Americas in Formula 1 ·
He kind of messed up a perfectly good drive there by trying that wild Coltard-style overtake on Mark Webber 🤣

rustystag7 said:man, Heikki Kovalainen is such a beast 👋

He’s driving like an absolute legend 🙏
Belgian GP - Circuit of the Americas in Formula 1 ·
rustystag7 said:Yeah, right. Like we'll even see Kimi Räikkönen racing this season anyway. 🙏

But man, I don't know what kind of crazy driving that was when he squeezed past Massa... 😁

I mean, who knows if he’ll even be on the grid this year, but honestly, seeing him pull stuff like that at this track is totally on brand for him...

Back in 2004, he actually beat Schumacher, even when Michael was basically untouchable and that was his only win all year. Then in 2005, he left Alonso in the dust, and in 2007, he outclassed Massa, Alonso, and Lewis Hamilton McLaren. So yeah, you could say this is his playground, and Lewis Hamilton McLaren doesn't really stand a chance against Kimi Räikkönen here.
