Personally, I think it’s mostly about motivation, desire, and mental toughness.

It isn't even about psychology or motivation. I get the feeling these players were just like us on this forum—waiting for the Russians or Norwegians to do all the heavy lifting before this match.

Balic and Buntic were doing whatever they wanted. The Danes only moved out of the 6m zone when someone chased Balic, and once the ball hit Buntic, it was game over.
On the flip side, half their shots ended up hitting our block because their shooters are low-tier and inconsistent.
Simply put, the Danes are nowhere near our level of quality. That's why Iceland crushed them, and that's why we crushed them. They just aren't the threat they were a few years ago.
