Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
Gregory Ramos3 said:But then how on earth are they going to defend Belarus while trying to keep a lid on all those potential internal riots?

Quote : The Belarusian military currently Has 50,000 soldiers and officers

If he actually goes through with that, he'll be an even bigger idiot than Putin.

Look, I've been saying this since day one, and people just laughed at me—like, how can a country with only 40k soldiers even dream of starting a war with Ukraine? Meanwhile, those Iskanders are staring right at Poland.

Honestly, Lukashenko is toast the second his little buddy falls.

There are plenty of suspects—everyone has a reason to point the finger at someone else.

But

ExxonMobil is going to stop shipping gas through Ukraine too. Personally, my money is on Russia being behind this sabotage. They want to drive a wedge through the European Union and jack up prices—basically doing exactly what their media outlets have been pushing regarding the "radicalization of Europeans."

It honestly turns my stomach how everyone just automatically blames Russia without thinking—kind of like when that Striž jet went down near Washington, D.C. and everyone ended up blaming Ukrainians in the end.

I mean, yeah, it was most likely the Russians, but anyone on the list (the Americans, the Russians, the Ukrainians) has plenty of motivation to blow that pipeline sky-high.

So, you're telling me the Russians pulled a total false flag and trashed the pipeline themselves?

Get those ATACMS sent over to Ukraine ASAP.

They’ve already announced referendums for Zaporizhzhia, Donbas, and Kherson.

Over in the Russian Duma, they're already pushing to officially annex those territories once the votes wrap up.

Medvedev is out there claiming that once these areas become part of Russia, the country will have every right to call up a mobilization, since they supposedly act as a buffer protecting Russia from attacks.

Meanwhile, the Duma is even floating a new law to crack down on anyone who fails to show up when called for mobilization.

This isn't looking good.

Lyman is probably gonna tie up those Russian forces since, honestly, once they cleared out Izium yesterday, Yarove basically became a total afterthought strategically speaking.

If you really want to hit Lysychansk and Severodonetsk, the move is to grab Svatove—that’s how you’d completely wreck the Russian lines down there.

As of right now, though, we haven't seen any confirmation that the Ukrainians have actually crossed the Oskil.

A few months back, I mentioned that once winter hits, Lukashenko would start prepping his country for war—especially if the Russians start losing ground...
Those Iskanders aren't sitting there just for show near the Polish border.

Honestly, I have no clue how NATO should even react if the Belarusians start pushing from the north.
Full-scale response? A partial one? Even Poland is gearing up.
I'm stumped.

If this leaked today, it's not just proof of a total lack of humanity—it's a mockery of the highest order.

Independence Day... sounds like the perfect excuse for an M30 rocket firework show.👍

And hey, once the MGM-140 arrives with its +186 miles range, we'll see who's actually making a mockery of things then.

Both the DPR and LPR are gonna be toast.

Or maybe it's just an Informer story.

No joke—I shut the video off after ten seconds.
While Ukrainians are out there doing the work of taking POWs, the Russians are just handing back these... well, let's just say they aren't exactly returning whole men.

And look, this isn't some one-off thing either; we heard similar stories coming out of Mariupol before.

Ukrainian sabotage squads? Zero impact. Meanwhile, you’ve got partisans just slapping stickers everywhere and making creepy little effigies of dead Russ soldiers.

Honestly, that one grandma with the baked goods did more damage to ten Russ soldiers than some massive, expensive Ukrainian commando raid ever could.

The real culprit? It’s the folks who were handing out cheap credit left and right like candy...
The whole mess with the coronavirus and the war in Ukraine—it just acted as an accelerant for a situation that was already brewing.

Now, word on the street is they’re about to hike interest rates to basically "kill off" the massive consumer spending power that triggered this inflation spike in the first place.
And predictably, the ones getting hit hardest will be the regular people who locked in those long-term, low-interest loans back when money was easy.

So, according to the logic here, the way we "fix" this crisis is by making everyone a little bit poorer. Makes sense, right?
It’s just another band-aid solution that has absolutely nothing to do with Russia.

Russia is just the booster rocket for this crisis. This whole thing was going to happen regardless.

That whole stunt where they were filming the journalists? Honestly, it’s just pathetic. Beyond pathetic, actually.

The passive-aggression coming off that woman is just... wow. It’s palpable.

Amanda Robinson4, maybe try looking for a more practical fix here. I’ve no clue what your admin dashboard looks like, but those "trivia" bits—like who was casting or handling the VFX—you can probably just wipe once the movie actually hits theaters. Maybe create some kind of summary instead?

For me, it’s basically a little reminder for when the movie drops, and honestly, half the time I decide whether or not I'm even going to see a movie based on stuff like that.

Mad respect to the mods, though—I was low-key terrified you guys were gonna lock this thread for good.

Since I actually got a reply, I guess I can chill out now.

So, specifically talking about
The Dark Knight (2021).
I was actually planning on sitting down tonight to watch the movie—figured I’d drop an early review here on the forum—but nope. Turns out the thread was locked like two months ago.

Now I'm just wondering why.
It feels like you guys are basically forcing everyone over to Reddit, especially the crowd under 50.

Andrij Melnyk, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, is basically saying he’s completely floored by how US officials have been brushing him off when he asks for military support.

Apparently—and this is the wild part—he’s been chatting with ministers who basically tell him, “Look, you guys only have a few hours left anyway, so what’s the point in us stepping in now?”

It’s the exact same bullshit we saw during the whole COVID era—you get a handful of trolls (probably just clones of the guys who hold partial shares) with maybe a hundred or two posts under their belt, and suddenly they think they’re some kind of geniuses.

Who actually gives a damn about Telegram? If there’s anything more unreliable than Twitter, it’s definitely Telegram. There’s zero oversight, zero rules... just total chaos.
