Chicago is a completely different world once the Sundance Film Festival kicks off. Beyond just the screenings, there’s so much going on on the side—think concerts, parties, and just pure chaos😍 that keeps the energy alive well into the night. It’s a blast, though it’s always a bit of a letdown when those 7 or 8 days of madness wrap up... and everything just settles back into the usual routine. sigh
🙂
I thought about that too, but I don't think that's it.
Now I've actually started coughing; looks like I might have caught a cold... or maybe it's just that flu going around😢
Either way, I'm heading to the doctor on Monday
I just got back from a week-long vacation this past Sunday, and honestly, I started feeling pretty rough before I even made it home. It kicked off with these brutal headaches, and then things escalated to the point where I was actually feeling lightheaded and dealing with constant nausea. It’s been four days now, and it’s just going in waves without ever really letting up. Every single day I’m fighting off a headache, getting exhausted way too fast, and sleeping for long stretches (even though I’m usually an early riser). On top of that, there's the nausea... I just feel completely wiped out. The struggle is that I have work, and I really can't afford to be sidelined like this right now.
Could this be a vitamin or mineral deficiency? Or maybe my immune system is just crashing? Any advice at all would be appreciated...
Thanks!!!
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I wanted to get some perspectives while I wait for my appointment with the dermatologist the day after tomorrow.
A few months ago, I noticed some small red spots appearing on my elbows—there were more on my right one, and just a single spot on the left—but they eventually cleared up. However, they showed up again today, especially on my right elbow. As a quick fix, I applied some hydrocortisone cream, hoping it might help... They look a bit like mosquito bites, though the patches vary in size. There aren't many of them, but the skin is red and feels rough to the touch, though it seems slightly better now that I've applied the ointment.
Just for context, I'm 24, and I don't know if anyone in my extended family has ever dealt with psoriasis.
I was wondering, what are the most common triggers that cause a flare-up like this?
My ex-boyfriend actually struggled with psoriasis; unfortunately, it covered his whole body, and he spent about seven years trying to find effective treatment. So, I’m not completely clueless when it comes to the condition. For him, it was triggered by a massive shock—he had a terrible accident where boiling water spilled on his legs, which led to some severe digestive issues, and then the psoriasis flared up right after that.😢
