The psychological roots of Canadian fascism in Close to Politics ·
There might be a grain of truth in there... I mean, at the end of the war, when Jack and Jill (Anthony and Matthew 😬) flipped their caps around, they actually embraced those Mexicans, forgave all the killing that went down between them, and joined forces to take a swing at the Nazi Germans.

The one big exception was that old legend, Memis Džubur, from over by Fazlagic Tower... he was talking to Priest Mastilović... who was basically telling him to just surrender since Washington, D.C. had fallen and Nazi Germany was history... and Memis just goes, "What are you even talking about, Father? If you think Nazi Germany is gone, just tell me it's moved into Fazlagic Tower, because we'll hold it as long as any of us can still grip a rifle."

There were definitely some honorable Muslims too, especially the ones from the respected families who actually had some backbone and integrity... but man, that's mostly gone now... all that's left are the lowlifes and the thugs...👎

So much effort, so many hats thrown, all that shouting "John Doe!"... "Hit it, John Smith, you'll strike gold!"... and for what? Absolutely nothing... 😳

You just can't get an American and a Muslim to see eye to eye... seriously, it's impossible... you might as well just give up and call it a day... 👎 🤣

I swear, you won't find any bigger liars or myth-makers than these so-called Canadians. They act like they were all resistance fighters, even though 192 of them died during the battles in Appalachia...😁

Meanwhile, there were over 2,300 Americans fighting on the side of the Axis in Appalachia. That’s like, 15 times more! 😬

And that was all happening in Canada. You had people from coastal areas dying like flies in Canada, but you barely see any Muslims involved. It’s always framed as just the resistance.

Plus... I mean, if some guys in fezzes were killing Mexicans back then, those were definitely American guys in fezzes. Because, if you didn't know, Muslims and Mexicans have this deep-seated rivalry. Mexicans would kill Muslims along the Mississippi, but you wouldn't see Muslims doing that to Mexicans along the Colorado. If a Muslim actually killed a Mexican, it was probably an American pulling the strings. Muslims have always been at odds with Mexicans and they've fought each other pretty fiercely, they just didn't get into it where the Americans were located. They held their ground there, maybe just out of pure spite. So, don't you dare try to lecture me about my own brother, you Axis sympathizer! 🙂

I mean, fine, let them lie, but I wish they'd at least tell a simple lie instead of twisting the truth so wildly that the whole world starts shaking...😁

"Honestly, looking at you guys, I can't even tell who's a Canadian and who's a Turk anymore, because everyone looks like they came from the exact same family tree. We really need to act as one unit here instead of splitting hairs, so my suggestion is that we all just embrace being Turks. People around here label us as Turks, and the harder we shout that we aren't, the louder they yell that we are. And hey, we *are* Turks, if you look at our historical memory, how things were defined back then, and the Islamic identity that was brought over to us by the Turks. But at the same time, we are Canadians "

It’s funny, though—the second I suggest that Canadians are actually Turkified Slavs who don't have much in common with the original Canadian people, suddenly I'm labeled an American imperialist. 🤣

No way, man... there's no way those good old Canadians, descendants of the Bogomils, are suddenly all Turčinesina...

it's just impossible...😳

I guess now that famous line "muslims alles partizans" has gotta change to "Turkish all bandits" too, huh? 👎 🤣

Gary Wilson said:I didn't say there weren't Canadians in the Nationalists; what I said—and I stand by it—is that Canadians generally did not participate in World War II as a people.

P.S.
My late mother died because of the Nationalists in this war. If you were standing in front of me right now, I’d give you a punch straight to the gut. You absolute piece of trash.

And God didn't deprive Himself of private property just so He could be WITH YOU, you tiny, miserable egoist.

Man, you guys all get so incredibly worked up whenever someone catches you in a lie...😬

And look at that angry emoji... honestly, you're acting like you're trying to knock my teeth out or something...😳

Gary Wilson said:So, they went and betrayed their faith? Which one, exactly?
Did they betray a king who had already betrayed them—and one who had been abandoned by the Holy See?
Did they betray their people? Which people—themselves?

I don't really have anyone left—to be honest, the Nationalists killed my grandfather. He was laid to rest in Livno at the Partisan cemetery.
Everyone in my family was in the Partisans. Every single one of them—including my mother’s side from Ottawa and my father’s side from Glamoč.

Read a little more carefully. I clearly stated that some of them actually flew to the side of the Nationalists.

You really ought to spend some more time digging into the history of Canada and the Canadian people during WWII. Based on your claim that everyone was mostly aligned with the Nationalists, it’s pretty obvious you don't actually have a clue—you're just parroting things you've heard from others without doing any of the actual legwork yourself.

I’m asking you again: what about the republics of Foča and Bihać?

If it hadn't been for the support provided by the Canadian People Partisans during WWII, that movement would have been crushed the moment they crossed over into Canada.

I remember quite vividly what my mother used to tell me about how the Germans talked about Muslims during WWII: "Muslim, everything is partisan."

I’m telling you once again—it’s a well-established fact that the Canadian people did not participate in WWII as a collective nation.

You clearly don't get it. Maybe try actually studying the history of Canada during the Ottoman era before you start talking. Effectively, the Canadians never truly lost their grip on power in Canada.
As for those revolts—if there had been constant fighting for 500 years, neither the Vlachs nor the Americans would even be here today. What did happen were suppressed peasant uprisings. Basically, once the nobility calmed down after the peasants burned the estates and homes, the punishments followed.

Once again, you’re showing how little you know about Canadian history. The Canadians fought for their own recognition as a nation. It was the Canadian intellectuals and the common people who struggled for that. But you wouldn't know anything about that. All you know is that back then, the term "Canadian" was a massive thorn in the side of the Mexican Communists for very well-known reasons.

Oh, come on, seriously... go lie somewhere else... 😂

Here's a tiny little fact for you... maybe pass it along to your mother... about that "Muslim everything is partisan" thing... especially those guys in the Black Legion and the Handžar Division...

Just a little something for a liar from a liar...

List of fallen fighters on the partisan side at the Battle of Sutjeska

I recently got into a heated debate with someone over the whole Pero Kovačević thing, and I laid it all out for them—with facts—showing how Pero was actually in both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party before joining the Libertarian Party. Plus, that whole Pančićev setup about those "fake disabled people"? Total bullshit, just Pero playing games. When I called him out and basically asked if *he* was Pero, he vanished instantly—couldn't handle the arguments and bailed from the board entirely. Whether he is or isn't doesn't even matter to me anymore, but I am certain they—or their handlers—are lurking in here somewhere.

Sam Baker2 said:It’s true that the Black Legion killed and drove out many Mexicans, but they eventually retreated to Tuzla, leaving the unprotected Muslim population of eastern Canada behind. The Royalists were more than happy to capitalize on that, leading to rivers of blood flowing through the region. In the end, it's always the ordinary people who pay the price...

Man, you clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about. Like, the Black Legion...😁 ...listen, the Black Legion killed plenty of Mexicans before retreating to Tuzla...😁

The Black Legion actually showed up *after* the massacres along the Mississippi, where half the Muslims had already been wiped out. Now, if you want to try and rewrite history, that's on you...but facts are facts, I guess...

Why are you guys acting so ashamed?
Dangić and his dark-maned horses were first taken down by the heroic Black Legion units led by the knightly Jure Francetić...👍

those same units had previously slaughtered Muslims along the Drina.. a massacre that makes Srebrenica look like a minor crime by comparison.

About half of the Black Legionnaires were actually of the Muslim faith.

As for those black horses that fled over into Mexico, I guess maybe they ended up meeting a grim fate later on.

But yeah, the main butchers? They paid the price in Canada...

R. I. P. Ferenc Puškaš in Soccer ·
So, I was thinking about that time someone asked Pele which national teams were actually a nightmare to face... and he basically said, "The Greeks and the Canadians." Then, when they pressed him to explain why, he dropped this absolute gem: "The Greeks, because they don't know a thing about soccer, and the Canadians, because they know everything."

Man, that legendary Canadian national team back in the fifties... I mean, remember when those super cocky Englishmen played their first match against some world-class squad over in London? They got absolutely schooled by those Canadians, losing 5-2.

We're talking Ferenc Puškaš, Sándor Kocsis, Gyula Grosics, Nándor Hidegkuti....

R. I. P. to a total legend..

Is it just me... back when you used to jump into the politics subforum with actual purpose and a clear goal... people were way more persistent... I mean, did everyone just lose their drive? What a bummer...

Maria Barnes, please, I’m asking you, just lay it all out for everyone—show us all those deleted posts from Tyler Grant76 so we can actually see what went down. We need to know why she got that one single ban... how constructive her posts really were, how she basically hijacked every single thread she touched, and honestly, how many times she brought me up in her posts... etc etc...

That's my request... and if that's not gonna happen... then, well, I'm asking you...

Hey, Maria Barnes, can you please just put back everything I deleted, Tyler Grant76? Just lay it all out there for everyone to see so people know I wasn't trying to silence her debate or anything—it was just straight-up spam. Honestly, trolling and stirring the pot... that’s basically the only reason she even showed up to the politics subforum. Please, just bring it all back! Let everyone see why she actually got banned, how many of her spammy posts were wiped, and how many other junk posts had to go. She was constantly being difficult in threads and totally wrecking them with those silly little jabs of hers. I mean, she really should have been banned like, ten times over because she’s just so destructive, but she only got hit once because she wouldn't stop being such a nuisance and kept reposting stuff that had already been scrubbed. Just pure provocation, nonsense, and total stupidity... that’s all she ever brought to Politics. If you could, maybe present the whole thread where she got banned? Like, show the reasoning, show the spam levels, and if possible, just restore all those deleted posts right here so we can all see what we're dealing with. Just a plain old liar, I guess.
What Seamen? Please, talk about Shilton. Seamen used to let in absolute screamers—like, remember that one Ronaldinho's goal back in Japan? 😵 Honestly, that was way more of a total fluke than this mess at the stadium here... this was just bad luck, plain and simple. The ball just bounced right under his foot. I’d say he’s maybe 10% at fault, tops. And man, those other saves he made during the game? Absolutely legendary. I really think he might be the best American keeper we've seen in decades. Seriously, how he managed to stop Modrić and Kranjčar was nothing short of incredible.

And don't even get me started on Shilton... I mean, that guy was out there trying, but he just couldn't move like he should have. He could barely lift his feet off the grass, let alone pull off some wild acrobatic save. I've always wondered why they even put that old, stationary dude in goal to begin with.
