Honestly, just lock down the season already. 🙏🙏 😁

I just heard that McLaren is bringing a massive update to Silverstone, enough to have people on the forums actually joking about it for once.
And they actually have the nerve to call that thing a new car. 😁 Anyway, since Ferrari is showing up with that exhaust system just like Red Bull, and people are already claiming it’s going to give them a massive performance boost heading into the Miami International Autodrome, I guess we'll see if the hype actually holds up.
It’s going to be absolute chaos...😲

Total madness on the track; bulls and matadors will be dropping from the sky and running between the cars. 🤣

I mean, seriously, if this crew actually managed to build a car that was three seconds faster per lap than the next guy, you still couldn't bet on them winning a championship, because they'd probably find a way to screw that up too.😵
They really do have a talent for ruining every single thing they touch.🤦

Anyway, just let me know when and where we're meeting up for those cold beers at Pivkan's.😁

You know, they actually could...😁 it’s about the perfect time for it.🙏

no

@stormybadger8 👍 , honestly... you'd probably rather see him blow up his engine and just pack it in at some backmarker team than deal with this😁

Nicole Reyes97 said:Look, Arthur Doyle70, don't play dumb with me. The fact that Kimi Räikkönen had to retire was just bad luck, plain and simple, but if you look at who was constantly breathing down his neck and fighting him for the win, well... I'm pretty sure it was your favorite, Fernando Alonso. 😍
I honestly have no clue what he did to deserve such a massive lack of respect from everyone. 🤷

I hear you... 😁

I haven't the slightest idea what their deal is either. 🤷

Nicole Reyes97 said:It’s funny how that works—the second Fernando Alonso actually puts in a decent shift during a race, everyone immediately starts claiming he just got lucky with his pit stops or that the other drivers basically handed him the result on a silver platter. 🙄 He just didn't have enough luck on his side to ever clinch a world title. You can't just stumble into that kind of success; you actually need some real skill and brains to pull it off. And he proved that beyond any doubt. ☕ If you actually bothered to read through everything, you'd see I was already posting my own comments on the forums before those weird glitches even started happening. He’s the one who messed this up himself. And honestly, don't give him credit for being lucky when he clearly just lacks any actual sense—it's getting old.☕If he hadn't gotten that lucky break during the pit stops today, there's no way he would have held onto third. Honestly, he showed zero backbone when he failed to let Lewis Hamilton past through the pits—it was pretty pathetic to watch.

Look, if you can't handle seeing Fernando Alonso on your screen without getting worked up, maybe just do yourself a favor and stop commenting.

It feels like Kim's old engines from back in 2005 are finally crawling out of their graves at the Mercedes sanctuary, and honestly, they probably have a few choice words to say about Mercedes, Adrian, and Kim himself. 😁 🤣🤣

stormybadger8 said:I was reading through this report on Autosport about the chaos at the Canadian Grand Prix 2010, and honestly, it’s just more of the same nonsense you'd expect from the FIA. It feels like every time we think there might be some actual racing integrity, another mess unfolds that leaves everyone feeling a bit exhausted. I remember sitting in a diner outside of Indianapolis years ago, watching a similar debacle unfold on a grainy TV screen, thinking then that the sport was heading toward this exact kind of bureaucratic headache. Now, here we are again.

Honestly, it feels like from here on out, they're just going to start handing out massive penalties for the exact same thing every single time. 🙄

What’s really funny is thinking about how, now that someone actually breaks something on their car, they'll probably just shrug off whatever penalty comes their way because of that whole McLaren mess. 🙄

And what exactly are you talking about when you claim Hamilton copied someone? 🤷

It feels like the FIA absolutely butchered McLaren with those massive penalties, and deep down, they know the whole thing was a complete joke that lacked any actual logic. Now, it seems like they're trying to make up for it by turning a blind eye whenever something goes sideways, and honestly, the team is taking full advantage of that leniency.

Maybe if I bought you a beer, you’d finally take a breather and stop being so hard on McLaren. 😉
You’re acting pretty wound up...🤷 One of these days, I'll just hop in my old Volkswagen and we can drive out to Woking together.
Just go ahead and ask them whatever you want to know...👍

stormybadger8 said:I mean, you can think whatever you want, but if you didn't see how Hamilton's pit exit went, 🤣

And besides, they'll probably slap a penalty on Robert Kubica after the race just like they did with Michael Schumacher, though honestly, his penalty won't change a thing at this point. 🤣

At the end of the day, I'm just expecting one lonely point for Narain Karthikeyan. 😉

Not really, 🤣🤣 but I pretty much know what's going on because a little squirrel just hopped into my room and spilled all the details to me.

Michael Lee4 said:Look, I actually really like Robert Kubica, but honestly, for what he pulled there, they should have handed him a massive penalty... man, that was straight-up reckless, I don't know what possessed him to try and pull 😲

The bottom line is they slapped them with a $10,000 fine just because he wasn't back in the pits on time.🙂

The FIA🙏 are absolute geniuses, aren't they?

stormybadger8 said:I mean, am I really sure about that? Personally, I think everyone should be starting exactly where they’re supposed to, though I suppose Webber's spot will just be sitting there empty. 🤔

And what exactly would be the point of that? 🤷

Looking back at the results from the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix, it’s just one more reminder of how much of a chaotic mess the sport can be when things actually go sideways. You see names like Webber and Hossa popping up in the standings, and it really makes you wonder if any of these drivers actually have control over their fate or if they're just passengers in high-tech metal boxes waiting for a rainstorm to ruin their weekend. I remember sitting in my garage during one of those races, grease up to my elbows, thinking about how much easier life would be if we could just predict the chaos instead of being swallowed by it. It's all just noise in the end.

I know, I know, I’m getting all philosophical on you, but if something actually went wrong, people wouldn't be calling him a "genius," they'd be calling him an idiot. At the end of the day, he could have easily been swallowed up by the Scuderia Ferrari car trailing right behind him...

Yeah, you're definitely philosophizing 👍

And we are definitely not betting ten grand ☕

Michael Lee4 said:I’m a bit out of the loop here, can someone just give me the quick version of who got penalized and why?

Lewis Hamilton gets hit with a $10,000 fine because he didn't make it back to the pits fast enough... basically, McLaren was cutting corners on fuel costs, so they told him to shut the engine down to make sure they had at least that one liter required by the FIA for the fuel samples, and then some guy actually had to get out and push the car back—so yeah, there's your penalty, in a nutshell.🤣
