Yeah, unfortunately that's just how it goes... I just got back from Chicago last night, and man, the place was absolutely wild. There were crowds everywhere even late at night, which honestly caught me off guard 🙂

Honestly, you should probably go see both a gynecologist and a dermatologist... I mean, "dead urine"? Please. People will seriously come up with anything these days 🙄
Honestly, I’m skipping the beach trips this year—tampons just aren't an option for me right now since I deal with seven days of heavy flow followed by seven days of intense cramps... I really have zero interest in spending my vacation fighting that.
It wasn't always this much of a headache; back when I was younger, I could just pop a tampon in and head straight into the water without a second thought.
But lately? It's been a disaster. The last time I tried, I had to swap it out every 20 minutes because the leaking is just constant. I am definitely not looking to spend my entire trip hiding in a bathroom stall.
So, I finally got my hands on the Dabroston tablets. I’m planning to start taking them a few days before my period hits—around July 14th (since I'm heading out on a trip on the 19th)... my last dose should be July 29th, which lines up perfectly with the end of my cycle🙂.
And my period is due in just two days...

I’ve got a full gynecological checkup scheduled for tomorrow, so I'll finally see if there's anything that actually needs fixing... I'm heading to a slightly higher-end clinic—or so they claim—so I'm hoping they might actually be able to figure something out for once.
Ugh, I’m heading to the coast in two weeks—and since I have a gynecologist appointment this Friday, I’m really hoping we can actually sort something out. If not, I'll be dealing with my period through the entire trip, which would pretty much ruin any chance of me negotiating the travel plans 😢
