That mess just isn't my vibe😁
Why do we even need another "world music festival" in New York City?🤷

copperseal9 said:hehe I'm hunting for it too. Over at Spider, they told me they had a falling out with the distributor. Checked two other video stores and nothing. Can't find it at Walmart or Microsoft either. As for newsstands? Don't hold your breath... probably gonna hit up MG Movies tomorrow just to see if it actually lives up to all the hype from the critics.

Checked at Spider myself. They told me the distributor is being arrogant—demanding crazy money upfront. Same story at the other video spots.

Looks like it’s strictly for journalists and critics. 😂 Now we've clearly got a "distributor vs. video stores" war going on. The distributor thinks all this press coverage will force the stores to buy the film on their terms.

But based on how things look, the video stores aren't biting, so I don't get why they won't just release it for retail. Do they even want to sell this thing or what??? 😕

Raymond Palmer8 said:So what makes these two criminals "the same" in your eyes? Aside from the fact that A. Hopkins plays them both, what’s actually similar about them?

Anyway, the movie’s sitting at a 7.1 on IMDb. Could probably be higher if you ask me, but still points to it being a pretty solid flick.

Are they even that different? A. Hopkins plays them basically the same way. Both have that "I know something you don't" vibe, and both manipulate everyone around them using some insane level of intelligence. Or am I wrong?
Watching the movie and seeing Hopkins in action, I couldn't help but think, "Wait, haven't you already done this exact thing to Jodie Foster?" That déjà vu alone is enough for me to write this one off as nothing new.

Caught this a few days ago. Nothing to write home about.
Anthony Hopkins is back at it, playing the genius villain again. Honestly, one Hannibal Lecter is plenty, so there’s really nothing new on the menu here.

This is America isn't bad. It’s got this nostalgic vibe of growing up in the United Kingdom, using sharp character work to explain why people do what they do without getting all preachy or moralizing. The movie isn't some lecture or an ideological manifesto; it's just a snapshot of a specific era and society. Still, I’ve got a soft spot for his old Meadowsov flick, "dead man's shoes." Paddy Considine kicks ass 🙏 🙏

Bale does this all the time😁

The film got great reviews (Herzog is back in top form and all that hype), but it bombed hard at the US box office. Honestly, we probably won't even see it hit theaters here. So, when is it hitting streaming? 🤷 . Only the distributors know, but hopefully soon since it's dropping in the States this week. Not like that matters much to us anyway 😂

New Paul Verhoeven flick.
Saw on CNN that MG Films is handling the release. Anyone know if this is hitting stores or just going straight to streaming?

True story about an American pilot who gets shot down over Vietnam and ends up stuck in a POW camp, where he plots his escape.
So, after all that massive drama over the wristbands, anyone actually hearing anything about how the first-day crowd is holding up? Did people even manage to get back in for day two?
