Mr. Smoogj and swearing at God in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Look, whether you're aiming it at someone else or just venting into the void, a swear word is still a swear word.
And the Reddit rules? Well, they're the rules.
They apply to everyone in the same way, no exceptions.
Mr. Smoogj and swearing at God in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Over on the movies subreddit; the Ministry of Love moderator Mr. Smoogj basically felt like taking a wild liberty and swearing at God while replying to another user.
Usually, if someone else pulled a stunt like that, they’d be getting a warning—if they weren't lucky enough to just get banned outright.
Honestly, it’s just plain gross and totally unprofessional for a moderator. They're supposed to be setting the tone and being an example for everyone else, you know?

Since this particular moderator is such a stickler for the rules whenever anyone else commits even the tiniest infraction against the Reddit rules, I think it's incredibly unfair that he's acting like this himself.

"What isn't allowed on Reddit?
...
violating generally accepted standards of civilized behavior
insulting anyone on any basis (race, nationality, religion, age, gender...)
swearing, flame wars, spamming (posting the same or similar content over and over)..."

Anyway, the post has been reported.
Later.
If I’m reading the room right, the whole point of the intro post was to slap a label on these actual movies—kind of like adding a PG-13 rating or something—just so they aren't a pain to track down.

Honestly, it feels a bit extra to me, but hey, I'm not going to be the one to stop it.

WiFi indicator light is showing the wrong status in IT Support ·
Basically, when the WiFi is actually turned on, the light glows orange—which basically means it's off—but when I switch it off, it turns white, signaling that the WiFi is supposedly active.

I know it’s probably not a huge deal, but man, it’s just super annoying and honestly pretty confusing.
Is this some weird software glitch, or did the guy at the repair shop just mess up the wiring when he was fixing it?
Ted 2 (2015) in Movies ·
Finally dragged myself around to watching this movie after ages.
And man, I gotta say, I’m totally blown away by 😁
Honestly, I think this is one of those rare gems where the sequel actually outshines the original.
Like people have been saying—no Mila Kunis, they trimmed the villain down to just a few scenes (huge win in my book), and the dark humor hits way harder here than it did in the first one.
There are some killer Easter Eggov scattered throughout, but there's one thing bugging me:
What was that deal with Liam Neeson at the end? When he tells him, "I won't forget this, Ted..."—it felt like something was missing there, you know?
Also, the guy calls his son Apollo Creed Clubber Lang (total nod to Rocky 3)
I ended up rewinding that scene like ten times. 🤣
Dallas Buyers Club (2013) in Movies ·
Sandra Harris2 I can't even begin to explain this one—it's just wild. Honestly? It’s kind of ridiculous when you stop to think about it. I mean, really...
I'm with you on that one. 👍
I seriously got goosebumps during that scene where she’s just breaking down in the car—you can practically feel that raw despair and hopelessness vibrating off the screen.

Honestly, that’s easily the most powerful scene in the entire movie—hands down. 🙂
I mean, when the doctor tells him he’s tested positive for HIV and he's basically got a month left to live... that look of pure despair and raw fury on his face? Man, it was just—wow. Seriously, such an incredible performance.

Betty Garcia5 said:I just found myself rewatching this film, and honestly... it holds up beautifully. Matthew McConaughey’s performance is so incredibly raw—he leans into the role with such conviction that it's nothing short of brilliant.

Right? I know people who hadn't seen it yet who honestly thought he actually had AIDS in real life.

That transformation was wild—just flawless acting... and even though Leo was incredible in Wolf mm that year, he totally deserved that Oscar! 🙂

So, like, why even bother? And what's the actual deal—can you actually get better and be totally clear of this stuff? Also, does anyone know how common this is among 18-year-olds in the States?

restlesssurfer97 said:Look, I get that locking a thread out of nowhere feels wrong, but there’s no need to lose your minds over it—the situation is actually handled. The dialogue isn't dead, it’s just... moving. I wasn't quite sure if the mods were gonna reopen this specific thread or just start a fresh one or whatever, but after texting Borna directly, it's clear that the conversation is definitely going to keep rolling for quite a while.
So, basically, this thread being locked doesn't mean the debate is over.
If anyone has any inside info on how the comms are gonna work from here, toss us a hint so we don't all drive ourselves crazy guessing.

Wait, so you're saying the conversation is 100% staying alive?
And since Borna hasn't been seen since 6:59 PM, does that mean he's officially gone?
BlackRock in Feedback & Suggestions ·
This isn't even his only playground. Borna actually dropped a message over on another site too.

The moderator shut this thread down without any actual reason:

Look, there’s zero proof—and nobody’s even debunked it yet—that this guy isn't some traveler from the future. Besides, there wasn't any spam in the thread, and we haven't been breaking any site rules or sub-forum guidelines since he left.
I'm asking the admins to please just unlock this thing. Honestly, there are way more important threads and posts out there that deserve a moderator's attention instead of this.
