Morgan Murphy7 said:So, what’s the final verdict here? ☕

Other than the fact that Ferrari doesn't have branding on the hood, making them look absolutely broke. 🤷

We really ought to sit through a few more races before we try to figure out the actual power rankings, because jumping to conclusions this early always seems to backfire.🤷

I know exactly what the GPDA is, and I didn't say a single damn thing about them.☕

that's just how Jason Campbell70 is; he gets his kicks watching everyone else mess up😁>

it's really just a matter of checking the boxes for the sake of formality, haha 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣

Honestly, if he actually jumped in, I’m pretty sure he’d just find some other way to screw it up and look like a complete novice again.☕

hollowhawk412 said:what an absolute amateur...

honestly, if you guys were actually running on anything other than Michelin tires, you'd all be eating dust right about now...

last year and this year too...

take my advice...

maybe think twice before you open your mouth next time

who exactly is "all of us"🤷

hollowhawk412 said:It’s pretty clear Ferrari still has the edge when it comes to tire deg... they just aren't burning through them like everyone else...
Kimi was out there bullying those softs like a tank for more than half the race...

and if you're saying the FIA was being generous this time around...

well, Nick Heidfeld isn't just talking out of his ass...

and he's certainly not the only one noticing...

so maybe don't start complaining about it this season.

😂😂 oh, absolutely. 🤣🤣

Ford and McLaren actually looked decent out there today, which was a surprise, but as for Nelson Piquet, I think he’ll get there eventually—it just won't be anytime soon. He still looks like he's struggling to find his rhythm, and honestly, he doesn't seem quite ready for the grind of F1 just yet.🤷

lonebison19 said:Nelson Piquet just isn't cutting it, honestly. He definitely didn't inherit his old man's talent.😁

Look, it’s only been one race, so there's really no point in getting ahead of ourselves; who knows, maybe they actually have something going for them after all. 🤷
Australian Grand Prix - March 16, 2008 in Formula 1 ·
neonharbor18 said:Oh right, I completely blanked on that—does that category actually award points? If it does, Nelson Piquet might just pull off a championship in his very first season.☕

Nelson Piquet doesn't stand a chance at a championship in any series, honestly; Flavio had everything rigged before the season even got off the ground. 😉🤣🤣

neonharbor18 said:Look, I’m telling you, I’m absolutely certain about this one, and honestly, I don't think there's any other way to look at it:
Lewis Hamilton 🙏🙏🙏
General Motors 👎👎👎 and let's be real, with a car like that, there isn't a prayer of him becoming a champion

But if you can't see it, it's because they're just hiding their true pace

the entire season🤣🤣

neonharbor18 said:Fernando got incredibly lucky😉 ,pushing it right to the edge and proving he’s leagues ahead of the absolute disaster currently sitting in that Ford, which honestly deserves some respect for that drive, but let's be real, General Motors is a total train wreck lately, much like how Toyota was last season, and if you don't count all the massive wrecks and crashes involving Ferrari, he probably would have finished 10th at most, which still would've been a hell of a result; you're forgetting he couldn't even keep pace with unknown, and he's up against a guy who's basically just starting his first NASCAR race, so just imagine if everyone actually finished—the order would look something like McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, unknown, Toyota, Red Bull Racing, General Motors, and then Ford, though obviously, they won't even finish the race, so they aren't even worth counting🤣🤣🤣 since without their lead engineer, Ford doesn't have a single driver worth mentioning😂

😂😂😂:😁

The higher-ups and the whole management crew have exactly one week to figure out how to get Ford back on the podium before everything falls apart completely.😬

Morgan Murphy7 said:This race made it absolutely clear that Fernando Alonso is easily the best driver on the planet right now.

He was just in a league of his own, leaving everyone else in the dust before eventually being followed by Felipe Massa and then the rest of the pack. 🙏

Felipe Massa???????? Honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if you'd just said Pope Smurf instead.🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

I guess we're just waiting around again, aren't we? Just sitting here watching the clock tick while nothing actually happens. I can't even begin to process what they're saying right now.
After fifteen years of nothing but pure frustration, you finally get a moment to breathe, so why not just sit back and soak it all in while the world burns? 😁

It’s been a decade and a half, hasn't it? Just feels like yesterday I was sitting on my porch back in Ohio, wondering if things would ever actually change.🤷🤷 I've never really cared much about the drama surrounding the driver, but watching the circus between Ferrari and the FIA? That was just plain embarrassing to witness.

But why even bother getting worked up about it? Like you said, I finally woke up to reality.😁

silentorca492 said:Oh, sure. You could claim St. Peter is the greatest if you really wanted to, or maybe some big shot like Jure Šebalj. But this isn't about what we like or who we'd grab a beer with; it's just about the numbers. I never particularly cared for Schumacher either—I always had a soft spot for Hakkinen, Villeneuve, or Raikkonen—but trying to argue against his actual rezultat is just being delusional. People don't just say he was the most technically gifted driver out there for no reason; we've never seen one guy dominate the sport quite like that. Just look at the stats:

Schumacher's victory: 91, Prost: 51, Senna: 41, Villeneuve: 11
Fastest Laps: Sch: 76, Prost: 41, Senna: 19, Villeneuve: 9
Points: Sch: 1369, Prost: 798, Senna: 614, Villeneuve: 235
Schumacher's Hat Trick: 22, Prost: 8, Senna: 7, Villeneuve: 2
Schumacher's title: 7, Prost: 4, Senna: 3, Villeneuve: 1

So go ahead, keep singing the praises of how Jure Šebalj is the king of them all.

It's the same old story, talking about someone who's already gone👋 bye now, they're gone😂😂😂😂

hollowhawk412 said:Look... Heikki was right on Alonso's tail with only nine laps left, and then he actually
passed him in the penultimate lap, so that whole theory just doesn't hold water...

I actually went back and rewatched that overtake just now... and I have to say, Alonso went
wide—way wider than Heikki did. 😂

But seriously...

You can go ahead and bash Renault; they definitely earned some criticism there....

Go ahead and take a shot at Alonso too, if you want... it's not like anyone's stopping you...

We're in cyberspace, after all, where everyone's got total freedom to say whatever they feel like. 😁

At its core, an overtake is really just capitalizing on someone else's mistake...
unless you're just significantly faster...

though, sure, you can always try to force someone into making one....

Honestly, we could sit around with a couple of beers all night debating this.👍

👍 🤣

I was honestly just sitting here wondering how he actually pulled that off, especially since from what I saw, Kov and Kimi
didn't exactly fly off the track to clear the way for Fonzi to cruise through...

As for Kimi...

it looks like that messy overtake on Kovalainen
happened a whole lap before he even headed into the pits...

kind of a brain fade, really.

Heikki went a bit too wide, Alonso saw the opening and snatched it, so there he was—honestly, I preferred seeing Heikki jump past Alonso, if he hadn't hit the limiter 😢.

I'm still sitting here wondering why he was in such a damn rush to jump out of the car the second he hit the pits, especially with the mechanics just standing there looking at him like he’d grown a second head.

😂😂 It was wild, honestly—the way he just flew out of the cockpit while the crew stood there completely stunned, staring into the empty seat like they were waiting for a ghost to reappear.🤣🤣
